Neuro OCR Based Assistive System for Visually Impaired in Text Recognition with Voice
Output.

Neuro OCR based assistive system which uses neural network for helping visually impaired people in
text recognition with voice output.

The proposed system assits the user in recognising printed text and labels with voice output.
It automatically focus the text regions from the object with the help of ultrasonic sensor, it offer a novel
text localization algorithm by learning gradient features of stroke orientations and distributions of edge
pixels using artificial neural networks.
