QUESTION & ANSWER

Q : What do you do to make students successful?
&
A : Positive encouragement (such as reading affirmations at the beginning of
class) can go a long way in terms of a student’s optimistic outlook. Rather than
pinpointing a curriculum-based reinforcement, I think positivity can take a
student further than anything by getting them comfortable with each other and
with adults. A safe and happy environment is necessary before a student can
get thoroughly interested in an academic subject.

“Make it possible for them to enjoy learning, and they’ll

keep it up.”
– Isaac Asimov
