II. Present Simple:
a) sử dụng thì HTĐ để diễn tả lịch trình (lịch chiếu phim, giờ tàu, xe, …)
My plane arrives at 7.35 tomorrow evening.
start, begin, end, finish, open, close, be.
b) sử dụng thì HTĐ để diễn tả thời gian tương lai trong các mệnh đề chỉ thời gian (bắt đầu bằng when, as soon as, until,
before, after, while …)
I’ll go to bed when I come home tonight. (NOT when I’ll come home tonight.)
*Chú ý: cần phân biệt “when” đứng đầu một mệnh đề chỉ thời gian và “when” với vai trò làm đại từ để hỏi: When will you
come back?
III. Cấu trúc “be about to”: diễn đạt hành động trong một tương lai rất gần (vài phút hoặc vài giây)
The baby is about to cry. (The baby is going to cry in the next few seconds.)
