daily activities and all subjects in a classroom with 12 second graders and 12 third graders.
Effectively executed curriculum in all subjects in both grades content, standards, and included
technology. Implemented action plans based on data from newly adopted ELA and Math
curriculum to ensure students' success. Engaged students by providing lessons that are

Emma W. Shuey Elementary – Rosemead, CA. (RUSD) Kindergarten. Directed all daily
activities and all subjects in a classroom with 20 kindergarteners, including EL students with
first languages in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish. Effectively executed elementary
curriculum content, standards, and teaching methodologies including technology. Developed and
implemented an appropriate management system suitable for Kindergarten. Determined
students’ performance using formal and informal testing and observations. Engaged students by
providing meaningful lessons that were hands-on and fun. Collaborated weekly with colleagues
to create engaging lessons. Participated in teacher training programs. Member of
the Shuey School Site Council Committee and taught an after-school enrichment program

Coolidge Elementary - San Gabriel, CA. (SGUSD) Taught 2 nd and 3rd grade. Directed all daily
activities in classrooms with up to 24 children, including EL, special needs students, and
mainstreamed special education students on daily schedule for various subjects. Incorporated
technologies into daily instruction, such as Smart Board, projectors, laptop and a set of 6
chromebooks where students learned to share and edit google docs.
Utilized assessment data to continually drive and differentiate instruction to engage students
from diverse academic and emotional levels. Built strong relationship with all students and their
families by open channels of communication. Maintained a structured positive classroom
environment. Collaborated with colleagues weekly to create lesson plans and projects that
implement Common Core standards that reached all level of students and their needs. Assisted
