Third Grade
 Rules To Grow By
Know that you are special, unique, and capable of great
things.

Respect yourself and others by using positive words,

having good attitudes and keeping your hands to
yourselves.

Respect our learning environment by listening and

paying attention when the teacher is talking.

Ask questions when you need help or don’t understand

something.
 Student Rewards
• 1 Token= Visit to the treasure
Tokens can be earned by:
chest

• 2 Tokens= Choice of 15 minutes

of free time at the computer,
reading station, or craft station.
• 3 Tokens= Can save tokens and
pick treasure chest with free
time, or have a *pizza lunch with
the teacher.
*Or substitute if allergies.
▪ Having a positive attitude.
▪ Participating in class.
▪ Helping others.
▪ Students can also nominate
other students for tokens by
filling out a nomination slip.
Classroom Rewards
Classroom earns points by:
• Respecting each other
and our classroom rules.
• Showing good behavior in
specials and the
lunchroom.
• Participating in classroom
activities and discussions
with a positive attitude.
• Once every three weeks, the class
can vote to chose a singing,
dancing, or art activity relating to
current lesson.
• Once every three weeks class can
vote for a “show and tell day,”
everyone can bring something to
class and share its meaning.
• Once a month the class may choose
a *treat and **movie day.
**Movie must be appropriate
*Substitute if allergies.
 Consequences
First warning: Student will be reminded of
appropriate behavior and given a chance
to improve.
Second warning: Student will be assigned
to the timeout/reflection area and fill out
behavior form.
Third warning: Teacher will contact
parents to discuss behavior.
Fourth warning: Teacher will
arrange a meeting at school
with parents.
Behavior / Reflection Form
Located in the reflection area.
Students will complete during
the time at reflection area.
