Gora

Gora is based on a novel by Nobel laureate Rabindranath


Tagore.Gora is a complex epic novel written at the turn of the
20th century. It is a love story laced with complex subplots. The
characters engage in intricate debates, reflections and
arguments.
The ideas that Tagore addresses are all the issues that were
fermenting in India in the late 1800s and early 1900s: the
exclusion of women from the main ranks of society and culture;
religious rituals and practices that appeared to some as
primitive; the caste system; India's place in a political world;
religious ideas opposed to Hinduism; Indian identity.

Ek Tha Rusty Season II, is an adaptation of Anglo-Indian wrtier Ruskin


Bond’s popular series, Rusty. The stories area bout an 11 year old

India and then goes to study in London. In Season II of this series,
Rusty is almost 30, has returned from England and is a struggling

Ghanteshwar Prasad Ghantewala is a comedy serial in which the main

Dukhi, an Untouchable, asks Ghasiram, a Brahmin, a favour could the

The Brahmin agrees and in return makes Dukhi slave over household
chores and himself retires for a siesta. While chopping wood Dukhi,
weak after an attack of fever, dies. The corpse lies close to the road
used by Brahmins to go to the village well. The untouchables shun it for
fear of police investigation. Ghasiram ties a noose around its ankle,
slides it out of the city limits and sprinkles holy water on the spot to
cleanse it of the untouchable touch.

him in five star hotel where he is staying. Reluctantly Meenakshi
agrees to meet him but the romance slowly gets sour as Meenakshi
starts seeing through the falsehood of Chandrahas's character. In a
peculiar circumstance, Chandrahas forces Meenakshi to pose as
Journalist which actually turns out to be a real interview.
Meenakshi exposes Chandrahas and walks out.
