III. ELIGIBILITY:

The competition is open to all students of College of Engineering and Technology for the S.Y. 2017-
2018. Each Department shall send only (1) entry with the following qualifications:
1. Each entry shall have (2) members. Combination of the sexes.
2. Participants’ height must not exceed 5’5”.
3. All participants must be bona fide students of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, currently
enrolled and must submit a photocopy of their school ID (front and back) and registration
forms.
4. Members of the Organizing Committee are not allowed to join the competition.

IV. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

 Photocopy of school ID (front and back)

 Photocopy of Registration form for the current semester (2nd semester, AY
2017-2018)
 Fully accomplished Official Contest Application Form

V. CONTEST PROPER

A. Contest Proper
 The participants must perform only one (1) 3-5 mins. talent.
 The participants will be given cloths on the contest itself, provided by the organizing
committee for the participant to wear in the Filipino Ethnicity segment and are given 15-20
mins. to change (A demerit of 1 point per 60 seconds from their Ethnicity Wear)
 The participatns may use their own accessories during the Ethnicity Wear
 The participants will be given a question to answer
 Contestants must wear proper attire. Wearing of indecent and inappropriate costumes are
strictly prohibited
 Performance of each gpair must not exceed 5 minutes, in the talent portion . (A demerit of 1
point per 10 seconds from their Talent)

VI. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Talent 20%
Ethnicity Wear 25%
Q and A 30%
Audience Impact 10%
 Time Management 5%
Overall Appearance 5%
Total 100%

*Scores will be computed separately then averaged afterwards to determine the

winners

VII. GENERAL GUIDELINES

A. On the matter of judging, the decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable.
B. At all times, when there are doubts on the mechanics, the decisions of the organizers shall prevail and
shall be final and irrevocable.

VIII. PROTEST

Any problem or discrepancy during the competition will be brought to the attention of the
competition organizer who will address it with Head Judge, and/or event committee and the respective
decision(s) made will be final and irrevocable.

IX. AWARDS AND PRIZES

 All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

 Special awards will be recognized on stage and receive a certificate of recognition and sash
 2nd Runner-up, 1st Runner-up, and Little Ms. And Mr. CET shall be recognized on stage and receive a
certificate of recognition, sash and trophy/crown
