The mix design, batch plant calibration and all test results will be submit in
QCR.

6.2 Equipment

 2 Batching Plants. 1 is of100cum and other is of 60cum.

 3 concrete trucks.
 1 Concrete pump.
 1 crane with concrete bucket.

6.3 Term of concrete

 Concrete grade:C40
 Concrete slump: 150-200mm.

6.4 Methodology:
6.4.1 Pouring of Concrete:
 Continuous flow of concrete during the pour as to arrange an
uninterrupted "fresh in fresh" laying of the concrete batches ,so to avoid
"cold joints”.

 Tool box talk shall be conducted before start of pouring.

 Area in charge with his team delegated to supervise the job directly on
the Foundation in turn gave a similar introduction to the working staff.
 Estimated casting time =10-11 hours. Double shifts shall be active with
area incharge and QC team.

 This system allowed placing fresh on "old" concrete in a timely interval

and provided good bonding between the layers during setting time. The
initial setting time shall be 151mins. Pouring of 1st layer of 300mm will be
completed within 25min.

 In order to arrange a continuous and "fresh-in-fresh"-pouring of the

concrete a sequence of a total of 08 individual layers of concrete has
been defined: 1st layer of 300mm layer shall be poured with proper
vibrators to be used within 25mins. Before setting of 1st layer, 2nd layer
shall be poured soon after vibrator.

 1 N.O of 60cum batching plant shall be used. 1 concrete pump with

sufficient radius shall be used for concreting. Total 3 N.O Concrete transit
mixers shall be used.

 We will pour approximately 250mm Concrete as a starter for column, as

per shown in fig.

 Sufficient shuttering with scaffolding pipes and joints shall be used to bear
the lad of concrete, attached is the sketch.

 Ambulance with paramedic staff and HSE staff will be alert at site to meet
any emergency.

 During Concreting works, the concrete materials will be subject to

frequent quality tests in order to maintain the quality compliance with the
Project Specifications. Samples from the fresh concrete delivered to any
pouring point will be taken in frequency and tested to check its
compliance with the approved Mix Design and Quality Control Plan.

 Samples for conducting tests for determining the compressive strength

on concrete will be taken (a set of 6 Samples for each 100 m3) according
to the specifications.

6.5 CONCRETE TEST PROCEDURE:

 The first half of cubes is required to be crushed after 7 days counting from
date of casting.
 The next half of cubes is required to be crushed after 28 days from date of
casting.
 All Concrete pouring records & reports will be submitted to CDI in hard
copy.
 Any Non-conformance will be reported to CDI. If observe any defect of
work quality will submit a corrective action proposed to CDI for being
approved before repair work, after consultation with the designers.
 Record of temperature data, temperature of fresh concrete takes from
each truck.

7. HSE INSTRUCTIONS
 Concrete work shall be performed in accordance with relevant project
HSE instructions & HSE policy of DESCON at all temporary and
permanent works.

 All efforts shall be made to keep the environment clean.
