Hosted by ASCE at UCLA Information Session Information Sessions are a great way for students to evaluate opportunities and network with potential employers. Covering topics that range from job/internship openings to an organization’s culture, Information Sessions are a powerful method for career exploration. However, ASCE at UCLA has taken these Info Sessions one step further to benefit employers. Last year, the UCLA Civil and Environmental Engineering Department agreed to actively promote our Info Sessions through faculty involvement and department-wide email notifications that reach every civil engineering student. This resulted in greater turn outs with more professional, company-focused events, and we will continue this practice for the upcoming year!
What does our Information Session Package include?
Historically, ASCE at UCLA has had high attendance rates with upwards of 40 students, with even higher attendance expected this coming year. Our Information Sessions are a great avenue to spread your company’s name, reputation, and agenda in a very personal and engaging environment. Pricing for an Information Session is $750 (public agency $550) and includes the following: • Free parking passes for all speakers • All technology and room reservations provided • Individualized attention from students • UCLA Civil and Environmental Engineering Department involvement • Special accommodations (i.e. price, logistics, etc.) provided with prior notice
