Problem while opening Performance Management

If the PMUSER is not created by default while installing the BOXI software the below problem
exists.
This problem occurs when you try to open the performance management in the Business
Objects XI. If the above problem occurs then follow the steps given below

Article refers to: BusinessObjects Performance Management XI

Symptom
Performance Manager XI is installed on Windows 2003, and the license key for all EPM
applications has been entered. After clicking the 'Performance Manager' link in
InfoView, the following error message appears:
"Intialization parameters in initialization configuration properties file are invalid or
mismatched, please contact your system administrator. AA2209. An error occurred at
the server : Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your
logon information is correct."
Why does this error message appear and how do you resolve it?
Resolution
This error message appears because the PMUser account does not exist. This account
is used for Initialization when you first use Performance Management and if the account
does not exist, authentication will fail when you launch Performance Manager because
it attempts to log in with the PMUser account.
To resolve the error message, follow these steps:
1. Log into Central Management Console and create a new user called "PMUser" with
no password.
2. Ensure that the new account is a member of the Enterprise Administrators group.
3. Restart all "AA" processes and the CMS.
You can now log in to Performance Management.

Use the following procedure to add a user to one or more groups directly from the user
page.
Note: You can also add users to a group from the group page. See Adding users to a
group.
To add a user to a group
Go to the Users management area of the CMC.
Under Account Name, click the link to the user whose properties you want to change.
Click the Member of tab to specify the group or groups the user should belong to.
Note: All BusinessObjects Enterprise users of the system are part of the Everyone
group.
Click the Member of button to view the available groups.
In the Available groups area, select the group(s) that the new user should be a member
of.
Use SHIFT+click or CTRL+click to select multiple groups.
Click the > arrow to add the group(s); click the < arrow to remove the group(s).
Click OK.
The "Member of" tab appears and lists the groups in which the user is a member.

CREATING CMS TO THE LOCAL SERVER:

At first we have to create a new database in the sqlserver
Programs  sqlserver enterprise manager click one of the server and double click
the database and select create new database.

This is the process when oracle is not present in the system and SQL server present in
the system and to connect sql server locally and not remotely.

Errror when logging into INFOVIEW

When you are trying to enter or logon the infoview if this message occurs then you must
follow the steps given below:
• First check all the servers are running in the CCM(Central Configuration
Manager) or not.
• If all the servers are running then goto enable and disable servers option and
check whether all the servers are enabled or disabled by clicking on the option. If
the servers are disabled then click enable all option and click ok button.
• Goto Business objects folder in the specified drive in which you installed and
from that goto performance management  initconfig.txt file. Open that textfile
and see that initialization.CMsname and initialization.Clustername are present or
not. If the CMS name and cluster name are not present then copy the name
which is present in the system textbox and restart all the servers.

If there is any problem in starting of CMS then we have to check the cluster name in the
initconfig.txt properties which is present in the business objects performance
management folder.
