Bob Seger (6 de maio, 1945) é um cantor e compositor popular

norte-americano. A década de 80 foi aquela em que ele se consagrou.
Um de seus maiores sucessos foi a música "Against The Wind". Tem
conseguido se manter no topo graças a duetos com bandas pop e pop
rock como 3 Doors Down.

Bob trabalha em cima de um rock bem tradicional e "on the road

style", pianos, cadência, voz rouca, backing vocals e as letras falam
sobre liberdade, sobreviver os obstáculos da vida, vida noturna,
bares e mulheres. Faço questão de falar dele no blog porque sei que
muitos roqueiros brasileiros não tiveram a oportunidade de conhecê-
lo e é de grande relevância na cultura mundial.

Pra quem não conhece aconselho um momento calmo para curti - ló

pois sua música é um rock bem suave e agradável aos ouvidos, se
tiver uma boa noção de inglês então, tenho certeza que, de cara,
gostarão das letras, o que pra mim impera em qualquer estilo. A
música de Seger descreve muitas vezes o estereótipo "Outsider", o
"Street Cowboy", o "Lone Ranger" que entra nos bares sozinho, pede
uma cerveja e pensa na próxima estrada...

Ele começou sua carreira no início nos anos 60 mas só conseguiu

alguma projeção musical em meados dos anos 70 onde foram
gravados o
NIGHT MOVES e o LIVE BULLET, a banda que o acompanhava era
conhecida como The Silver Bullet Band um grupo de Detroit, ele
também teve em sua cozinha o Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section de
Alabama, uma banda de soul, rock e country que o acompanhou e
gravou diversos sucessos com ele. A sua clássica

Old time rock and roll foi eleita uma das músicas do século de acordo
com a "Recording Industry of America". Minhas favoritas são: No
Man's Land, Against The Wind, Ain´t got no money, Hollywood
Nights, Like A Rock, Her Strut, Old Time Rock n Roll, We´ve got
tonite, Still The Same, Turn The Page e Beautiful loser. Enfim mais
uma dica para aqueles que procuram som de qualidade, e gostam de
