ACTION PLAN ICT DEVELOPMENT – E-LEARNING, TRACKING, & INFRASTRUCTURE SEPTEMBER 2015-JUNE 2016

Baseline (where are we now?)


 ETI conducted a whole school inspection in Feb 2014. ETI noted that ICT was an area for development.
 Infrastructure needs urgent attention – vast majority of classrooms do not have an operational interactive white board.
 Concern about the use of VLE, should this be moved to “Fronter”?; vast majority of schools are now using this platform.
 A few areas have now been identified as being in need of further development throughout the school. These include: student learning
(personalised/independence/critical thinking and analysis), staff leadership, e-learning. These will be the focus for the next two years
