PROJECT NEPAL
PROIECT
aunver@stu.acs-school.com

This was a project that I was a part of in

2016-17. We raised money and materials to
bring to a school just outside of Nepal’s capital.
During this project, we helped building a new
classroom, painting, teaching and cooking with
the kids in the school. This developed my skills
in terms of buildings and communication with
peers and different cultures. It has allowed me
to understand the living standards of less
developed countries

REINVENTING THE CITY

aunver@stu.acs-school.com

This is a piece I started and completed in a

summer course in The Bartlett in London. It is
a collage made solely from artwork by a British
AWARD WINNING:
UCL BARTLETT SHORT COURSE
cartoonist, Heath Robinson.
SPECIAL COMMENDATION AWARD
I started researching about each of Heath Robinson’s pieces and
2017 slowly started adding it onto the underground. It slowly started
expanding and expanding where I started having two layers of
underground, a city above it as well as having the earth in between
them. Trough-out this project I tried to make as many inventions
as I could, in the underground as well as overground by assembling
diferent figures from Heath Robinson’s artwork to create some-
thing that adds a different element to the underground.

Original Work from Heath Robinson My Sketch to practice Robinson’s Style

Original Work from Heath Robinson My Sketch to practice Robinson’s Style

I found out about Heath

Robinson when doing my
drawings in the course. Due to
his simplistic yet very easy to
understand style of drawing, I
decided to practice the way he
draws his figures and objects.
He has a style of drawing that
immediately allows the
audience to see what happens
when one object is triggered,
which I wanted to portray in
my drawings as I wanted it to
be easy to understand what
each person was doing.

OVERGROUND
This original drawing by Heath Robinson is showing a
machine made in order to collect eggs. I took the cliff
off this drawing and implemented it on the lef side of
the over-world.

I used the background of this drawing by Heath

Robinson in order to add an industrial element to
the piece because of the diferent inventions that are
seen in the artwork.

I used the corner of this drawing for the corner of mine

in order to continue the old and industrial theme and
add an element of it to the sky.

UNDERGROUND
To make the Underground longer, I duplicated the photo a couple
of times. I also faded the photo so it can be used as a layout of the
Underground rather than the actual background.
