Learning Purpose/Learning Intention/Rationale:


The intention of this lesson is to get students organised for the final preparation prior to the
camp. Learning how to pack and bag, set up a Trangia and borrow school gear required for
the camp, final preparations.

Success Criteria / Learning outcomes:

Students will need to able to learn how to safely operate a Trangia and how to pack a
hiking pack. Students will also be required to have gear checked and hire out school gear.

Assessment:
- Students will be assessed on their engagement and participation
- No assessment in this lesson other than engagement and participation.
