Topic 2
Vocational training programme
Vocational training programme is adult education that gives the
participants the skills needed to cope, for example in care, transport,
hospitality. Those who study the programmes are allowed to learn
Swedish while training professional skills. A labour market training
programme is a vocational training programme geared toward
occupations where there is a shortage of trained staff. There are training
courses in several different industries and occupations, and the selection
varies based on the needs of the labour market.
