Summary  This Mod is being released to ensure regulatory requirements for local
language support are met at installation.
 DxH 500 software version 1.0.1 has been released to add software support
for the following languages: Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese,
and Czech.
 This Mod provides engineers with the instructions needed to upgrade
instrument s requiring the above language support.
 If any of the instruments bearing serial numbers listed in this Mod are not
required to have one of the above languages, this software does not need to
be installed and the Mod can be closed as “Does Not Apply”.
 If Mod 11673, 1.0.0 Software, is tagged to the instrument being updated, it
must also be closed after completion of this Mod.

Implementation Implementation of this Mod will occur at the installation of new instruments.

Section 1 Download and Save

Step Action
1.1 Insert a blank USB flash drive into your computer’s USB port.
1.2 Logon to Airwatch Content Locker
1.3 Go to Airwatch Content\Diagnostics\Software\DxH 500\Instrument Software
1.4 Download the zip file labeled “DxH_500_V1.0.1-002-upgrade.zip” and save file.

 Unzip the file and save contents in a Blank FAT32 formatted USB flash drive.

NOTE: Do NOT save the files in a subfolder within the USB flash drive directory.

at www.beckmancoulter.com). Refer to Chapter 9, Setting Up the System, section titled
“Updating the Software”:
