1. First, download your preset and unzip/extract the file.

2. Next, in Lightroom, go to the Develop module.
3. In the “Presets” panel on the left, select or create a new folder where
you’d like to place your new preset and give it a name. (To create a
new folder, right-click anywhere within the Presets pane and choose
“New Folder”.)
4. Right-click on the folder and select “Import…”.
5. Navigate to the new preset folder, highlight all files and click the IM-
PORT button in the window. Your new presets will now appear inside of
Lightroom.

To apply a Lightroom preset to your image, do the following:

1. In Lightroom, make sure that you are in the Develop module.

2. Select an image you would like to work on so that you can view it in
the preview window.
3. Next, click on a preset on the left under the Presets panel. The preset
will then be applied to your image.

To use an ACR preset, you need to get it into the Presets tab. The easi-
est way of doing this is by copying the preset files into the folder on your
computer. Here’s how:

1. First, download and unzip the file to your computer.

2. Then, navigate to the folder where the presets are stored:

MAC:
Username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings

(If you don’t see the Library folder, do the following: Open up the Terminal applica-
tion on your computer, and enter the following text: chflags nohidden ~/Library/,
then click the Return key).

WINDOWS:
C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
or
Username/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings

If you don’t see that location, then you’ll need to make sure that your “Show Hidden
Files…” setting is turned on. To do this, go to the Control Panel > Appearance and
Personalization > Folder Options > Show Hidden Files and Folders. Then, in the the
View tab, change the default setting of “Don’t Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives”
to “Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives” then click the OK button.

3. Once you have this folder opened, locate the download folder with the
presets and open this folder in a separate window. Then, drag the .xmp
files over to the Settings folder. (You need to be sure that you DO NOT
add additional folders to the settings folder; ACR does not support
sub-folders.) Here’s what your folder will look like when you’re done:

To apply a preset to an image, do the following:

1. First, open a photo in ACR.

2. Then, click on the “Presets” tabe near the top-right.
3. To apply a preset, choose one from the list and click on it. The preset’s
settings will be applied and you can continue editing your photo.

er photo or a few pages in a social media site.
• Full chapters or the entirety of each book may not be posted or shared in private or public.

Textures:

• Product(s) can be used non-commercially (portraits/weddings/etc. are okay).

• Images processed or edited with the texture(s) may be freely shared publicly.
• Product(s) may not be shared in their un-edited form; in other words, you cannot post the
texture files anywhere online or share the files through any public or private sites. (Low-res
versions are okay for editorial purposes, such as showing how a photo was processed on a
blog post or tutorial, etc.)
