Milliplex Protocol (.

pbx) User Guide

（for Bio-Plex Manager5.0）

You can easy to start Milliplex kit with these Protocols. They are included analytical settings, Analyte
and standard information. If you need farther information, refer to the help of Bio-Plex Manager.

Starting Bio-Plex　Manager5.0
Click on the icon on your desktop.

Open Protocol
Click on the Open button on Quick Guide or main toolbar.
You can also open to double click a Protocol file.

Note: These protocols’s names are product ID.

1.(Optional)Describe Protocol　
Entering a description of your Protocol is optional.

2. Select Analyte
Note: Select the Analytes that you want to detect in the reading.

3. Format Plate
Select control and sample wells.　Background and standard wells are set as the assay manual.
4. Enter Standards Info
Standards information is set as the assay manuals.
Note: Some kit is needed to enter the lot original concentration. Refer to analysis sheet for exact
concentration.

5. (Optional) Enter Controls Info

Entering a Control concentration is optional.

6. (Option) Enter Samples Info

You can enter description and dilution factor for each unknown.

(Option) Save protocol　

7. Run Protocol
Click on the Start button.
