MATE ENUMERATOR™ SEQUENTIAL NUMBERING TOOL
Use Mate’s Enumerator™ Sequential Numbering Tool to stamp sequential
serial numbers of up to six characters on your sheet metal parts. This
application is essential where part traceability is important.

• Six characters, up to 0.118(3.00) high.

• Two modes: Sequential Number and Fixed Number.
• Start number is adjustable.
• Material thickness from 0.020(0.50) to 0.236(6.00).
• Thick Turret 3-1/2” D Station.
• Four external keyways for 0, 90, 180, 270 orientation.
• Robust construction for long service life.

The core of the Mate Enumerator Sequential Numbering Tool is a robust

stamping head that uses up to six numerical stamp wheels. Each wheel is
engraved with characters from 0-9. As the tool is stroked by the machine,
the engraved characters leave a crisp and clean mark in the top surface
of the material. As the tool retracts, the Mate Enumerator Sequential
Numbering Tool advances the stamp wheel to the next number in the
sequence.

The Mate Enumerator operates in two modes: keyways for maximum flexibility.

• Sequential Number Mode: Use this mode to create sequential

numbers. Mate Enumerator advances by one number for each
complete stroke the tool makes.

• Fixed Number Mode: Use this mode to create fixed numbers, such as
a date, batch number, or part number.

The operator can manually adjust the starting number for maximum
convenience across multiple products.

3-1/2” D Station—Dedicated holder design includes easy external

length adjustment mechanism to accommodate material thickness from
0.020(0.50) to 0.236(6.00). The holder also features four external keyways
that allow 0, 90, 180, 270 degree orientation, for maximum flexibility.
Stamp six-digit numbers up to 0.118(3.00) high. Number advances with
each tool stroke.
