2:86

Ulaaa'ikal lazeenash tarawul hayaatad dunyaa bil aakhirati falaa yukhaffafu

'anhumul 'azaabu wa laa hum yunsaroon

Those are they who bought the present life for the Hereafter, so the punishment
will not be lightened for them, nor will they be helped.

Those are they who have bought the life of this world at the price of the
Hereafter. Their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped

"Nor shall they be helped" and they shall find no helper who will save them from
the eternal
torment they will suffer, nor shall they find any to grant them refuge from it

Decoding the Quran

Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world (bodily desires and
pleasures) in exchange for the eternal life to come (the inner reality). Their
suffering will not be lightened, nor will they be aided!

[2:86] Those are the ones who have purchased the life of this world at the price of
the Hereafter, by preferring the former to the latter — for them the punishment
shall not be lightened, neither shall they be helped, [neither shall they be]
protected against it.
