ON PROBATION
DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
The Manual Registrations for Private Schools, Art. XIV, Sec. 78, 1992, states that every private school
shall have the right to promulgate norms, rules and regulations it may deem necessary for the maintenance of
good school discipline and class attendance. To this effect, ADFC will adapt the following disciplinary
sanctions in accordance with the offenses of pupils/students:
A. MINOR OFFENSE
1. Warning
1st Offense : The attention of the student is admonished by the Teacher Adviser or by
the Principal.
2nd Offense : Summoning of parents, guardians or any responsible person charged with
the care of the student.
3rd Offense : In case of minor personal offense, a written apology will be made:
a. To the person concerned, school authorities, employees, co-student
and others
b. Suspension form classes for 3 days depending on the weight of the
minor offense.
2. Probation
Students placed under Probation will either be Behavior or Disciplinary Probation or Academic
Probation.
Probation will mean that the student has forfeited the confidence and high esteem of the school
authorities. The student is requested to restore this by definite act of positive efforts to improve his behavior and
academic performance.
a. Behavior or Disciplinary Probation
This is imposed on a student with unsatisfactorily attitude and behavioral record i.e. habitual
tardiness, irregular class attendance, and unsatisfactory conduct.
b. Academic Probation
This is a measure imposed on a student with academic failures or unsatisfactory academic
performance after two (2) grading periods.
A student placed under PROBATION whether Behavior/Disciplinary or Academic Probation
will be disqualified from enrollment if and when, no improvement has been made to correct his
performance in school. This student is subject to behavior or academic dismissal
C. MAJOR OFFENSE
3. Suspension
This disciplinary measure deprives the student from attending classes for a period of five (5) school days
or more depending on the gravity of the major offense. This measure also disqualifies him form any school
function or academic honors and awards within the grading period when the suspension was given. The parents
of the student subject to his disciplinary measure will be called by the Principal or the Director to the school to
know the offense and the sanction.
Suspended students have to report and stay in school and do the required assignments.
4. Dismissal
This is the final execution of the student form the school and it is the ultimate sanction. There are times
that the school authorities are forced to enforce this sanction when all means are exhausted and the students fails
to give a satisfactory evidence of cooperation in all the requirements of academic work and behavioral attitude.

clientele and the administration.
The ADFC has a strategy on information dissemination to both parents and student. It conducts an
information and orientation activities before classes starts to brief both parents and students of their obligations,
rules and regulations, their rights and limitations. The students are made to understand fully the contents of the
Student Handbook in order to stop or minimize problems that may arise during their studies. It encourages the
students/trainees to participate actively on decision-making which concern students, in order to carry-out the
institutions vision, mission, goals and objectives.
