Title of Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity: KidPub URL of Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity: https://www.kidpub.com Describe how you would use the Online Project/Collaboration Site/Publishing Opportunity in your classroom: With this standard, students are to develop a narrative, this will take days to do until we come to the final draft. Once students have completed their final draft, they will post it on KidPub (with parent consent) and collaborate with students online if they wish with teacher monitoring. They may also enter into a contest if they’d like to. The next day after they post, they may sign to view any new responses and contest updates. Using this encourages students as it gives that collaboration aspect as well as contest aspect. What technologies would be required to implement this proposed learning activity in a classroom? Laptops or desktops Describe how the following features are addressed in this learning experience (note: all of them may not be addressed in the project, but most should be if you are reaching a high LoTi Level.): a. Collaboration with peers, near-peers, mentors outside their classroom and often beyond their school: KidPub, they are collaborating with students online. b.
