THE COMPLIANCE OF SELECTED CITHM STUDENTS ON THE STUDENT

DISCIPLINE POLICY OF LPU CAVITE FOR A.Y. 2017-2018

The purpose of this research is to determine the level of compliance of the

College of International Travel and Hospitality Management (CITHM) students towards
the student discipline Policy of LPU-Cavite. Also, these paper aims to improve the
implementation of student discipline policy, to know the compliance of the students on
the school discipline policy, to know the factors affecting the student’s violation, and
their level of awareness. Quantitative method was used in the study and survey
questionnaires was distributed to the respondents under the CITHM. The result shows
that the overall level of awareness of the students are extremely aware. The level of
compliance results to strongly agree that their compliance with the school discipline are
well performed and practicing all the school discipline policy in everyday basis. All the
respondents strongly agreed that the factors affecting their violations are the peer
influence and the genetic factor and agreed that the environment or the community
factors has a big effect to their lives. Moreover, it results to proper living with their
families which is also one of the indicator affecting the student violation. Hence, it can be
concluded that the overall compliance and awareness of the CITHM Students in LPU-
Cavite towards the student discipline policy is very good. The respondents agreed that the
school provided a proper orientation for them to be oriented with school discipline policy.
It is recommended that the future researchers, they can use this as a reference to their
research papers well improved. The researchers should consider the year level of the
respondents to have more factors in violation of the students. For the research paper to be
more credible and specified to the future studies.
