Characteristics. How to identify them?
Definition: Texts that consist of a sequence of instructions, designed with some accuracy in order
to reach an objective (e.g. assemble a computer)
Grammatical Features:
 infinitive and imperative: put the powder in the glass; remove upper bushing from socket
