The purpose of this course is to equip a student with the skills to design, develop and maintain
dynamic websites.
Course Content:
Internet: History, methods of connecting, protocols, governing bodies.WWW and Web browsers
– IE, Netscape and Mozilla. WebSite Development - planning, basic design, layout and
construction, and setup and maintenance of a Web site. HTML. XHTML. CSS. JavaScript.
PHP/ ASP. MySQL. Web Security. Uploading and Maintaining a Website. Introduction to
Content Management Systems.
