RESPONSE CARDS
KEEP YOUR STUDENTS RESPONDING

Response Cards
The response card strategy is a tool to keep students actively engaged and also a way for teachers to do a
quick check for understanding with their students during lessons. At any given time in a lesson, teachers will
be able to ask students a question and have them all respond as opposed to just getting a couple of
students to raise their hands for the response.
