SESSION 1: PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT

This session consists on the presentation of the project. To do so, the teacher will bring a Rube Goldberg machine, made by her with
recycled materials and will show to the students how it works. The machine has to contain the three simple machines worked in
Naturals class and it has to be inspired by a Rube Goldberg machine, which performs a very simple task by using a chain reaction.
The teacher will present the machine in front of the students doing a description of the machine. Then, the students will do a draft of
their machine; they will have to discuss which materials should they bring to the next session as well as deciding who is in charge of
bringing each material.
CLASS MANAGEMENT
Students will be divided in 6 groups. Same as the ones they have been working in Naturals class.
OBJECTIVES
 Explain the project, describing the machine and showing how it works
 Decide the materials
 Create the machine’s draft
 Work in group
