Katie Mahr

Denise is prepping students for research on WONDER project. Classes are in different spots
currently. All classes have done “key word searching” and all classes have done “science flix”.
Some classes have begun researching their topic.

Heather is working with students on brainstorming a condition for their topic & choosing an
appropriate topic. Once students have conducted their research with Denise, Heather will be
guiding students to put their information in “google slides”. Heather will be making up Katie
Mahr’s tech class (as it will be missed on Friday) on Thursday, from 1:;30-2:15.

Heather is working on finding relevant apps to assist in the coming science and social studies
topics for 2nd quarter. She is also looking ahead to gather math resources in multiplication,
division, fractions and decimals as these will be HUGE topics come 2nd semester!

For the month of December, 4th grade will be focusing on Greek Mythology in literacy. Heather
has some awesome ideas for projects such as Greek Mythology Trading Cards.

Week of January 18th-

Students will be doing biography things in tech and library. They will present
as an autobiography. Students will pick names from “out of a hat”. They will use a
green screen as a background to present. Denise will take them to Keystone to look
