Alliance for Downtown New York — The mission of the Alliance for Downtown New York
is to be the principal organization that provides Lower Manhattan’s historic financial district with
a premier physical and economic environment, advocates for businesses and property owners and
promotes the area as a world-class destination for companies, workers, residents and visitors. The
Downtown Alliance manages the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Business Improvement District (BID),
serving an area roughly from City Hall to the Battery, from the East River to West Street.
Lower Manhattan Cultural Council — Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) is the
leading voice for arts and culture in downtown New York City, producing cultural events and promoting
the arts through grants, services, advocacy, and cultural development programs.

BATTERY PARK CITY AUTHORITY — The Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority is a New York
State public benefit corporation whose mission is to plan, create, coordinate and maintain a balanced
community of commercial, residential, retail and park space within its designated 92-acre site on the
lower west side of Manhattan.
arts WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER — Since 1988, Arts World Financial Center has presented interdis-
ciplinary arts programming with an emphasis on commissioned works, site-specific installations and
premieres, year-round and free to the public with the continued support of American Express, Battery
