Introduction
Technology and availability of close up vision viewing devices results in half the visual
field to close down or to be paralysed. This is damaging the binocular brain cells in
children particularly up to at least the age of 7 when binocular cells mature. The eye ball
itself is not fully grown until the age of 20.
The rise in technology and availability and use of close up mobile vision devices for
very young children is directly mirrored by the rise in mental illness.
Mental illness in children and young people has alarming increased over the last 20
years. It now stands at 20 percent of young people. In America there is a thirty-five-fold
increase in social security disability insurance for children in the same two decades. If
there was the same increase over the next two decades we would see the vast majority of
people suffering a disabling mental illness.
Mental illness manifests itself in many ways e.g. violent crime, suicide, domestic
violence, obesity, drug abuse, antisocial behaviour, and civil unrest in all forms, all of
which are directly mirrored by the rise in mental health problems in young people.
It would be the end of civilisation in less than 50 years’ time. Parents hold the only
solution and are the only salvation of mankind.
Illustrated by Fergal Monahan
Appreciation
I would like to thank my wife Anne, daughters Olga and Hannah, all my family and
friends who have all helped me at various stages by participating in observation tests. My
special thanks to my assistants Donna Kane and Fergal Monahan, who took part in each
of the observation tests documented throughout this book, with special gratitude to each
and every one of the many participants who sat through painstaking hours of observation
studies and tests. My special appreciation is also extended to Fergal Monaghan for his
brilliant illustrations.
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to my deceased mother and father; Peter and Martha
Price, my brothers Tom and Paddy, and best friend Alan Day. Their lifetime knowledge
and experience instilled in me the knowledge that science had only scratched the surface
of man and animal’s relationship with the natural world.
PREFACE
Technology and availability of close up vision viewing of laptops, mobile vision devices,
etc, will end civilization as we know it in just a few generations.
Vision is the most precious sense we possess in biological terms, it functions close to
the speed of light and is directly or indirectly linked to all the important areas of the
brain. The transparent cornea and lens focus the image on light sensitive cells on the
retina. The retina senses and processes the visual image before sending it to the left and
right hemispheres to the cerebral cortex.
Vision evolved in three-dimensional space but the technology in vision viewing
devices is forcing our vision to operate in two-dimensional space. For adults whose
vision is fully mature it will only affect their vision, but for young children whose
binocular vision is not mature, it will also affect the binocular vision cells in their brains
from maturing naturally. Any
damage to brain cells result in mental illness in some form.
We pay great attention to the sense of hearing where exposure to loud noise effects the
fibres in the cochlea and inner ear brain cells creating a symptom called tinnitus and other
mental problems. But we pay no attention to the sense of vision where incredible damage
is being done to the brains of our children particularly in the brains of very young
children and we totally ignore the statistics which are alarming.
STATISTICS
Some statistics differ slightly but they all have the same trend.
Mental illness in the last 50-60 years has increased 200 to 250 percent.
These rises are also directly linked and mirrored in the advent the rise and surge of
two-dimensional viewing of mobile viewing devices and artificial 3d displays for young
children over the same period to the present day. The greatest surge in the last decade.
▪ In America there was a thirty five fold increase in social security disability insurance for
children in the last 20 years.
▪ Mental illness of 10-24 year olds is now approximately 20 percent at the present. If the
same increase occurred in the next 20 years we would be living in a mentally disturbed
and extremely dangerous world.
▪ 0ver the last 45 years’ suicides increased 60
-1-
percent worldwide in developed countries. So now the numbers committing suicide is
approximately 1 million each year, approximately the same number of people that are
killed in road accidents. What is even more alarming is that for every 1 suicide there are 4
more at risk.
▪ Depression of 15-16 year olds almost doubled between 1980 and 2000.
▪ Depression is now the single greatest problem in the developed world among teenagers.
▪ Suicide is now the leading cause of death in 15 to 25 years’ olds in Australia and is also
the leading cause of death of 15 to 34 year olds in Ireland.
These facts relating to the rise of two- dimensional vision viewing of laptops and
mobile viewing devices are directly mirrored by the rise in mental health problems
among young children and teens by the alarming statistics over the last 50 years, in
particular the last two decades especially in the last
-2-
decade.
▪ What is scarier is that in recent times computers and mini laptops are being introduced
in the UK and Ireland in national schools from junior infants up. These devices are being
introduced for educating children in creating apps, games and websites. Now young
children will also be playing games on mini laptops with children in other schools. This
means that the children’s binocular vision brain cells are not just damaged in their homes
but also in their national schools. This will result in a greater surge increase in mental
illness in the next decade.
▪ The last 10 years saw the largest surge in mental illness and is also directly mirrored by
the largest surge of new technology and availability of vision viewing devices for
children such as mobile vision devices, laptops, etc.
▪ We must also be aware that mental illness manifests itself in many other ways such as
suicide, violent crime, fraud, domestic violence, obesity, depression, antisocial
-3-
behaviour, drug abuse, and civil unrest in all forms. All of which have dramatically
increased over the last ten years. Particularly in the last year, again directly mirrored by
the rise and availability and use of these devices for young children.
▪ In America and China childhood obesity tripled in the last 20 years.
▪ In the UK domestic violence has increased 35 percent, it is estimated that 10 more
women commit suicide to escape abuse. That is now a weekly death toll of 12 women.
▪ There has been an increase in burglary of 14 percent, and thefts of 70 percent, over the
last year.
▪ Resent statistics released by the office for national statistics show a rise of 27 percent in
violent crime in a year. Assaults where victims suffered minor injuries increased by 38
percent last year.
▪ 95% of imprisoned young offenders have a mental health disorder, many of whom have
more than one disorder. (Young minds)
-4-
▪ Civil unrest has risen 20 percent in countries worldwide in the last quarter of 2015.
▪ It is estimated that 1 in every 3 women are subjected to domestic violence.
▪ Disability insurance increased 250 percent from 1987 to 2007.
The way children live today is far removed from the way children lived in small towns
and farms in the late fifties. Children worked in their homes, shops and farms. They had
sometimes to walk miles to school with neighbouring children. Everything took effort but
every moment was magic. All neighbouring houses were homes. In summer time they all
played outdoors all day. I will never forget the local girls with their angelic smiles as they
ran the fields and climbed the trees with the elegance, grace and freedom of little angles.
At night the parents read and told stories. Visitors to the house would be entertained by
music and song as practically every house possessed an accordion or fiddle.
-5-
Nowadays it is considered normal for young children and teenagers to watch and view
television and play games and text on laptops and mobile vision devices all day and night
instead of playing outdoor in three-dimensional space. Apart from viewing in two
dimensional space these children are exposed to cyber bullying and other dangers in
social media.
It is generally accepted that a child’s binocular vision does not fully mature until they
reach 7 years of age.
▪ Binocular vision is an area in man that is not mature at birth. It is generally accepted
that binocular vision does not mature before the age 7 years, the eyeball itself is not fully
grown until the age of 20. So close up viewing of mobile vision devices and laptops
should not be allowed at least up to the age of 7 and limited up to up to their mid or late
teens.
▪ Another problem that occurs is a vision problem called myopia (near-sighted). This
problem starts at birth up to the late teens and after. It is also caused by close up
-6-
viewing of mobile vision devices laptops and books. The statistics show that the rise in
this problem is also directly mirrored by the rise and surge of mobile vision devices and
mental health statistics. Now the prevalence of myopia ranges from 30 to 40 percent in
Europe and the US and up to 80 percent in Asia and China.
▪ There has been an explosion in these mobile vision viewing devices among children in
the last 2 years. These rises range from 38 percent of 1 to 2 years old up to 75 percent of
8 year olds.
▪ This means 3 out of 4 very young children aged 1 to 8 years old are now using these
mobile vision devices. This is a rise of over 25 percent of children aged 2 to 8 and a rise
of 10 percent for babies up to 2 years old in the last 2 years.
▪ It can take years for mental illness to surface in children and young people so we are
now looking at a massive surge in mental illness over the next 10-20 years, a rise in
excess of another 20 percent. If mirrored with mental
-7-
illness in the last 20 years, this will result in at least 40 percent of young people mentally
disturbed in 10 to 20 years. By then we will be coming close to the time when this
problem may be irreversible as the use of these devices is also becoming more and more
addictive. They are not a toy anymore, they are now becoming a way of life for young
children.
▪ Everything comes and goes, be it Wealth, Power, Status, Fame, and Life itself, but
mental illness in children is accelerating and not going to go away and it will end in the
destruction of mankind.
▪ If there is no dramatic change in these recent figures doomsday will be much closer,
perhaps 10 to 20 years closer. Parents hold in their own hands the only solution. It will be
tough but they alone hold the only salvation of their children and ultimately the salvation
of mankind.
▪ Another problem on top of the mental health problems causing the paralysing of
binocular cells in half of the visual field is the
-8-
irreversible damage that can be caused by blue light emissions from these devices. This
can cause damage to the retina resulting in memory problems and other mental health and
vision problems.
▪ One would have taught that countries with high poverty, conflict and very little medical
treatment would be worst effected by mental health, but that is not so. Figures released by
(WHO) in 2012 show that many of the countries most effected by mental health are not
among the world’s poorest. In some low income countries there is only 1 health worker
per 100,000 compared with 50 or more in some higher income countries.
▪ Exposure to loud noises damage the fibres in the cochlea and cells in the inner ear brain
cells causing Tinnitus (constant ringing sounds when there is no sound) and other mental
problems. In a similar way exposure to close up viewing of mobile vision devices
damage the binocular cells in the brain before the binocular cells mature at the age of 7
resulting in much greater mental health
-9-
problems.
▪ It not just the rise in mental illness which is alarming but all the areas it manifests itself
already stated which are mirrored by the same rise. This is even more alarming.
▪ Our children are the foundation of mankind but damage to their mental health is eroding
away this foundation at an alarming increasing rate. If we do not stop this erosion the
total demolition of mankind is just a couple of generations away.

VISION
Vision has evolved over millions of years as a means by which animals used light to
provide information about their surroundings. All animals and plants use and sense light
in a very complex and sophisticated manner. Light is a very important element to all
animals and nature. The simple daisy can be observed closing its petals when light fades
as if going to sleep, while subsequently re-opening them with the advent of the morning
sun.
In a world of predators and prey, the ability of the eye to discern contrast stereo depth
movement shapes and colour was always the key to survival. As a result, the evolution of
the eye over millions of years has reached an incredibly high level of sophistication.
To understand how these vision devices can cause all these dramatic mental health
and vision problems which are mirrored by the damage to binocular brain cells in young
children we must first understand my
- 11 -
discoveries in the structure of the visual field.
My book (S.S.S.R.D. AND THE CORTEX EYE) is the first ever proven and
complete new concept of visual perception. Also for the first time it illustrates and details
further than the focal point. Further than the focal point is half of the visual field. This
area and much more of the visual field where very complex and intricate functions occur
almost at the speed of light is closed down or paralysed when viewing two dimensional
screens such as laptops, mobile vision devices etc. The binocular vision brain cells in this
area do not function preventing these vision cells from maturing naturally particularly in
very young children.
Without knowing the structure of the visual field we simply cannot understand the
delicately of a child’s vision and the damage to the children’s binocular brain cells that
can occur.
- 12 -
THE HUMAN EYE
FIG 1
Figure 1 shows a diagram of the human eye, the structure of which is similar not just in
humans, but also in all mammals. It is a spheroid filled with fluid under slight pressure.
This pressure maintains the shape of the eye. In the vision process light passes first
through the transparent cornea, through the pupil, the lens, the vitreous, and finally onto
the retina.
- 13 -
The lens is attached to the ciliary body by the zonula membrane. Muscle movements
change the shape of the lens and adjust its focal length.
The inner most layer of the eye, the retina, is a delicate membrane of nerve cells and
the functions of these cells are essential in the vision process. There are approximately
130 million photoreceptors located in each retina. These photoreceptors consist of rods
and cones. Rods outnumber the cones by a ratio of about 18:1 and are more densely
situated towards the centre of the retina. There are no rods in the actual fovea area itself;
this area contains only cones that are densely packed together. Rods and cones also have
different sensitivity thresholds; rods are stimulated by dim light, while cones are
stimulated by bright light and are the source of colour.
The optic nerve connects each retina to the brain. There are one million nerve fibres,
each of which, on average, must be shared by about 130 photoreceptors. Most vision
processing is done in the retina itself, in three layers of cells
- 14 -
called the bipolar and amacrine cells and the ganglion cells, (Dowling, 1968). Each
photoreceptor interconnects in a complex pattern with bipolar cells and ganglion cells, as
do the bipolar amacrine and ganglion cells, before the impulses leave the retina and are
sent along the optic tract to the brain.
A VERY BREEF DISCRIPION OF
(S.S.S.R.D. AND THE CORTEX EYE)
My book on (SSSRD AND THE CORTEX EYE) illustrates and details the first ever
proven and complete new concept of visual perception. it explains the structure of our
vision is no based on two overlapping visual fields, which has been always been assumed
since the beginning of man. It is a much more complex intricate system based on
simultaneous sectional suppression and retinal dominance combined with the function of
the cyclopean cortex eye.
- 15 -
This means that three-dimensional space is essential for binocular vision to mature
properly and vision and the brain to mature together. All of the observations in (SSSRD
and the cortex eye) are proven by natural observations and occlusion tests. All
observation tests were confirmed by the same five observers and by at least twenty
random observers all with good vision.
In (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye) the structure of the binocular vision is constructed
of sectional monocular inputs. The monocular inputs vary in size in the large binocular
human visual field. It consists of retinal sectional areas of both eyes but the entire image
consists of no more than the receptive area of one retina. This in turn means that there are
also different suppressed sectional areas in each retina, which are comprised of the
receptive area of one entire retina that is constantly suppressed in each fixation. The
suppressed retinal sectional areas in each eye correspond with the dominant retinal
sectional areas of the other eye.
- 16 -
Fig 1 Fig 2
FIG 1 is the structure of the dominant areas of each eye in the visual field. The grey areas
are the dominant areas of the left eye and the white areas the dominant areas of the right
eye.
FIG 2 illustrates the dominant and suppressed areas (black) in each eye and their
assembly in the visual cortex before the cyclopean (cortex eye) occurs.
There is only the area of one entire retina comprising of dominant inputs from the
two retinas present in the visual cortex before the
- 17 -
function of the cyclopean or cortex eye occurs. The image that arrives at the visual cortex
is a complete image with no overlap.
• Observation tests in (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye) explain how an occlusion
zone in one eye is already a suppressed area in the other eye which now views it. More
importantly this area moves with the visual axes of the eye that it is attached to in
(cyclopean or cortex eye) and not with the visual axes of the eye where the occlusion
occurs. This means that all targets in the retinal sectional area where the occlusion occur
moves in an opposite direction to the now dominant area in the other eye but retain the
same mathematical formula for depth perception. Occlusions occur every time our eyes
fixate in three-dimensional vision.
- 18 -
Fig 1 Fig 2
Fig 1 illustrates the structure of the dominant areas before the function of the cyclopean
eye occurs.
Fig 2 illustrates the structure after the cyclopean cortex eye occurs. All targets move D
distance closer nearer to and further than the focal point when the cyclopean cortex eye
occurs. All targets in all the dominant sectional areas across the entire visual field move
in this way.
Fig 3 MATHS PICTURE AND FORMULA
- 19 -
The focal point is always the center of the image. This creates a measurement of depth
nearer to and further than the focal point F.
The formula for depth across the entire visual field is half the D distance movement
divided by the tan of the converging angle of each visual axis at the focal point F nearer
to and further than the focal point.
These functions occur almost at the speed of light every time the eyes fixate on an
object. The function of the cyclopean eye is the last to occur and this is proved by natural
observation.
During convergence the two visual axis rotate on the focal point become a single
cyclopean eye consisting of the dominant sectional areas of both eyes including the two
monocular areas resulting from the occlusion of the nose. They all work together to
create the fixated image almost at the speed of light that enables us to perceive depth,
motion, and stereo perception in every fixated image. The continuous interchange of
these dominant monocular areas combined with the cyclopean cortex eye when the focal
point changes that
- 20 -
creates disparity which enables us to achieve direct depth, motion perception and stereo-
vision from the optic array.
The book describes the mythical (cyclopean cortex eye) as never before.
The cyclopean or (cortex eye) has never been defined. The cyclopean eye was always
understood as a single eye which determined visual direction. In (S.S.S.R.D. and the
cortex eye) the cyclopean or (cortex eye) results in the two visual axis rotating on the
focal point F to become a single axis. All targets in the dominant areas in the visual field
move with the visual axis which they are attached to. This creates a mathematical
formula for measuring depth perception and motion across the entire visual field and has
little value in judging visual direction as always assumed. The dominant eye controls
visual direction.
- 21 -
Fig 1 Fig 2
Fig 1 illustrates the normal binocular single image in three-dimensional space after the
function of the cyclopean cortex occurs.
Fig 2 illustrates binocular single image in viewing two-dimensional space such as mobile
vision device’s laptops, etc, which results in most of the visual field being blocked and all
the binocular brain cells in this area being paralysed.
FIG 3
- 22 -
This amazing sensory organ taking up more brain power than any other one of our
senses and linking up with more than thirty areas of the brain.
My discoveries in (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye) are proven by natural observation
and occlusion tests and all the facts relating to technology and availability of vision
viewing devices and the mental problems in particular among children and teens are both
directly mirrored by the alarming statistics in both particularly in the last 20 years and
even more alarming so in last 10 years.
S.S.S.R.D. is the abbreviation for simultaneous sectional suppression and retinal
dominance. These sectional suppressed and dominant areas coordinate to produce a
single eye view of the world around us.
Modern technology in laptops mobile vision devices prevents the three dimensional
and stereo imagery and the cyclopean or cortex eye (which instantly measures dept.) from
occurring in half of the visual field and as a result will damage the binocular brains cells
of young
- 23 -
children in particular in children up to age of 7 when their binocular vision is not fully
mature. The binocular vision cells stretch to more than 30 areas of the brain.
All of these functions occur almost at the speed of light. Depth is measured by
complex mathematical equations. All of these cells are paralyzed by two-dimensional
viewing of mobile vision devices and particularly artificial 3d images; directly or
indirectly linked to the visual cortex which directly measures depth, motion, and stereo
vision via the (cyclopean or cortex) eye.
But evolution of the brain with respect to mental illness will go into reverse if not total
destruction as a direct result in the rise and availability of mobile vision viewing devices
particularly for very young children in just a couple generations
Vision also evolved to view in three- dimensional space, this includes a three-
dimensional image which includes all these intricate complex functions occurring at
almost the speed of light.
- 24 -
Viewing two dimensional screens half the visual field is blocked and all the binocular
cells involved in creating depth, stereovision, visual direction, and motion are all blocked
and all these binocular cells in the brain are trying but unable to perform their normal
function.
Simultaneous sectional retinal dominance is the automatic simultaneous activation of
two separate dominant sections of each retina that occurs at the same instant the eyes
converge and fixate. These four separate complementary opposite retinal sectional areas
have defined boundaries. The four sectional areas two of each retina fit together like a
four-piece jigsaw radiating from the focal point F comprising one entire single image.
The boundaries are defined by the visual axis of the left eye V L and VLI nearer to
and further than the focal point F and the visual axis of the right eye V R and VRI nearer
to and further than the focal point F. The other two boundaries K and G are located at
right angles to V L and VR at the focal point. Simultaneous sectional retinal dominance is
the automatic
- 25 -
simultaneous activation of two separate segment sections of each retina that occurs at the
same instant the eyes converge and fixate.
FIG 4.
Fig 1 Fig 2
THE FRAMEWORK STRUCTURE OF THE VISUAL IMAGE
Fig 1 illustrates the dominant sectional areas of each eye. Fig 2 illustrates the
- 26 -
structure and transit of the dominant sectional areas to the visual cortex when the
(cyclopean cortex eye) occurs.
Figure 4 illustrates the entire framework structure of the optic array optic. The grey
areas are the dominant retinal-sections of the left eye and the white areas are the
dominant retinal-sections of the right eye and the black areas are the suppressed areas.
The monocular boundaries nearer to and farther than the fixation point, ML and MR,
resulting from the occlusion of the nose create two opposite monocular retinal-sectional
areas. Over millions of years of evolution, the location of these retinal-section boundaries
and areas formed as the most efficient and best suited framework structure for the visual
system, so that all mammals could see the clearest and most informed image at all times.
So our eyes have been using trigonometry in equations for measurement of depth at
almost the speed of light for millions of years before man ever discovered formulas for
these mathematical equations.
- 27 -
Obviously I cannot detail all the areas and functions of vision perception as detailed
in my book (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye) but I hope this very brief description of the
visual field gives a basic understanding of how complex and intricate the visual system
is. I also hope that parents will understand how important it is to allow this incredible
sensitive brain cell structure of vision to mature without damage.

RESULTS OF MENTAL ILLNESS
It is very important in at least the first 7 years that a child’s binocular vision is allowed to
mature in a three-dimensional world otherwise the childes binocular brain cells will be
damaged as a direct result.
It is considered normal in modern times for very young children to watch cartoons and
films and play games and text on laptops and mobile vision devices for hours. This forces
most of their binocular vision cells to close down and become paralysed. Apart from the
danger of mental illness, these children are
- 29 -
exposed to cyber bullying and other dangers of social media.
The eyes are the camera of our brain and it follows that a false reception from the two
eyes working as a single eye will cause damage to the brain particularly in very young
children whose binocular vision is not mature. The rise in mental health problems is
directly mirrored by the rise in vision technology and availability of these devices. It is
also mirrored by all the areas already stated where it manifests itself.
▪ They start in the fifties their rise up to the late nineties and their surge in the last 20
years right up to the present. The greatest surge in both is in the last 10 years. So the next
10 years does no look too bright.
▪ 1 in every 12 and young people inflicted self- harm. Over the last ten years the number
of young people sent to hospital as result of self-harm has increased by 68%
▪ In the last ten years among children and young people diagnosed ADHD in the US
increased 90%. This problem has nothing to
- 30 -
do with poverty as the greatest increase is in rich well-off families. This does not take
into account cyber bullying or other dangers of social media which are also massive
problems.
▪ Depression is now the greatest single problem in the developed world among teenagers.
Every year approximately 1 million people around the world young and old commit
suicide. In the last 45 years this is an increase of 60%. Young people are at the greatest
risk. This is equivalent to all the people killed in road deaths.
▪ In America the medical expenses for health problems for young people increased from
8.9 billion dollars in 2006 to 247 billion dollars in recent times. It is reckoned by statistics
that only 50 percent of people requiring medical health treatment get treatment in
developed countries. This rises to 90 percent in developing countries.
▪ If there were any increases in the mental health in young people on top of the increases
of the last ten years, then in less
- 31 -
than 50 years we would see the end of civilisation as we know it. It is not climate change,
or nuclear wars we have to worry about. It is modern technology and availability in
vision viewing devices mirrored by rise of mental illness particularly for very young
children that is our greatest imminent danger.
▪ In Australia suicide is the leading cause of death for young people aged 15 to 25.
▪ The number of young people aged 15-16 suffering from depression nearly doubled
between the 1980 and 20OO.
▪ It is estimated by (WHO) the world health organization that by 2030 depression will be
the second highest disease burden in middle income countries.
▪ According to the national institute for mental health, suicide is now the third leading
cause of death among teens in the United States. In India one third of suicides are young
people 15 to 29. In India 154,000 suicides were recorded in 2002.
- 32 -
▪ We must always remember that for every one death there are 4 other at risk.
▪ Suicide has increased 60 percent in the last 45 years. It is now the second leading cause
of death among ages 10 to 24 in some countries. (WHO)
▪ 9O% of people who commit suicide have a diagnosable mental disorder.
▪ 95% of imprisoned young offenders have a mental health disorder.
These skyrocketing statistics have not made headline news, the reason is baffling.
There are rules and regulations beyond belief for health and safety in every walk of life
but the biggest health problem of all by far is the skyrocketing mental health problems of
children. This is completely ignored.
It is incredible with all the highly educated people there is in the developed world with
easy access to statistics, that to this today, nobody has ever put forward a reason or a
solution, particularly when the destruction of civilisation is so close.
- 33 -
The developed countries have 20% and more of their young people mentally ill with
some debilitating mental disorder and even taking into account a small increase, these
countries would have at least 50 to 60% of their populations with disabling mentally
illness in just a couple of generations. Our national schools will gradually become special
needs schools. The world would become a mental institution. It would not be safe to walk
the streets. The economies of the developed countries would plunge to third world status
even the mentally ill that required state housing or medical treatment would not be
unaffordable.
The evidence of this is clearly understood from the alarming statistics over the last
twenty years the greatest surge was in the last ten years.
The different stages of life that children go through to early twenties are quite
dramatic. All of these changes are areas of life that they perceive they need to be part of.
All of these different stages are visionary perceived in order
- 34 -
for that person to mature naturally.
The physiology of what they perceive and understand and how they interrelate with
other people is directly linked to their visual physiology of life at that particular time.
Any interference with this progression can and does have serious consequences. The
statistics of the last ten years prove this to be true and directly mirrors the so called
advances and growth of all the before mentioned technology and availability in vision
viewing devices particularly for young children.
▪ America, one of the top developed countries in the world, tops the list in both
availability of these vision devices and mental illness. In fact, some statistics say that
over 40 percent of American people suffer from at least one form of mental illness.
CONDITIONING OF THE BRAIN
The conditioning of the brain of young people is also another major factor. Most modern
films, children’s games and images on laptops and
- 35 -
mobile vision viewing devices, sex or violence, seems to be the order of day. Even on
television household disturbance and violence is also the order of the day, not to mention
cyber bullying and other dangers of social media.
This leaves young people with a huge problem in forming a good physiology of life.
As a result, relationships between men and women are very fragile and divorce and
domestic violence is a much more common occurrence unlike it was in the past. Long is
gone the old traditional saying (where ever you lay your bed you must lie in it). Back
before the seventies divorce was a very rear occurrence. Nowadays according to statistics
it is estimated 50 percent of marriages end in divorce.
TECNOLOGY IN COMUNICATIONS
The evolution of man has a long way to go being only in percentage terms a few
percentage genes wise different to that of his ancestor the ape and still retaining the basic
life force of the ape which is control and dominance. The gene
- 36 -
was more prevalent in the male ape. This is also mirrored in man where the gene is most
prevalent in the majority of males and the minority of females.
This gene is in all people but in different degrees of prevalence. There is always a
leader of men in every group of people from local groups up to national groups. All they
require is a cause, these causes range across the board from sport, religion, race, politics
etc. People in general will follow a leader to satisfy their own dominance and control.
Technology in communications is the gravy train for the control and dominant man. It
is also the gravy train for putting the evolution of man into reverse. The natural
intelligence and physiology of man is no longer an individual treasure. We are all
becoming robot like people, controlled by robot like computers. There will never be
another John B Keane or Thomas Hardy or John Keats or William Shakespeare to
mention but a few, ever again in the robotic world we are living in today. Man is
becoming that “flower that is born to blush unseen and
- 37 -
waste its sweetness on the desert air”. (Thomas Gray).
Apart from the mental illness in children technology is starting the evolution of man on
his journey back to the jungle where he evolved from. If there is no major change in
particular the mental health of children the next 10 to 20 years looks horrific.
There are in excess of 1 million people die each year from air pollution attributed to
vehicle emissions. That is approximately the same number of people killed in road
accidents. This alone is equivalent to the number of deaths from a massive world war
occurring every year. There are no health or safety rules to control this slaughter of
people. Why is electric cars not made compulsory? Why is an electric train line not an
integral part of every new motorway? The answer is the control and dominance of man.
Most people who reach the top in all professions and politics the dominant and
controlling gene is very prevalent particularly in men and we live in a mostly male
dominating
- 38 -
world. The dominant controlling gene was the cause of every war in the past. Now there
is conflict and civil unrest across the world.
▪ According to statistics out of 162 countries covered only 11 countries are free of
conflict. Now civil unrest and violent attacks is almost a daily occurrence.
Back in the fifties old men whose physiology was based on tradition used to say as
soon as people across the globe can freely communicate it would be the end of the world.
That time one would have to cycle miles to the nearest post office to make a phone call.
Little did they know that technology in communicating would reach the stage that it is
today. They were absolutely right, since 1950 civil unrest has been increasing at an
alarming rate across the world again mirrored by the rise in mental health problems and
greatly assisted by the advance in technology in communications.

IRISH PEOPLE SUFFER OTHER MENTAL TORMENT AS WELL AS
THE MENTAL PROBLEMS OF YOUNG PEOPLE
In Ireland there is no personal contact any more, you can no longer sit down with your
bank manager to discuss your financial position. All instructions by state bodies and all
instructions are issued by the press of a computer button. It very clear that these
instructions are issued by very dominant and controlling people as the ordinary person
would almost need the advice from an accountant and a solicitor to fill in a form or
application and all penalties are savage. A form is not a couple of pages anymore it is
now a small booklet.
An ordinary citizen cannot make a complaint as he or she is instantly informed that
their complaint is covered in the small print and they signed up to. So now most citizens
would require a new collage degree specially set up to teach them the rules and
regulations in just living a normal life.
All the financial burdens of mental illness and in all the ways it manifests itself are
levied
- 40 -
on the ordinary citizen. Even the banks financial problems are burdened on the ordinary
citizen. When taken out of trouble they then in turn surround the ordinary law abiding
citizens’ homeowners and all the small and medium sized business people like lame
animals hunted down by a hungry pack of wolves not to finance them but to take
everything they can from them.
In Ireland there is no actual statistics on the numbers of people who have committed
suicide as result of bank pressure. I personally know 4 lovely hard working descent law
abiding middle aged local people in the last 7 years that have done so. If this was
reflected countrywide the number of people killed by suicides as a result of bank pressure
over the last 7 years would be a very large number. This view is backed up by statistics.
We have one the highest suicide rates in the Eurozone and almost double the rate of
our neighbours the UK.
Across the world suicide is approximately 1 million people, almost the same number
of
- 41 -
people that are killed in road accidents but in Ireland suicides is approximately three
times the number of road deaths. These numbers do not take into account the number of
some single car accident deaths. Nobody has ever been held accountable.
In Ireland SME’s pay the highest loan rates in the Eurozone.
Inflation has been a natural progression for the last hundred years but modern
economists believe they can stop it and put it in reverse. They seem not to understand that
when interest rates rise from 2 percent to 4 percent yields drop at least by 30 percent and
as a direct result the value of the properties also drop at least 30 percent. They don’t seem
to understand the mental and financial torment they are creating for the ordinary citizen’s
homeowners and all small and medium sized business people.
The recession in the Eurozone was caused by fast high rises in bank interest rates. As
a result, suicide escalated all over the Eurozone. Ireland was one of the most effected.
- 42 -
Ireland has now control of their own interest rates and are now continuing the
recession for these people by charging the highest SME loan rates in the Eurozone. They
don’t seem to have learned from mistakes in Europe.
▪ In Ireland suicides outnumber road deaths approximately 3 to 1.
▪ It also has a higher rate of mental illness among young people than other countries.
▪ Gone is the day when an Irishman’s home was his castle.
▪ In 2014 the largest number on record of people slept rough on Dublin streets.
▪ Ireland is among the highest suicide rates in Europe yet we are told we have the largest
GNP rise in the world.
▪ There are 5,811 people homeless in Feb 2016 an increase of 48 percent on Feb 2015.
▪ In Dublin there were 8 families a month becoming homeless in 2012.
▪ In 2013, 20 families a month were becoming homeless.
- 43 -
▪ Last year this number doubled to 40 families every month becoming homeless.
▪ The latest number for August this year 70 families became homeless.
Banks, governments, and economists seem to be exempt from health and safety rules
and regulations. There is even no financial privacy any more as banks share private
financial personal information with other banks.
If there is no dramatic change in the economic management of the country particularly
in bank interest rates in the next 5 years’ time we will see continuing in creditable
financial and mental torment escalate for all the ordinary hardworking law-abiding self-
employed citizens, home owners, and the small and medium indigenous business people.
These people were always the bread and butter of all economies. This will also result
in the self-destruction of the banks themselves. The economy of the country will also
dramatically suffer as a result, in particular from the huge rise in people requiring state
- 44 -
housing and funding.
Homelessness is increasing in Europe and America but in Ireland and in particular
Dublin, it is becoming an epidemic.
Mental health combined with the control and Dominant gene can be a lethal
weapon.
We must also be aware that mental illness in young people manifests itself in many other
ways such as suicide, violent crime, Fraud, Domestic violence, Obesity, Drug abuse,
Depression, Antisocial behaviour, and Civil unrest in all forms.
Many health problems results from mental illness but in all the other violent areas
including civil unrest, antisocial behaviour, domestic violence, and violent attacks result
from mental illness combined with the genetic dominant controlling gene.
Like our ancestors the ape the dominant controlling gene is more prevalent in males.
When this gene is combined with different
- 45 -
forms of mental illness in young people it becomes lethal weapon. As a result, the vast
majority of offences are committed by males. All of these problems have been
skyrocketing over the last 20 years so we looking at a very dangerous future.
John F Kennedy said, “If we could not end war, war would end us.” The same is true
with mobile vision devices. If we as parents do not limit their use for children, they will
end mankind. The possibility of ending wars is impossible simply because of mans close
links to the ape whose basic life force is dominance and control as a result most people
who aspire to the highest position in all groups of people, institutions, and politics have
the strong control and dominance gene.
No doubt technology has and is useful in many ways but has been very damaging in
many more ways. For example, the car we take for granted. We could not make them fast
enough or big enough over the last 50 years to suit the dominance and control of man.
Apart from the death toll of vehicle and air pollution every year
- 46 -
approximately 1 million people are killed in traffic accidents not to mention the numbers
seriously injured. Almost another 1 million people die from suicide. This is equivalent to
the death toll of another massive world war occurring each year.
By understanding (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye) we will understand how we feel
confident driving at fast speeds simply because our perception accelerates with motion
but our reflexes does not accelerate. This has always gone unknown. In the same way a
bird can be caught on the ground by a cat but can fly through a dense branched tree in full
flight with ease.
DOMINANCE AND CONTROL IS A TIERED SYSTEM.
We all thought that getting rid of communism and dictators and creating democratic
governments was the answer to all problems. Little did we know that the so called
democrats when in power would use their control and
- 47 -
dominance in exactly the same way as the dictators used theirs.
Many of these people have no qualifications yet they pay themselves huge salaries and
expenses. They control all the state and semi state bodies, the judiciary and even the
media. Favouritism and Corruption is rife in some of these bodies. Again no rules or
regulations apply to these so call democrats as they are the ‘BOSS’. We believe we are
living in a democracy while in fact we are simply living in another form of dictatorship.
The ordinary law abiding citizens are the only ones that suffer all the burden and costs
of all the incredible ever changing rules and regulations. Many of these people who
unknowingly or are unable to conform to some of these incredible ever changing rules
and regulations are punished by savage penalties. This also results in some of these
people being forced into criminal behaviour as they see it as the only viable way of
surviving.
All these incredible ever changing rules and
- 48 -
regulations are issued to try to control the increasing criminal behaviour. Nobody seems
to understand that all these ever increasing new rules and regulations only feeds criminal
behaviour and vice versa. One feeds of the other so in the future we are looking at a
bottomless pit in both and an ever increasingly mentally frustrating and uncontrollable
world.
THE WORLD IS BECOMING MORE VOILENT
Global violence has been on a rising trend for the last 8 years since 2007. The death toll
in 2015 was 163,000 a rise of 28.7 percent on the previous year 2014. (REUTERS).
This year so far the trend does not look any brighter. Again the cause is control and
dominance and when this is combined with mental illness it can become a lethal weapon.
This is also the reason why man is beginning not to understand that peace sows the seeds
for a peaceful harvest but violence only sows the
- 49 -
seeds for a violent harvest. Statistics clearly show that we are now sowing and harvesting
more of the latter in the world we live in today.
▪ There is an excess of 50 million refugees 20% or more than 10 years ago and the
biggest number on record
▪ Shakespeare’s description of life being “a poor player who struts and frets his hour upon
a stage and then is heard no more” was never as true as it is in the world we live in today.
▪ His question (“to be or not to be that is the question. Whether it’s nobler in the mind to
suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or take up arms against a sea of
troubles”). This question is also more clearly understood in the world we live in today by
the massive surge increase in depression and suicide over the last 45 years.
Control and dominance has always existed since the time man began. It is a tiered
system ranging right from the rich and powerful down to local groups, families, even
down to the poor
- 50 -
people sleeping rough on the streets. There is a hierarchy in every group of people.
As the old people used to say again based on tradition, there are two classes of people
in the world regardless of class, colour, creed, rank, wealth, or position. That is an honest
unselfish person or a dishonest selfish person. If you belong to the former you are out of a
tiny little drawer but there is nobody in the whole world better than you. This old
physiology of life is also diminishing and that tiny drawer is becoming much tinier in the
world we live in today.
▪ It is inevitable that man as we know him will eventually become extinct. Since life
began all the great predators became extinct for different reasons. Man or ‘homo sapien’
evolved only 200,000 years ago which is just a blip in the evolution time of the animal.
He is now the greatest predator on earth on land and sea. His journey to self extinction
has already started and is now accelerating at an alarming explosive rate. His arrival time
is less than 50 years from now. The
- 51 -
reason being modern technology and mental illness combined with the life force
dominant and controlling gene of man.
▪ All that separates man from the animal is a higher level of intelligence. Modern
technology and mental illness is reducing this level to below the intelligence level of the
animal. We don’t need a high level of intelligence to know what this means. Mankind
unknowingly is using modern technology to dig its own grave.
▪ Modern man believes he is now the most intelligent predator on earth since life began,
yet he doesn’t even realise or understand and more alarmingly he doesn’t seem to even
want to understand how close he is to his own self extinction.
I even experienced control and dominance myself after publishing my book
(S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye).
I introduced it to all the lectures in perception and psychology in Dublin. All the girl
lectures were very excited with the book but
- 52 -
the top man (the boss) told me not to be taking up his girl’s valuable time.
On the way out of one of the colleges one day I accidently bumped into a very honest
decent very intelligent open-minded man. He asked me for a copy of the book. The next
day he rang me to meet him for a coffee in Dublin. After a chat I discovered he was
Roger Anderson one of the top ophthalmologists in Europe. He was the professor of
ophthalmology and vision science at University of Ulster at Coleraine and an honorary
professor of visual neuroscience UCL institute of ophthalmology. He asked me if he
could foreword the book. I was never as excited in my whole life as I was that day.
Today we have a lot of very highly educated people in the developed world. They
seem to have their degrees in tunnel vision, very few with an open mind and natural
intelligence.
All the great discoveries over the centuries were made by simple mostly self-educated
people Blair (television) Bell (the phone)
- 53 -
Rutherford (the atom) Mendal (the genetic code) Edison (the light bulb) Leonardo da
Vinci (master of art and many scientific discoveries most of which did not materialise
until hundreds of years after his death). He even discovered an occlusion zone.
One of my observation tests details and illustrates and proves for the first time the
structure and function in depth of occlusion zones in the visual field. These functions of
occlusion zones were never proven or illustrated before my book (S.S.S.R.D. and the
cortex eye) was published.
- 54 -
CONCLUSION
Apart from the mental health of children, computer technology is also creating a whole
new area of crime. Hackers are using computers for hatching and opening up very
sensitive personal and financial information on people’s computers. Even some state files
are being hacked into.
▪ The huge down side to technology is not just mental illness, cyber bullying and other
dangers of social media but cyber fraud. This is rising across the developed world but the
possible end is fighting.
▪ In the UK there was an explosion of online and cyber fraud almost 6 million offences
committed that is 1 in 10 adults fell victim.
▪ In America and China obesity has tripled among teens in the last 20 years and heart
problems are not unusual among this group. This directly relates to inactivity resulting
from the overuse of mobile vision devices. So technology not only damages the vision
and
- 55 -
brains of young people but also their physical health.
Young children are of course being at the greatest risk of vision and brain damage in
particular when their binocular vision cells have not matured, but adult’s vision is also
affected. This is borne out by the fact that building workers, farmers and people in
general who work outdoors in three dimensional space rarely wear glasses or corrective
lenses, while people who work indoors viewing computers and books frequently do.
From the day a child is born and up to at least the age of 7 is where the main problem
occurs, mental illness. Any brain cell damage results in mental health problems.
- 56 -
PARENTS ARE THE ONLY SOLUTION
We will never stop the technology in communications. The main problem is mental
health of young people, it starts at the age of 1 and we the parents are the only ones who
have the power to control this by banning the use of close up mobile vision viewing
devices certainly up to at least the age of 7 and limiting their use of it up to their mid or
late teens. Most important encourage outdoor activities.
We owe it to our beautiful intelligent children. All of the statistics in the medical
health of young people already mentioned are directly mirrored by the course of
increasing technology, availability, and use of these devices for young children. Little did
Blair, Edison, and Bell think that their great discoveries with the aid of satellite
communication would end in destruction of the human race.
In the last twenty years’ suicide, depression, obesity, antisocial behaviour, drug abuse
and civil unrest in all forms has risen at an
- 57 -
alarming rate again across the developed world directly mirrored by the rise and use for
young children of mobile vision viewing devices and mental illness.
1. The reason for writing this book is a direct discovery resulting from all my
discoveries in the structure of the visual field in (S.S.S.R.D. and the cortex eye). The
closing down of practically the entire visual field when viewing two dimensional images
in very young children results in binocular brain cell damage and therefore resulting in
mental health problems and all the other areas it manifests itself. The rise in these
problems are directly mirrored by the rise and availability and use of these vision viewing
devices for young children over the last 20 years particularly in the last 10 years.
2. It also results in myopia and immersions of blue light which can cause memory and
mental problems in young people.
- 58 -
3. I hope my discoveries will result in parents denying the access to these close up
viewing devices and encourage outdoor activates certainly up to at least the age of 7 and
limiting their use up to their late teens and strongly protesting to their use in primary
schools. In fact, do not send your 4- year-old children to these schools until these mobile
vision devices are withdrawn.
4. It is generally accepted that mental problems can take years to surface in children and
young people. Young people in their mid-twenties now would have reasonably well
escaped even though 20 percent of them are mentally ill but children born in the last 5 to
10 years by the time they are in their mid-twenties mental illness and in all ways it
manifests itself will be becoming an epidemic. It may also have reached the stage when
this problem maybe even irreversible and mankind will be heading for extinction.
We as parents are the only ones that have
- 59 -
control of this and if we take immediate action and immediate action is required, not only
will we be protecting our beautiful intelligent children from mental illness, myopia,
obesity, depression, drug abuse and all the other relating problems resulting already
stated, but we are the only salvation of mankind. Thank God the only solution lies solely
in the hands of parents as their children’s mental and physical health is the most
important thing in the world to them.
