Universal Design for Learning (UDL): For my visually impaired students, they can listen with headphones to
get the same information as their other classmates. This activity will help my English Language Learners
because they will be able to visually see the planets.

Lesson idea implementation: Before I begin the lesson I will show my students the timeline that I have
created. My students will get a preview of what they will be learning during this lesson by previewing the
planets on the timeline. I will let my students discuss what they have learned about the phases of the moon
after viewing and discussing the timeline. Students will be put into groups where they will take control of the
lesson. During this time they will become experts of one particular phase of the moon. After everyone is done
becoming experts on their phase of the moon, we will come back together as a group to discuss what they
discovered.

Reflective Practice: This lesson will show students responsibility skills that they need and skills to collaborate
with their peers so that they can create their presentation. The students could even learn about the entire
solar system and do their research about it in depth. After they finish doing their research of the solar system
they could create a presentation of their choice and share it to the entire school of what they discovered
about it.
