Scholarship Portfolio
A portfolio submission is a requirement for all applicants applying for scholarships in 2019.

Portfolios need to be submitted in hardcopy to Tara Anglican School for Girls by Friday 2
March 2018 by 4:00pm.

Portfolios cannot be accepted on the Scholarship Testing Day.

All candidates must sit the Edutest Scholarship Tests on Saturday 10 March 2018 at Tara
Anglican School for Girls. Edutest Scholarship Academic Testing applications for 2019 entry are
now open. Once you have registered, enter your Edutest Student Number below.

Please note for some scholarships, you will be asked to provide additional and specific evidence of
achievements or supporting documentation. Please refer to the scholarship information located on
our website tara.nsw.edu.au for specific requirements for each scholarship.

Section One: Academic Achievement Details


As part of this portfolio, include all academic achievements to support your daughter’s application. A
brief summary outlining the major academic achievements of the applicant should be included as
part of this portfolio.

A candidate must submit a short personal statement to introduce herself and indicate their special
interests and achievements. As part of this statement, describe why you are participating in Tara
Anglican School for Girls’ scholarship program. Attach this document as part of your portfolio.

This statement must be no longer than 500 words.

Section Three: Co-curricular Achievement Details


As part of your portfolio demonstrate your daughter’s enthusiasm for leadership opportunities,
community involvement and/or academic, sporting or cultural pursuits. Please provide a
summary statement of recent contributions and achievements in at least two areas below.
Photocopies of documents must be itemised and attached as part of this portfolio. Please have
each document signed as a true copy of the original document by a Justice of the Peace.
