LESSON PLAN 1 – UNIT I“THE ABC”

Objectives: after completing these activities the SWBAT:

Present a chart with the alphabet letters. Have students repeat after

Ask students to work in groups of three


Make sure that they all have the application they will need to use

to see the animals whose names start with the alphabet letter they

Provide each group a set of the alphabet letters for them to practice
the alphabet and the names of animals starting with that letter. This
will help them to learn in a funny and interactive way

Encourage them to repeat the letter and the animal’s name ability to retell what they
have listened
Have them have fun and practice for 20 minutes. Then, ask them to
stand up and say a summary to three different classmates about the
alphabet letters, and the animal’s name starting with such letter.

Beach ball alphabet learning new words


Write the letters of the alphabet in random places on the beach ball.
Arrange your students in a circle. One student tosses the ball to a
classmate, and that person catches it. Whatever letter is closest to
his right thumb she must name. Besides, the student will name an
animal word/ name that start with that letter as well. Play until
everyone has at least one turn.
