Dear Alumni, Parents, Staff & Friends,

We are a month away from the 2018 Rogers Invitational Golf Tournament on Friday, August 10th at Green
Valley Country Club. Again I am anticipating a highly successful and well-attended outing. Below are just
some of the ways your support was used this past year:
 Funding for 5 athletic-based scholarships or awards – Toppa, Chandler, Campbell, Viau & Dougherty
 Purchase an outfield fence for the fast-pitch softball program
 Send student-athletes to the Outdoor New England (NH) & National (NC) Track & Field Championships
 Provide all football players with a team t-shirt
 Provide girls basketball with practice jerseys and shooting shirts
 Routine preventative maintenance service visits for the Rick Hole Fitness Center

Fundraising efforts have become a significant and vital piece of the athletics department so that I can continue
to provide our young athletes the tools and resources they need in order to learn, improve and succeed. This
would not be possible without the help and support of the generous Newport County businesses and individual
residents, who each year continually support our student-athletes. Thank you for your continued support of
RHS Athletics! In the past you may have played, sponsored a tee, or donated raffle items. I respectfully ask for
your continued support and generosity.

Green Valley staff, upon completion of your round.
