OBJECTIVE : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to;

1. Read and understand phrases and sentences from linear texts.
2. Enjoy the non –fiction story.
ACTIVITY : 1. Show a picture of a turtle and asks pupils to say anything about it.

Building up vocabulary ( based on the text)
1. Teacher directs pupils to read the text.( page 56)
2. Underline Words/phrases/idioms
 Examples: beach, outline of a turtle, moving slowly, excited...etc
3.Discuss the meaning of each words/idioms/phrases
