(phrases).
(MAINSTREAM) (ii) Fill in the blanks with at least 5 directions
(sentences) correctly with little guidance.

 Simon says on directions.
Pre-writing (Pair)
 Palm tracing- Pupils trace their palm and write
the following phrases on it.
(i) Walk along- index finger
(ii) Go along – ring finger
(iii) Turn right - thumb
(iv) Turn left – pinkie finger
(v) Go straight – middle finger
While Writing (Group)
 In group, pupils need to complete the text based
on the map given. (mixed group)
 The answers are displayed on the board in a
jumble up order.
 The groups take turn to present their answers.
 Peer checking
Post-writing (Individually)
 Pupils complete the worksheet given (Fill in the
blanks).
 LINUS pupils are given differentiated learning
(phrase level) of same text.
Closure
 Pupils do the word search
