2 Changes in the version 2.3.0
2.1 New features
Manual regulation options in AUT mode.
A new feature of manual regulation by Speed Up/Down LBI or by Analog input in AUT mode has been
implemented. For this purpose there was added following new setpoint:

AUT SpdReq
Setpoint group Regulator Related FW 2.3.0
Range [units] Reg Bias, LBi SpdUp/Dwn, CU AI1-CU AI9, AIO: AI1 - 4 [-]
Force value
Default value Reg Bias NO
Alternative config
Step -
Comm object 13068 Related applications N/A
Config level Standard
Setpoint visibility Always
Description
The setpoint is used for selecting what regulation will be used in AUTO mode in case automatic regulation is
disabled by LBI R Reg Disable. The options are:
Reg Bias – speed request will be set according to setpoint Reg Bias, this function was standard
functionality of R Reg disable LBI in previous FW versions.
LBI SpdUp/Dwn – it is possible to regulate speed manually by LBI Speed Up/Down even in Auto
mode.
CU AI1-CU AI9, AIO: AI1 - 4 – it is possible to regulate speed manually by analog inputs even in Auto
mode

Preheating - temperature variable

A new feature for automatic preheating time adjustment based on temperature has been implemented:

ID-FLX-Lite 2.3.0 New Features List 3

LBO - Preheat
Related FW 2.3.0 Related applications N/A
Comm object N/A
Description
Activation times prior to engine start:
If measured temperature is equal to PreheatTemp1 (°C) or lower, the LBO Preheat activates prior to
the engine start for time equal to value in setpoint PreheatTime1 (s)
If measured temperature is PreheatTemp2 (°C) or higher, the LBO Preheat activates prior to the
engine start for time equal to value in setpoint PreheatTime2 (s)
If the temperature is between the values, the LBO Preheat activates for time calculated by linear
approximation

The LBO Preheat is activated before engine start as same as LBO Prestart or Preglow, the time is
defined by new setpoints (PreheatTime1/2, PreheatTemp1/2) described below.
Activation of Preheat LBO has a variable activation time based on the measured temperature - it can
be activated either before or after Prestart LBO and is deactivated during cranking.

Input for temperature measurement is selected by setpoint – PreheatSensor which is described

bellow
In case of invalid value on selected AIN, the LBO preheat will activate for time given by setpoint
PreheatTime2 = longest preheat time
