cities. They will have the opportunity to recognize their self in relation to the environment and their community.

Toss Bean Bags- Toddlers will have the opportunity to throw the beanbags into the hula-hoops in the playground.

Inclement Weather Activity:

STICKERS – Toddlers will have the opportunity to stick and peel off stickers on a big piece of paper providing them with the experience of having
their hands in different positions.

Home Activity:
This week in class we will be focusing on singing, dancing, and noise making. The children will have the opportunity to participate in singing and
dancing to music as well as playing musical instruments in the dramatic play area. This activity will help the toddlers in their communication skills as
well as in their gross motor skills and cognitive development. During this activity the toddlers can also interact with their peers, which will help them
to socialize, and build relationships. Some other activities will include playing with planes, building and recognizing what makes up a community,
and playing indoor hopscotch.
At home you can help your toddler participate in singing, dancing, and noise making by using the take home instrument that will be provided
by the lab. Your toddler can play the instrument forming different rhythms and singing along with it. Taking the time to play the instrument with your
toddler will help in their physical and cognitive development.
