Operation
Traffic Notes: Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS): This system
consists of the provisions for guidance, control or regulation, to safe OPS of ACFT, GND vehicle and
personnel on the AD during LVP.
Preferential RWY System Operations (PRS)
During PRS the following RWY configuration will be used:
LDG/TKOF RWY 36C, 36R.
PRS operations must be used in compliance with following conditions:
When the prefered RWY is dry and tail wind component does not exceed 10KT.
When the prefered RWY is wet and tail wind component does not exceed 5KT.
When braking action for the prefered RWY is less than "Good, Good, Good", select RWY according wind.
If unable to comply with PRS for RWY 36C, 36R report this fact on first contact with ATC or 20min in
advance of ETA.
Minimum Runway Occupancy Time (MROT): Ensure standard MROT procedures.
Transponder Mode S
Select assigned transponder mode A and activate S, set to AUTO if technically AVBL;
- after LDG, continously until fully parked on stand.
- Select ACFT identification feature if AVBL, before activating transponder.
RWY Restriction
RWY 18R/36L for TKOF/LDG/Taxi to be used in following cases only:
- EMERG
- CIV/MIL coordination, considering LCN and existence of JET barrier.
After vacating RWY 18C/36C, 18L/36R, pilot must switch to GND FREQ and hold before entering TWY
M and/or G and report position without waiting for ATC instructions.

Taxi/Parking
Parking PSNs 8-15 not visible from TWR. Adhere strictly to instructions.
ACFT vacating RWY via Rapid Exit TWY (RET) has priority at intersection over ACFT taxiing on other TWYs.
ACFT on other TWYs give way to ACFT vacating RWY via RETs unless otherwise instructed.
APU
At docking stands, APU must switched off within 5min after parking.
APU is allowed to be swichted on 15min before estimated start-up.
Engine Run-up
REQ ENG test from AD authority.
The reserved ENG test zones are TWY Y and TWY G between TWY A and TWY B.

REQ for ENG test at idle PWR at stand may be approved by GND provided that the necessary safety
precautions taken by the operator of the ACFT and duration of the test does not exeed 3min.

GENERAL
Warnings
Due to mountainous terrain RWY 18C IATY ILS/DME is unusable beyond 17NM.
Possible disortion or interruption while receiving GP signals on final APCH RWY 18C.
RWY 18L ILRA LOC unusable for CAT 1 OPS:
- out of 17NM from LOC antenna, 10° right and left sides of LOC CL.
- out of 14NM from LOC antenna, both right and left sides of the LOC CL by 10°-35°.
Birds in vicinity of AD.
Speed
MAX IAS 250KT within TMA at or below FL100 (refer to RFCs).
RNAV STAR 18C/18L, 36C/36R
200KT on base leg/closing HDG to final APCH up to 12NM to touchdown.
180KT on final APCH course within 12NM to 6NM to touchdown.
160KT on final APCH course within 6NM to 4NM to touchdown.
These speeds are applied for ATC seperation purposes and are mandatory. ACFT unable to conform to
these speeds, advise ATC and state which speeds will be used.
ARRIVAL
Communication
On initial contact with TWR report callsign and RWY.
Phraseology
RNAV STAR: Cancellation of LVL restrictions will be subject to ATC clearance by the phrase:
"Open descend to... (ALT/FL)."
COM Failure:
Outside TMA:
- Follow FPL route.
- Execute relevant STAR for 3min.
- Descending 12000ft proceed to LRA VOR.
- Overhead LRA VOR descend 3000ft.
- Execute Instrument Approach Procedure and land.
Inside TMA at or above 12000ft:
- For 3min execute last ATC instruction.
- Descending 12000ft proceed to LRA VOR.
- Overhead LRA VOR descend 3000ft.
- Execute Instrument Approach Procedure and land.
Inside TMA below 12000ft at or above 3000ft:
- While descending or maintaining last assigned ALT proceed LRA VOR.
- Overhead LRA VOR descend 3000ft.
- Execute Instrument Approach Procedure and land.
- ACFT on downwind legs shall execute this procedure regardless of ALT or LVL.
Inside TMA below 3000ft:
- Proceed to relevant FAF and land.
