Spring ball
season windup!
The energetic members of the Slocan Valley Baseball
Association have been busy! There are four leagues, from
t-ball ages four to six years, then rookies ages seven and
eight and Minor & Major League players between nine
and thirteen years old. Each one just as enthusiastic as the
next to be a ‘Valley Viking’, the teams collective name.
On Sunday, June 24 from 10 am to 3 pm, the associa-
tion is hosting their ‘Spring Ball Season Windup’ and your
invited to come out and support the teams, partake in the
concession, silent auction and ‘money bat’ draw. All funds
raised go directly back to the teams. Games start at 10 am
with the t-ball teams, then rookies play and Minor and
Major teams start at 1:30 pm. The auction runs until just
before 3 pm and the ‘Money Bat’ will be drawn during this
time. You do not need to be present for the draw, but we’d
sure love for you to hang out with us for the day and enjoy
our valley kids playing some great baseball!
