Jesus spoke in parables likewise told stories to bring about a better understanding of life's
situations, how best can you be renewed about same if not according to his laid template.
 In few words

Permit me to call this a drink, not a book (so drink responsibly)

Be renewed is born out of reflections on various life's experience and thought. It's like a
familiar drink that looks so usual because of its everyday contact but it can never be
ignored while thirsty. (cuz you would)

This drink contains chemicals (in words) that would speed up the rate of your thoughts
being renewed on various life's issues.

You're left to "buy the truth" after every sip of each page meant for a change of mindset.

The
Background
(...on life’s default)
The following conversation ensued between my younger sister and I while trying to
capture some shots via a phone camera.

Sister: Big bros, Abeg snap me before I go comot this clothes.

Brother: My phone dun die o!
Sister: Ah ah please now, my own camera no too good like that.
Brother: Am serious, my phone dun die.

She ended up using her phone which I did assist in taking shots, after series of captures
she demanded to see the shots.
I showed her and she was like,
Ah! the background no too good self,
If not the picture for make sense.

That word reechoed in my ears "The background'

What's with the background?

Permit me to ask you "What has or what is your background doing to you?"
Making you or marring you?
You are not in love with your background because it is not or has not made a good image
of you?
By default we are all entitled to a background either poor, average or rich. We are left to
our fate to decide what we desire to carve out of it. It either rubs us of a glorious future or
thumbs-up a blissful tomorrow.
You're not alone in this shoe. I know how and where it hurts, that your background be
crooked doesn't guarantee a crooked image of you.

Jabez in the Holy book had a background, but what later became of him?
Don't allow your background to put your back on the ground.
You're a building in the making not a foundation so stand upright.
Remember, out of the black pot comes the white pap.
Take charge!

What Are Your
Ingredients?
(...life’s challenges)
My favourite hair cream cost some amount (not that huge) to purchase. Anytime I'm out of
it I feel incomplete cuz it has become a part of me, there are times when I would rush out
trying to catch up with various appointments in places where my presence is needed and
discover I didn't rub it on my scalp, I would feel like leaving the place immediately back
home to get it done (that was the extent to which I cherished it).

Recently, I decided to check the ingredients of the hair cream to see what it was made of
that made me desire it on my scalp at all times of bath. I was amazed by the makeup of the
product "Petroleum jelly, Mineral oil, Sulphur, Menthol, Camphor, Lanolin, Africa Shea
butter, Benzoic Acid..."

All this ingredients made up a hair product I couldn't do without, if I pick up this ingredients
one after the other to rub on my scalp in other to get a mixture like its finished stage, I don't
think I would be able to achieve the same as the former or possibly my hair or scalp get
burnt.
This is quite similar to our walk and work in life, as we go through life a whole lot of
ingredients would make us either consciously or subconsciously. We're simply an
epitome of different ingredients while in the making of our product.

We're a makeup of ingredients we didn't or never desired for once especially the ones we
would never pray to have. We are coined out of "Pain, disappointment, failure, tears,
sorrow, success, break ups, loss, injuries, broken heart, hopes, joy, beauty...the list is
endless."
No one desires or pray for problems, infact throughout our years on earth we would never
pray to encounter one but to our greatest shock we can never do without them.

What's life without a problem, it's like a car without no premium motor spirit (petrol), it goes
nowhere and remains stagnant. We have and we would have problems simply because
there's a "provision" locked up in a "promise".

Give me this priviledge to shock you, life gets better with problems (your reaction to it is
what really matters). When next you find yourself in the middle of any problem, simply see
yourself as a product still in the making.
You're yet to be finished!
Every product has a process, likewise every process involves ingredients. Don't rush out
of your process if you want to become an attractive and patronized product.

BUY THIS TRUTH

Even our lord Jesus Christ went through various ingredients to
bring about Salvation, until he was done he never made mention
of the word “it is finished”.
So the question is “Are you finished?”
It is up to you to answer!
Problems are inevitable but suffering is optional. (according to
John Hagee in his book "Life's challenges; Your opportunities")

Wetin
You Carry?

Daddy, are you pregnant?
Look at your stomach, it's big,
What did mummy give you to eat?

The little girl asked, she was confused because of the same size of stomach her dad had
with her mum, who was expecting her second baby pretty soon.

Can both parties be pregnant?

She wondered.....

Little did she know that her father's case was different.
It was a case of "Same container different content"
But who would shed light unto this dark part of hers.

Her father's stomach was filled with alcoholic content while that of the mother is made up
of a baby. One has a generation yet unborn while the other a liquid yet unleashed.

This is similar to what we face in our everyday living, we are easily carried away by
another man's achievement or recognition not knowing we are not all pregnant with the
same set of twins, our contents are different in size, shape and look.
We are deceived by shape thinking we look alike with the same "offering" to the world. It's
a case of complete simile different metaphor.
There's something in you generations await, like the popular peak milk advert "It's in you".
Do you care to find out what's in you?
What interest you the most, what's is that passion nursed in purpose?
What can you bring to the table of life's business, have you taken thought of that idea,
what change do you think it can bring, there's greatness in every little thing you can do or
offer.
Just as the pregnancy stage takes nine months, sometimes more or less so also is your
content, it has its own stage which must be duely followed else you get a premature
achievement.
Take your time to mature.

BUY THIS TRUTH

There is something within you that is so different from
the man next door.
When you try to be somebody else, the best you can
be is a refurbished person and not the original.
Find your true self and live it to the fulfillment of your
assignment on earth.
Be covetous of your real self.
Fearfully and wonderfully made were you.

Example

I was in the classroom to take my pupils of Basic 3 their next subject for the day which was
Home Economics, as I taught on the following happened.

Home Economics can be defined as that aspect of home management that helps you to
manage your home properly. The Home is where you and I reside while Economics is the
aspect of proper resources management.

Let's take for example "Tunde stand up" he stood up, if you don't have money and...
"before I could finish my statement he hijacked the words from me"

Master! I have money, I had to reply him that I knew he had and was only citing an
example. He still didn't agree requesting I changed the statement to "if I had money
because I do". I ended up changing the example to "Tunde, if you had money" and his
response baffled me.

What a lesson I learnt, whatever you can't accept drop it immediately, I was his class
teacher but he quickly requested for something better to be said of him even in an
example that would have possibly been overlooked.

What a demand!

We easily make jest of things that the earth agree with immediately especially the
negative ones. Just as you are a function of what you eat, so you're a function of what you
speak.
The heaven likewise the earth agrees to whatever we agree with, your words are backed
up with a 'yea" and "amen" so be careful of how you speak.

You are the first prophet of yourself. It's said that the way you dress leads to your address
same goes with the way you speak.

The way you speak is the way you would be spoken of, take it or leave it. Your words in
every situation matters alot so be careful with your big mouth according to Joyce Meyer in
her book "Me and my big Mouth!"

BUY THIS TRUTH

Job in the holy book never allowed himself to be
swayed by his friends when he was asked to curse
God and die. He took charge of the situation and
managed it properly, he knew exactly what he wanted.
Learn to teach your mouth how to fast, so as to do
away with negativity, your words are effective believe
me. (they are)
Bridle your tongue. Put a bit in your mouth!

Before The
Final Whistle
(...tough people last)
I woke up one Saturday morning feeling tired, so I decided to energize myself by paying
visit to a football field close by the house. On approaching the field I heard different voices
of boys turn men with exclamations of "No! I say e no be goal, lai lai we no go gree ".(No it's
not a goal, we won't agree)

Listening to those voices alone was enough to scare me back to my house but I pulled
through. I got there and decided to run round the field twice (though it was quite long),
after all done and dusted I took a rest.

Few minutes later I heard a voice from afar call my name, what could have happened I
thought, so I stood up to respond little did I know I was being beckoned to join on the field
of play.

I did as requested and the game began, the players of our opponents were very tough
with their games, they hit anyone on their way and caused severe injuries to other
players. As I took notice of this I decided to watch myself from being injured, I hardly
attacked any player as they approached our goal post, I was very careful not to return
home in another structure than I came to the football field.

At the end of the match before the final whistle was blown, my legs didn't hit the football
(all in the name of fear) but I wasn't satisfied at all though I was saving myself from injuries.
Nothing was achieved...

Are you like that, who says life is difficult and runs away from every opportunity to get
better just because you don't want to be abused, molested or down casted?
Are you so concerned about your status that on life's field of play, you don't want to be
injured? When would you stop running away from the truth but rather face it.

Question time, before life's final whistle what would have been your achievements? What
risk would you have taken, what would be your record of failures likewise success?
It's time to start living a carefree life coz life itself doesn't care. We learn to be tough,
nothing seems to be working and perfect on this side of life; you just have to keep moving,
less you don't want to be reckoned with anything.
Since the days of John the Baptist, the violent have been taking it by force so what excuse
do you want to give.
BUY THIS TRUTH
Even your failures count, no one has a template or
record to show the number of times one would try
before achieving a thing or record success. You just
have to keep at it, keep going!
You just have to be intentional and tough with life, start
living the carefree life, life itself doesn't care!
Every success been recorded once had a failure
statistics.
Don't be scared to fail, it doesn't make you a failure.

Drink
Responsibly

unlimited, 18+)
The first time I heard the word above in an advert of a bottling company with alcoholic
contents, I felt bad for various reasons.

First, I wasn't up to the age of "18", so it made me look like a little boy who had not come of
age.

On a second note, I felt I wasn't up to the task of taking content such as that, though I don't
actually take that. I still felt incomplete within.

For various times I couldn't count, I kept hearing the same advert on airwaves (radio
stations), it made me unsatisfied not until I had passed that age with years adding up to it
and still subconsciously heard the advert on airwaves again. I felt like a king, like I had
arrived, like I'm now somebody, like I'm good to go, like...and the list of likes remains
endless.

I'm past the age of "18" and those feelings of being incomplete have left me. I struggled
out of that mentality not because I desired to start drinking but because of the psychology
I attached to those words, now I know better and still want to be better.

This is to a dear friend out there locked up in such a thought as this...

My word to you, you are and would continue to remain somebody regardless of your age.
You are the best version of yourself, you can never be limited if you believe.
Don't let peer pressure drive you into what you are not supposed to do, don't give your
heart to mediocrity.
Your age is just a number, always remember that you are priceless and unapologetically
unlimited.

Don't sell your heart to words that would only limit you and make you feel less recognized
or reckoned with.
He was called the carpenter's son but he didn't allow that bother him he knew he was
meant to build the broken spiritual bridges between us and the father. (Jesus Christ)

BUY THIS TRUTH

No one has the right to belittle you
not even your society, family or
friends.
Give your ears and heart to the
right words, as you think in your
heart so are you.
You're unapologetically
unlimited!

Government
Approved
(...sealed and stamped)
Few months after completing Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations, I
decided to teach in a nearby school before gaining admission into the University. I taught
for months and after that we were informed as teachers that the school would soon be
approved by the government as they were expecting officials for inspection the following
month.

Just as it was said, we made a lot of preparations to get the school approved from series
of information penned down on the school register to notable textbooks being bought (it
wasn't funny at all).

The officials came for the inspection and to Gods glory the school was approved. Few
days after it dawned on me as regards the level of preparation that was put in place to get
the school approved in the shortest of time.

It was then I recalled the word in the Holy book "Study to show thyself approved unto
God..."

There's a bigger and better government whose approval we need "...and the government
shall be upon his shoulder”. Your effort is required in the cause of approval, your
contribution is required, your quota is needed.
In this course of approval, consistency and determination is required. His words are new
every morning.

Are you approved by the biggest government?, Are you recognized by the Governor of all
governors, Are you recognized by the President of all presidents. (Just one prerequisite
for approval... "STUDY HIS WORD")

Put your spiritual faculty and department in place, the greatest Vice Chancellor comes!

BUY THIS TRUTH

Your spiritual tabular razar can never be empty, it
must be filled.
It's in your hands to decide what you want to fill it
with.
Study to show thyself approved a workman that
needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of
truth (2 Tim 2:15)
The first and the best approval is that of your
maker!

One Out Of
My Goat is
Missing
(...brave to save)
I finally turned into a farmer; my love for agriculture grew daily and I couldn't resist the urge
to start a small farm where I reared goats and chickens.

I had bought this particular goat (a she) from an old aged woman who couldn't take good
care of it again and reared it together with the ones I had, it gave birth to three kids and
they were good looking except for one who had a kind of skin disease I couldn't describe.

It cost me a lot to take care of its skin disease as I was getting turned off, I already thought
in my heart to sell it out to anyone who could offer the price attached to it. It was quite cost
considering the expenses I had incurred to fix it to its present state.

Nobody was coming but I kept nurturing it at least to survive but the disease grew worse.
On this faithful day just as I woke up from sleep and took thought of it, I concluded giving it
out but on getting to where it was kept I couldn't find it (where on earth could it be) I
searched every nook and cranny but to no avail.

I had to look out for it beyond the premises (but it had never seen the gates before) lo and
behold I still didn't find it. The ultimate search continued the following day and beyond (but
I should have not bothered looking for it in the first place) or what do you think at least I
wanted to give it out cuz of its skin disease.

I am still searching for it though, please would you help me out?

Jesus told the same of this story of the shepherd who had 100 and 1 got missing, he left
the 99 and went in search of just one.

I believe there are just more than one person who is far reached from you cuz of one
behavior or the other, you even desire you could wipe such personality out of the earth.

Before you take that step let me quickly remind you of first two sons of the first man and
woman (Cain and Abel), how hatred led to death.
Don't forget there is also one thing you do that makes God far reached from you but he
would never give up on you.
Renew your heart before taking that step, as for me I have found my kid back and I'm
taking good care of it than I did before.

God wants no one to perish;
you should also desire the
same for that mankind.
We were once stalked in our
foolishness before Christ
redeemed us.
He who saves is wise...

Sin Is Filled

I Have
Tasted It

Yes I have tasted it; Sin is so sweet I enjoy every bit of it. I can't go a day without it, I always
desire to commit sin, why? You may want to ask.......It's filled with Honey hmm so sweet.

The flesh can't but do without demanding for it so I feed it at anytime as long as it demands
for it, though it might be "OLIVER TWISTIC" in Nature, I would never rest in feeding it with
what it wants.

What's wrong with this Mr. Flesh self? Nothing is wrong. Sin is just simply filled with
HONEY.
Yes it's filled with HONEY

Sin is filled with HATRED..... (H)

How do you feel when you commit Sin, I guess you can answer that. You hate yourself to
the core with a deep response of your conscience "This is not me"

Are you following...?

Sin is filled with OPPRESSION.... (O)

You are totally oppressed when you commit Sin, there's no sign of peace its like one is in
total bondage. "It is always your desire to be set free"

OK let me continue

Sin is filled with NAKEDNESS.... (N)

Ask daddy Adam and Mummy Eve, they should speak better on this. It completely brings
you into shame. "You would always desire a cover"

Sin is filled with EMERGENCY..... (E)

You know those feelings of wanting to run, why? You are scared it could catch up with you
at any time, high blood pressure of guilt "The Sinner runs when no one is pursuing"
Are you with me?

Sin is filled with YELLING...... (Y)

It shouts at you at the top of its voice "Give me more". It is never satisfied.

Oh that Precious Blood that made me White as Snow. My Sins nailed you to the cross yet
it could not hold you forever.

If my Sins nailed him to the Cross and couldn't stop him from resurrecting.....It can't hold
me and never stop me from Manifesting.

I hope I have made Spiritual Sense to Somebody.

Sin is never satisfied, it
keeps asking for more.

nailed it all on the
cross!

She Gave In
Poverty
(...the widow’s mite)
I had watched her closely from the beginning of the service, she could barely raise her
legs to walk but she kept limping in joy. "Mama do good" as she is fondly called by little
children is a widow who had lost her husband and three children to a ghastly motor
accident.

The event made her restless but you could never see it written on her face unless she told
you about it. She could barely feed on a square meal, in fact she ate through people's
contributions.

What a case to study!

She walked into the service and everyone got starring at her (Isn't this woman suppose to
be resting at home) considering her condition. No!, she would never do such.

The service was at its tail end as it was time for receiving offering (offering time; blessing
time), I made up my mind to see what "Mama do good" would give as an offering. Just as I
stared, I could hear the sounds of metals (what could that be?) Coins? Who spends that in
this part of the world? She joyfully dropped it in the offering basket hmm! "Mama do good".

Just as the Presiding Pastor rounded off the service, he made the following statement...

You say to yourself "I don't have anything" but deep within you, you have something.
You have a whole lot of resources within and outside of you.

Though you feel you don't have anything, you are left with your words, you are and can
never be poor.
All you need is a know-how to access your resources.
Out of your assumed nothing, something is expected!
What would you offer when you think all is lost and you are left with nothing.

You have something to offer even if it is a
widows mite.
You are blessed beyond recognition.
It's said that from he who does not have
shall we take out and offer to those who
have (can you see you are rich)
You have something no matter the quantity
or amount.
