QCTM Requirements for Ball mill Productions

The General Booklet for Ball mill QCTM Documents:

According to our correspondence the following documents shall be added to

QCTM before fabrication at workshop:

1- ITP (inspection test plan) including production stages and inspection steps
and its importance as Hold, Witness or Review points.
2- Material lists and certificates including welding consumables and steel
finished products used in ball mill fabrication and their vendors
3- Welding Data Book including:
- WPS(welding procedure specification) shall be comprised of the
following items:
o Welding consumables
o Joint Designation
o Base materials
o Preheat and Post weld if needed
o Welding process parameters and number of passes etc.
- WQT(related welder qualification tests)
- PQR(prequalification tests)
Note: WPS, PQR and WQT shall be according to European or American
standards (American is preferable).
4- Approved Drawings
5- Procedure for Preheat and Post weld heat treatment including Time
temperature diagrams and the process of heat treatment according to
related standards.
6- NDT Booklet including:
- NDT extent
- NDT procedure

- NDT methods
- NDT and Weld Map for PJP, CJP and fillet welds according to related
standards and designations.
7- FFS (fitness for service) procedure during commissioning.
8- The following Checklist is proposed for Final Book gathering:
