 FUSE CUTOUT
The drop fuse cutout are normally connected to the primary
supply line, it contains a fusible element (a link) whose melting
automatically disconnects the transformer from the main line to
prevent damages from overloads, it also disconnects the line from the
transformer in case of faults occurred in a transformer, not only
preventing spread of damage in the faulted transformer, but also
preventing interruption to the primary line that would affect other
customers served from the line and transformer as well. The drop fuse
cutouts can be designed both single and double vents expulsion depend
on requirement.

FEATURE

The MC cutout represents a concerted effort by GK to bring the industry a truly outstanding cutout. The
MC designed to provide over current protection for equipment that may be damaged by system overload
or fault condition. This cutout meet ANSI C37.42 standard.
The type MC distribution cutout provides dependable full-range, low-cost, fault current protection to
distribution circuits through 27 kV. These cutouts accommodate universal button-head fuse link
fuseholders, with non-expendable caps.
