2. Worked as a Jr. Oracle DBA in INCA Informatics Pvt Ltd, Noida

Project Title: Sasktel. (A Telecom based project having 380


exchanges)
Client : SaskTel, Saskatchewan, CANADA
Role : Involved in Database Administration work
using Server Oracle 9i.

- Provided Oracle database administrative support.

- Responsible for Oracle9i/10g logical and physical databases design.

- Installed, upgraded and patched Oracle software. Setup brand new


machines including Oracle software installation, Oracle side configuration,
third party backup software NE, ARCSDE troubleshoot and backup testing.

- Managed and resolved design issues during development.

- Moved database Schema changes to stage or production.

- Implemented database refresh with the hot backup using DUPLICATE or full
export. Used EXPORT/IMPORT to do table level and full database
defragmentation.

- Provided on-call production database support.

- Tested and documented some Oracle9i/10g features, such as duplicate


database using RMAN from both disk and tape, setup name server.

- Created materialized views, database link to access the data from other
database.

3. Worked as a Software Engineer in Infoseek Softwares Systems,


Lucknow.

Project Title : Jenis.


Software is aimed at complete Automation of Student, teaching and non- teaching
staff Information. The system handles the Student Admission Procedure, Student
Payment Structure, Student Information, Course Curriculum, and Student Marks
as per stream wise. The system generates various reports like, Defaulter List,
Student Mark Sheet, Stream Wise Report of the Student, Payment Due Date Report,
staff salary report etc.

Role: Involved as a team member-


- Client side Interaction
- Database creating tables,views,users,etc
- Designing forms and report.
- Writing SQL queries, Triggers, cursors in PL/SQL.
- Studied the existing system, interacted with end users,
gathered and documented their requirements.
- Designed DB Tables, Views, Relationships, Programmed
stored procedures, triggers and functions in Oracle 9i.
- Responsible for Developing, Designing and Implementing the
Online Question bank and online test modules for skill sets
like Oracle DBA.

4. Software Trainee in IASRI (Indian Agricultural Statistics Research

Project Title: PerMisNet


Client : Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi.
The project aims to provide a Information System to Indian Council
of Agricultural Research of its various sister Institutes like IASRI,
IASS, etc with specific Information generation in the form of reports
according to criteria of Scientific, Technical, Administrative
professionals/employees contributing their services to the ICAR and
sister Institutes. A specific report is available for each and every
individual of the organization. There is thousands of such employees
working in various centers all over India. We have member wise
reports of each employee.

Role: As far as my technical role is concerned I worked on


Report generation according to various specified criteria
Creating Queries in Oracle 9i .
Period: February - 07 – May -07.
