Resolution

Scene 1

Tathlen enters a meditation trance and casts her mind through the strands of fate

Wants and Needs

Tathlen wants to be respected by the council and to defend the craftworld

Tathlen needs to organise a force to act on her visions

Setup

Tathlen approaches the Council of Seers, and explains to them her visions and the need
for the craftworld to send a force to defend Ooban
Inciting Incident

The council refuse Tathlens request. They will send scouts to keep an eye on the Ooban
situation, but they will not intervene until it becomes necessary – and by then Tathlen
thinks it will be too late.

Turn 1

Tathlen meets with her warlock’s, and decides she must act without the councils aide.

Turn 2

A meeting with the Pirate lord who will lead the scouting expedition to Ooban gives
Tathlen limited success. The Scouting force alone will be insufficient to have any real
impact on the situation. The Lord is willing to give his aide, but he wants more support in
return.

Turn 3

Tathlen confronts her mentor Talduin, and he cautions her against rash action. His
cautionary tale about his experiments trying to control the tyranids however backfires and
gives her the inspiration she needs – after all, she does not need to control them but
simply to bring them into the path of her enemy.

Climax

Tathlen relates her plan to a gathering of Exarchs, who pledge their shrines to her cause.

Resolution

The runes are cast and Tathlens twin expeditionary forces set underway.
