by study of doctor reports, log files and BSC/MSC dump, either by optimizing parameters or by
ANALYSIS: -Includes analysis of network by study of log files and dump and to determine the causes of
interference, poor quality, poor level, external interference, handover failure and congestion.

Responsibilities: Drive test , Survey & Field optimization
Radio Network Optimization of the network.
Monitoring Key Performance Identification (KPI) by means of SDCCH/TCH drop calls, call set up success rate,
handover success rate and congestion rate, and conducting Final acceptance Report by means of statistics and drive
test measurements.
Performing interference analysis. Distinguishing internal and external interference. Resolving internal
interference by hardware checking, frequency optimization (replacing frequency, frequency hopping, etc), site
survey. Resolving outside interference by locating interference source.
Database consistency checking for parameter setting and LAC & BSIC & BCCH mismatches. Analyzing neighboring
cell definition and optimizing Neighboring cell relation including outside neighbor cells.
Site database and initial parameters setting for New and Expansion Sites. Applying with Band 900 MHz, Hierarchical
Cell Structure, Extended Cell and Repeater due to hot spot area, lack of coverage area solution.
Proposing solution for GSM performance improvement by parameter setting adjustments, including power control
parameters, hand over control parameters, cell definition parameters, system information parameters. Confirming
adjustments results by monitoring statistic and DT data.
To find the causes of the call drops blocked calls, handover failures, excessive handovers, poor quality, poor C/I,
interferences etc.
