CHECKLIST FOR PLASTER WORK

1 Ensure the availability of the documents such as Material approval,

method statements, shop drawings & subcontractor’s approvals.

2 Ensure for wall to receive plaster thick > 40mm, Cementitious non
shrink repair mortar applied as per manufacturer recommendation.

3 Check that proper curing is provided for the repaired mortar.

4 Ensure the Surfaces to receive plastering free from all loose particles.
Ensure proper installation of plastering accessories, openings' sub-
5 frames & level Guides as per approved material submittal, method
statement & shop drawings.
Ensure the sequence of plaster application with protection of other
6 works, embedment, finishing and corners have been carried out as
per requirement.

7 Ensure if Rush coat is applied on substrate as per the manufacturer

recommendation and method statement (When required)
8 Ensure that surfaces are wet prior to plaster.
9 Ensure the area near wood frames, skirting and around pipes or
fittings as true and level.

10 Ensure the required number of coats of plaster have been applied

with respect to the requirements.
11 Check that the finish coats are applied as per requirement.
12 Check that proper curing is provided.
