1. Assessment of CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) and SEE (Semester End Examination) to be
conducted strictly as indicated in Asserfsment and Evaluation chart mentioned in the respective

The average marks of thnee tests shall be rounded offto the next higher digit.
3. Two practical I.A. tests shallbe conducted as per SEE schemiof valuation. The marks

4. The average marks of all graded exercises in Workshops/Drawings/Record writing etc.

5. Rubrics to be framed appropriately by the concerned course coordinator (faculty) to assess
Assignments/Student activities/Mini project/Project works.

6. Inplant Training may be scheduled continuously for a period of l0 days conveniently in the
beginning of 6'h semester or 4 hours per week preferably on Saturdays. (52 hours per semester).
The concerned course coordinator (faculty) / Programme coordinator(HoD) shall guide and assist
the students appropriately to identify the industries/workshops/site visits and to carry out Inplant
training.

7. The number of students in each batch shall be restricted to maximum of six (6) students in
Project work / Inplant Training / frofessional Practice and the workload of these activities Shall
be equally distributed among all the faculties of the respective programme.

8. To assess continuous improvement in students leaming outcomes, the feedback from the students
shall be taken as mentioned in the cuniculum. The appropriate feedback formats may be suitably
framed by the course coordinator (faculty) in consultation with the Programme coordinator
(HOD). The students feedback may be documented in soft form and necessary care should be
taken to avoid manipulations. The course coordinator (faculty) should prepare detailed course
plan well in advance with specific leaming outcomes.

9. Course outcome attainment analysis shall be carried out by the course coordinator (faculty) at
the end of each I A Test and SEE results. In order to improve academic performance of the
students, the appropriate remedial measures should be suggested by the Internal Quality
Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the polytechnic.
