Autobiographical Note

I was b o r n near C o r p u s C h r i s t i , Texas, on 7 t h July, 1908.


M y first n a m e , a n o b v i o u s p a l i n d r o m e , has been the b u r d e n
of the eldest or o n l y son for six generations.
I was sent to a h i g h s c h o o l in I l l i n o i s . A f t e r two years of it,
i n c l u d i n g an e x t r a o r d i n a r i l y severe w i n t e r that l a n d e d me in a
h o s p i t a l for o n e of the first m a s t o i d e c t o m i e s p e r f o r m e d as m o r e
t h a n a d a r i n g e x p e r i m e n t , I d e c i d e d that the o n e i n s o l u b l e histor-
ical p r o b l e m was w h y anyone had taken the M i d w e s t away f r o m
the Indians, a n d so I went to C a l i f o r n i a . T h e r e I entered what
everyone k n e w was the best h i g h s c h o o l in the c o u n t r y because
the e q u i p m e n t for d r a m a t i c p r o d u c t i o n s on the stage cost m o r e
t h a n had been spent for s u c h essentials elsewhere. T h e "educa-
tors" there h a d already m a d e great progress in sabotaging educa-
t i o n , so, just to have s o m e t h i n g to o c c u p y my m i n d , I began the
study o f Sanskrit, u s i n g M a x Müller's h a n d b o o k s a n d M o n i e r
W i l l i a m s ' g r a m m a r . I d i d feel the n e e d for some t u i t i o n , however,
a n d b y the m o s t e x t r a o r d i n a r y g o o d l u c k I f o u n d a H i n d u w h o
really k n e w S a n s k r i t . He was a m i s s i o n a r y w h o , a l t h o u g h he
never q u i t e a d m i t t e d as m u c h to me, h a d c o m e to the U n i t e d
States to ease the f i n a n c i a l b u r d e n s of dowagers w h o had m o r e
m o n e y t h a n they c o u l d s p e n d . H e t o l d t h e m that, w i t h p r o p e r
care a n d n o u r i s h m e n t o f their beautiful souls, they w o u l d , i n
t h e i r next i n c a r n a t i o n , c e r t a i n l y b e c o m e as lithe as, a n d c e r t a i n l y
even m o r e fetching t h a n , G r e t a G a r b o , so I am sure he gave t h e m
t h e i r m o n e y ' s w o r t h . A t this p e r i o d i n m y adolescence, I also
a m u s e d myself in my spare t i m e by g o i n g a r o u n d to w a t c h the
h o l y m e n a n d h o l i e r females p i t c h the w o o at the s i m p l e - m i n d e d ,
a n d I learned m u c h f r o m the m a n y performances I attended,
f r o m A i m e e S e m p l e M c P h e r s o n ' s shows for the masses in the
theatre called A n g e l u s T e m p l e to K a t h e r i n e T i n g l e y ' s select enter-
t a i n m e n t s for high-brow suckers on her t h e n elegant estate near
San D i e g o .

I entered P o m o n a C o l l e g e i n C l a r e m o n t , C a l i f o r n i a , w h e n I
was sixteen.

I m a r r i e d G r a c e N e e d h a m i n 1930. W h a t e v e r I m a y have
achieved, I owe entirely to the s u s t a i n i n g power t h r o u g h all subse-
q u e n t years o f a n u n f a i l i n g devotion for w h i c h I c a n n o t r a t i o n a l l y
account.

As a result of the preparations, begun in the late a u t u m n of


1929, for the election of Roosevelt in 1932, I spent several years
in a small p u b l i s h i n g business, l e a r n i n g that I was n o t destined to
b e c o m e a f i n a n c i a l giant.

I began graduate study at the U n i v e r s i t y of I l l i n o i s u n d e r


Professor W i l l i a m A b b o t t O l d f a t h e r , w h o m m a n y considered the
m o s t distinguished C l a s s i c a l P h i l o l o g i s t i n this c o u n t r y . M y first
b o o k was a parergon, a c r i t i c a l a n d annotated translation f r o m
the Sanskrit of The Little Clay Cart, p u b l i s h e d in 1938.

I received the degree of Philosophiae Doctor in 1940. I m a y


a d d that, given the great fear of "inbreeding," I am the o n l y per-
son to receive the degree in Classics at the U n i v e r s i t y of Illinois
whom the Department determined to retain permanently. I
began teaching graduate classes i m m e d i a t e l y after receiving the
degree. F o r a considerable n u m b e r of years I also gave graduate
courses in the Renaissance, w h i c h p u t me also in the D e p a r t m e n t
o f S p a n i s h a n d Italian, o f w h i c h m y g o o d friend, Professor J o h n
V a n H o r n e , was the head.

At the suggestion of a m i l i t a r y friend, I agreed, s o m e t i m e in


1941, to j o i n a secret subsidiary of the W a r D e p a r t m e n t , a n d d i d
so as soon as my academic responsibilities w o u l d permit, in 1942,
r e m a i n i n g there u n t i l the a u t u m n o f 1945, B y g o o d luck, I f o u n d
myself in charge of a r a p i d l y e x p a n d i n g department, a n d soon
advanced f r o m A n a l y s t to D i r e c t o r of Research, f i n d i n g myself
responsible for the w o r k of c. 175 persons. T h e w o r k was harrow-
ing, for various reasons, b u t extremely instructive. I learned, for
example, the u l t i m a t e secret of Pearl H a r b o r , w h i c h was evidently

u n k n o w n to A d m i r a l T h e o b a l d a n d w h i c h was not disclosed in
p r i n t u n t i l 1981 (in my America's Decline, page 7).

I returned to the U n i v e r s i t y in 1945 as an A s s i s t a n t Profes-


sor, b e c a m e an A s s o c i a t e Professor in 1947, a n d Professor in
1953. I held a G u g g e n h e i m F e l l o w s h i p in 1946—47, a n d a F u l -
b r i g h t (Italy), 1953—54. I retired as E m e r i t u s in 1977. (Two days
after my retirement, I was amazed to discover f r o m events that
t h e n began that the A d m i n i s t r a t i o n , w h i c h has hated me cor-
dially, was also sufficiently afraid of me to defer an attack on the
Department's scholarly s t a n d i n g u n t i l after m y retirement. I
d o n ' t m e a n that I h a d been able to keep it near the d i s t i n c t i o n it
h a d u n d e r O l d f a t h e r — I k n e w that c o u l d n ' t be d o n e w h e n I
resigned in disgust as d e p a r t m e n t a l office b o y — a n d t h o u g h t it
h a d sadly deteriorated; that was because I h a d n o t estimated h o w
m u c h worse things c o u l d become.)

Strange as it m u s t n o w seem, I left the D i s t r i c t of C o r r u p -


t i o n in 1945 w i t h the f i r m c o n v i c t i o n that the unbearable stench
o f that vast cesspool c o u l d n o t l o n g b e c o n f i n e d , a n d that w h e n
the facts of the C r u s a d e to Save the Soviet a n d o t h e r operations
b e c a m e k n o w n , as they i n e v i t a b l y must, the i n d i g n a t i o n of the
A m e r i c a n people w o u l d p r o d u c e a reaction o f s u c h vehemence
a n d v i o l e n c e that it c o u l d never be forgotten in h i s t o r y . T h a t c o n -
fidence was n o t shaken u n t i l 1954. In the f o l l o w i n g year, my
f r i e n d , Professor W i l l m o o r e K e n d a l l , w h o h a d l o n g desiderated a
"conservative" antidote to the New Republic, etc., a n d had h a d
a m o n g his pupils at Yale a bright and wealthy y o u n g m a n , W i l l -
iam F. Buckley, Jr., discussed w i t h me plans for the j o u r n a l ,
w h i c h was eventually called National Review a n d was then
i n t e n d e d to be a p p r o x i m a t e l y what Instauration n o w is, w i t h , how-
ever, the significant difference that Instauration was n o t able to
start w i t h the expectation of l o s i n g $ 2 , 0 0 0 a week for three years.
W h e n K e n d a l l t o l d me that he had n o t been able to f i n d a single
university professor w h o dared t o j o i n h i m i n w r i t i n g for the pro-
jected weekly, I accepted the challenge. T h a t is h o w I began to

w r i t e on p o l i t i c a l subjects. T h a t was c e r t a i n l y a grave mistake
f r o m the s t a n d p o i n t o f m y career a n d the c o m f o r t o f m y wife;
w h e t h e r it was from o t h e r standpoints, I have never q u i t e
d e c i d e d . W h a t h a p p e n e d to National Review after it began p u b l i -
c a t i o n , a n d p a r t i c u l a r l y after K e n d a l l was s h o u l d e r e d o u t by a
gang of "professionals" w h o assured y o u n g B u c k l e y that he was
the M e s s i a h , w o u l d be a l o n g a n d depressing story.

In 1958 R o b e r t W e l c h c o n v i n c e d me of his bona fides a n d


i n d u c e d m e t o j o i n i n f o u n d i n g the J o h n B i r c h Society. I have
never q u i t e been able to m a k e up my m i n d as to w h e t h e r he coz-
e n e d me from the first ( w h i c h my v a n i t y makes me reluctant to
a d m i t ) or s o l d o u t later.
In 1958 I still believed that there was a significant intellec-
tual difference between the A m e r i c a n bourgeoisie a n d the cattle
that o n e sees p e e r i n g between the slats of large trucks as they c o n -
tentedly m u n c h hay on t h e i r way to the abattoir.
S i n c e severing m y c o n n e c t i o n s w i t h the B i r c h hoax, I have
chosen to write w i t h utter frankness on the dire p l i g h t of o u r race
a n d the c i v i l i z a t i o n we created. T h e reader has been w a r n e d .

I. THE PLIGHT OF WESTERN M A N

I
T IS A G R I M A N D TERRIBLE F A C T that m o s t of the members
o f o u r o w n race have h a d t h e i r m i n d s s o d e f o r m e d b y centu-
ries of c u n n i n g Jewish p r o p a g a n d a that they have b e e n c o n -
d i t i o n e d , as effectively as well-trained dogs, to s n a r l a n d bite
w h e n t h e i r Jewish masters utter c e r t a i n key-words, s u c h as "fas-
cist," "racist," a n d the like, w h i c h take the place of the "sic ' e m "
to w h i c h dogs r e s p o n d . T h e y are, furthermore, so e m o t i o n a l l y
a d d i c t e d t o narcotic fantasies that m a n y o f t h e m are b o t h u n w i l l -
i n g a n d unable to e n d u r e the distress of l o o k i n g at the real w o r l d
a b o u t t h e m a n d t h i n k i n g r a t i o n a l l y a b o u t it. T h e y u n d e r s t a n d -
ably prefer to close tightly the eyes of t h e i r m i n d s a n d live in the
d r e a m - w o r l d of pleasurable fairy tales, s u c h as they h e a r d in the
c h i l d h o o d t o w h i c h they s u b c o n s c i o u s l y l o n g t o regress. A s
K i p l i n g neatly characterized t h e m , " I f they desire a t h i n g , they
declare it is true. If they desire it not, t h o u g h that were death
itself, they c r y a l o u d , 'It has never been!'"

It is a tragic a n d p o t e n t i a l l y disastrous fact that any c a n d i d


a n d reasonably c o m p r e h e n s i v e analysis o f o u r present p l i g h t n o t
o n l y exposes its a u t h o r to surreptitious or o p e n reprisals, b u t also
alienates m a n y m e m b e r s o f o u r b e f u d d l e d a n d perhaps d o o m e d
race, m a k i n g t h e m s n a r l a n d w a n t t o bite the m a n w h o w o u l d
m a k e t h e m face an unpleasant reality. M a n y m o r e are so t i m o -
rous that even a h i n t of disrespect for Jews sends t h e m r u n n i n g
for cover, like frightened cats, lest the Jews p u n i s h t h e m for hav-
i n g listened to i m p i o u s words.

M a n y m e m b e r s of o u r race, to be sure, secretly resent t h e i r


covert overlords a n d sometimes venture, w h e n alone w i t h trusted
friends, to m a k e jests or give other hints that, deep in t h e i r
hearts, they d o n o t venerate the Jews. A n d i f w e observe o u r c o m -
patriots, we eventually c o m e to k n o w of many, often persons of
very considerable wealth, w h o w o u l d gladly read f o r b i d d e n p u b l i -
cations, b u t do n o t dare subscribe to t h e m , n o t even t h r o u g h
post office boxes a n d u n d e r assumed names, lest the Jews dis-
cover their secret disaffection and punish them for their
thoughts. A t i n y m i n o r i t y of o u r people, it is true, m o s t c o m -
m o n l y the comparatively poor, w h o t h i n k themselves protected
by t h e i r obscurity, m o r e or less o p e n l y resent the Jewish d o m i n -
i o n and, by a n i c e irony, call themselves "anti-Semitic," thus
thoughtlessly u s i n g the nonsense w o r d that strident p r o p a g a n d a
has i m p l a n t e d in their m i n d s . S o m e have sufficiently escaped the
c o n t e m p o r a r y t h o u g h t - c o n t r o l to dare to use the w o r d A r y a n ,
w h i c h is the o n l y c o n v e n i e n t a n d a p p r o x i m a t e l y accurate designa-
t i o n of o u r race, a l t h o u g h the Jews forbid us to utter it. B u t even
these b o l d spirits are usually i l l - i n f o r m e d a n d p r o n e to strong
e m o t i o n s , sometimes seething w i t h a frustrated hatred of the
i n t e r n a t i o n a l race.

A l t h o u g h they are few in n u m b e r , the A r y a n s w h o feel real


hatred disturb the c o m p l a c e n c y of some Jews, even in this c o u n -
try, where t h e i r increasingly o p e n c o n t r o l seems absolute. A
r a b b i , for example, in his c o l u m n in the C h i c a g o Sun-Times, w h i l e
n o t d i s a v o w i n g the great Jewish hoax a b o u t the "six m i l l i o n " w h o
were supposedly exterminated by the G e r m a n s (and then crawled
i n t o the U n i t e d States), quite clearly w a r n e d his compatriots that
t h e i r clamors a b o u t a "holocaust" m i g h t give ideas to the goyim
a n d result in the o p e r a t i o n of real gas-chambers a n d in a real
purge, if the A r y a n s got out of c o n t r o l in the U n i t e d States. T h e
r a b b i is p r o b a b l y an alarmist, b u t it is true that the ever m o r e bla-

tant arrogance a n d t e r r o r i s m of the Jews is a r o u s i n g hatred in


t h e i r serfs. It may have been indiscreet of t h e m to erect a m o n u -
m e n t a l " m e n o r a h , " t h i r t y feet h i g h , i n front o f the A m e r i c a n
W h i t e H o u s e as a s y m b o l of t h e i r o w n e r s h i p at the very t i m e that
they d e n y to the c r i n g i n g A m e r i c a n s ( w h o o n c e had a c o u n t r y of
t h e i r own) the right to d i s p l a y a C h r i s t m a s tree on p u b l i c prop-
erty. A n d instead o f q u i e t l y a b a n d o n i n g the absurd hoax about
the "six m i l l i o n , " w h i c h was devised to p e p up the A r y a n cattle
they stampeded i n t o E u r o p e in 1941, a n d w h i c h has netted t h e m
m a n y b i l l i o n s o f dollars f r o m the s w i n d l e d G e r m a n s a n d m u c h
m o r e from the rest of the w o r l d , they are d e m a n d i n g that the lie
b e f o r c i b l y injected i n t o the m i n d o f every A m e r i c a n c h i l d . T h a t
is certain to increase resentment, as is, for example, t h e i r recent
attempt to m u r d e r a m a n in C h i c a g o , w h i c h , w h e n he was m e r e l y
grievously injured, they e x p l a i n e d b y c l a i m i n g they h a d m i s t a k e n
h i m for a m a n they i n t e n d e d to m u r d e r , it b e i n g assumed that
since the v i c t i m was merely an A r y a n d o g , that e x p l a n a t i o n
s h o u l d b e sufficient c o m f o r t for the other dogs. O p e n t e r r o r i s m ,
w h e t h e r v i o l e n t or pseudo-legal, arouses in some A m e r i c a n s an
i n d i g n a n t p e r c e p t i o n o f t h e i r f o r m e r l y c o n c e a l e d servitude. I a m
r e l i a b l y i n f o r m e d that a y o u n g m a n in the northeastern (and
m o s t corrupted) part of the U n i t e d States recently read Professor
A r t h u r Butz's definitive exposé o f the "six m i l l i o n " hoax[1] a n d
p r o m p t l y resigned his m e m b e r s h i p i n one of our minuscule
N a t i o n a l Socialist organizations o n the g r o u n d s that Professor
B u t z had c o n v i n c e d h i m that H i t l e r n o t o n l y d i d n o t k i l l six m i l -
l i o n Jews, b u t d i d n o t even try.

Passionate hatred of the Jews is almost certain to be futile,


for v i o l e n t e m o t i o n s prevent r a t i o n a l t h o u g h t . Berserkers are
excellent s h o c k troops, if they are u n d e r competent c o m m a n d ,
b u t i n all wars, victories are w o n b y generals w h o l u c i d l y a n d
objectively study the capacities a n d resources of the e n e m y a n d as
objectively measure t h e i r o w n .

If o u r race is ever to be liberated f r o m its present masters,


o u r i n d e p e n d e n c e w i l l n o t b e w o n b y tirades against the Jews,
w i l d d e c l a m a t i o n s a b o u t t h e i r wickedness i n serving t h e i r o w n
interests instead of ours, idle a n d tautological boasts of o u r supe-
r i o r i t y in terms of o u r o w n values, or frantic diatribes a b o u t a
"synagogue of Satan" a n d a h o p e that some supernatural p o w e r
w i l l k i n d l y do for us what we refuse to do for ourselves. We m u s t
b e g i n w i t h a r a t i o n a l u n d e r s t a n d i n g o f o u r o w n situation a n d o f
ourselves.

We must, first of all, u n d e r s t a n d that in the real w o r l d the


o n l y test of b i o l o g i c a l s u p e r i o r i t y is the a b i l i t y of a species to sur-
vive a n d extend its power, necessarily at the expense of o t h e r spe-
cies. It thus becomes i m m e d i a t e l y apparent that the i n t e r n a t i o n a l
race has very s o l i d g r o u n d s for its c o n f i d e n c e that it is vastly supe-
r i o r to all o t h e r races. Despite the o b s c u r i t y of t h e i r racial origins,
it is certain that at o n e t i m e the Jews m u s t have been a s m a l l tribe
of barbarians, p r a c t i c i n g disgusting sexual m u t i l a t i o n s a n d cus-
toms, o b s e r v i n g strange taboos, a n d otherwise r e s e m b l i n g mere
savages. B u t that seemingly despicable tribe, by arduous, i n t e l l i -
gent, a n d indefatigable w o r k for m o r e t h a n twenty-five centuries,
has, t h r o u g h its o w n efforts, made itself the m a j o r w o r l d p o w e r
today a n d is n o t far from its great objective, total o w n e r s h i p of

the entire globe. H i s t o r y provides no parallel for that stupendous


a c c o m p l i s h m e n t . It m u s t be regarded w i t h respect, even awe.
When we consider this prodigious achievement, this
a s t o u n d i n g t r i u m p h over seemingly insuperable weakness, we
m u s t recognize that it was m a d e possible o n l y by that race's cohe-
s i o n , a b i o l o g i c a l v i r t u e that I w i s h o u r race c o u l d emulate, even
t h o u g h the Jews f o r b i d us to do so. T h e Jews have w o n t h r o u g h
t h e i r intense racial consciousness a n d effective solidarity. It is
true that there have been v i o l e n t dissensions a m o n g t h e m w h e n
t h e i r leaders struggle for power, a n d that in those civil conten-
tions the various factions have often enlisted goyim against each
other, b u t their m o s t v i o l e n t l y antagonistic factions have always
been u n i t e d in an u n d e r l y i n g hatred of those goyim. W h e n , for
example, Jesus b e n S i m o n was slugging it o u t w i t h his brother,
O n i a s , for the h i g h p r i e s t h o o d in Jerusalem, the capital of t h e i r
u b i q u i t o u s race, b o t h tried to m a k e use of the g u l l i b l e Seleucids,
but there can be no d o u b t that each regarded the s t u p i d goyim as
mere tools, to be b r o k e n a n d discarded w h e n they h a d served
t h e i r purpose. T h e r e is still today a certain tension between the
avowed Z i o n i s t s a n d a m i n o r i t y of Jews w h o prefer to exploit the
subject races t r a n q u i l l y , a n d w h o fear that too b l a t a n t assertions
of Jewish s u p e r i o r i t y may m a k e the goyim react, b u t it is a dispute
over means, n o t ends, a n d it is n o t e w o r t h y that the m i n o r i t y is
r a p i d l y d w i n d l i n g as the craven s u b m i s s i o n of A r y a n s to even
s u c h flagrant outrages a s the b o m b i n g a n d strafing o f the U . S . S .
Liberty gives assurance that the beasts of b u r d e n can always be
harnessed to w o r k for their masters, no matter h o w m u c h they
m a y be beaten a n d k i c k e d .
T h i s v i r t u a l l y perfect c o h e s i o n , by the way, m u s t in large
measure a c c o u n t for the intellectual s u p e r i o r i t y of w h i c h the Jews
boast a n d w h i c h , I fear, we m u s t concede w h e n we c o n s i d e r the
race as a whole, a l t h o u g h it is d e n i e d by m a n y of o u r people, w h o

p e r s o n a l l y o n l y k n o w Jews w h o , apart from their u n d o u b t e d clev-


erness i n m a k i n g m o n e y out o f the natives, seem s t u p i d , o r w h o
ingratiate themselves w i t h the A r y a n s a m o n g w h o m they have
chosen t o reside b y b l a n d l y professing p a r t i c i p a t i o n i n o u r c u l -
ture (and I do n o t mean that all s u c h professions are necessarily
hypocritical). But, for all practical purposes, the race is today, as
Josephus boasted it was in his time, a unit, a n d it is s o m e h o w
very ably directed in its p r e d a t o r y operations against o t h e r races.
H o w m u c h o f this h i g h l y intelligent strategy i s instinctive a n d
h o w m u c h is p l a n n e d by a supreme c o m m a n d , I shall n o t try to
determine; the available evidence is c o n f l i c t i n g a n d n o t c o n c l u -
sive.

T h e racial s o l i d a r i t y of the Jews, furthermore, includes s u c h


c o m p l e t e s u b o r d i n a t i o n of the i n d i v i d u a l to the race, whenever
the welfare of the race is c o n c e r n e d , that it suggests an hyperboli-
cal c o m p a r i s o n w i t h the social organization of certain insects,
especially some species of ants a n d bees, in w h i c h the i n d i v i d u a l
is v i r t u a l l y a tentacle of a large organism, a n d it also r e m i n d s o n e
of R o d e r i c k Seidenberg's hope, expressed in his Post-Historic Man
a n d Anatomy of the Future ( C h a p e l H i l l , 1950 & 1961), that all
h u m a n species (except the "administrators," i.e., Jews) can be
r e d u c e d to m i n d l e s s a u t o m a t a that operate by reflexes w i t h o u t
t h o u g h t or consciousness, like cockroaches, for example. T h e s e
c o m p a r i s o n s are, of course, extravagant, b u t may n o t be entirely
irrelevant. A m o s t impressive example of this racial s o l i d a r i t y is
the fact that, as was revealed by a Jew w h o resided in G e r m a n y , J.
G. B u r g (Schuld und Schicksal, M u n i c h , 1962, w i t h p h o t o g r a p h s of
c o r r o b o r a t i n g documents), the Zionists, after the election of an
i n d e p e n d e n t G e r m a n g o v e r n m e n t u n d e r H i t l e r , tried to incite
p o g r o m s a n d large-scale massacres of the Jews in G e r m a n y for the
p u r p o s e o f facilitating t h e s t a m p e d i n g o f A r y a n cattle from B r i t -
ain a n d the U n i t e d States to p u n i s h the G e r m a n s for t r y i n g to

have a c o u n t r y of t h e i r o w n . T h e G e r m a n s refused to be i n c i t e d
a n d the Jewish efforts to p r o c u r e pogroms were unsuccessful, so
it was necessary for t h e m to start the desired w a r in o t h e r ways,
a n d after that war, to devise the "holocaust" hoax. T h e remark-
able t h i n g is that, so far as I k n o w , no Jews anywhere (except
Burg) seem at all offended by W e i z m a n n ' s a d m i s s i o n that he
t h o u g h t the " a n n i h i l a t i o n of the Jews in G e r m a n y " a s m a l l price
to pay for a Jewish seizure of Palestine. T h i s is really remarkable
in a race so c o n s c i o u s of its s o l i d a r i t y a n d superiority. It is true, of
course, that the B r i t i s h a n d A m e r i c a n s k n o w that their great W a r
C r i m i n a l s , C h u r c h i l l a n d Roosevelt, deliberately c o n t r i v e d the
d e a t h o f m a n y thousands o f E n g l i s h m e n a n d A m e r i c a n s t o please
t h e i r Jewish masters a n d get the C r u s a d e A g a i n s t W e s t e r n C i v i l i -
zation u n d e r way, a n d s h o w n o resentment o f s u c h b l o o d y trea-
s o n , b u t they are A r y a n s , w h o have been so cowed that they seem
to accept t h e i r status as an i n f e r i o r a n d expendable species. B u t
w h e n Jews accept a proposal to massacre large n u m b e r s of t h e i r
o w n people for the benefit of their race, that is significant.

If we are to be r a t i o n a l , the racial s o l i d a r i t y of the Jews forces


o n u s a most h u m i l i a t i n g confession o f o u r o w n inferiority. O u r
i m p a s s i o n e d "anti-Semites" depict the Jews as n o t o n l y v u l g a r a n d
barbarous (i.e., w i t h m a n n e r s that we so consider), b u t also as
treacherous a n d greedy; but, as a matter of fact, we c a n n o t i d e n -
tify w i t h c o n f i d e n c e a single Jew w h o betrayed his race for profit
o r any other c o n s i d e r a t i o n , w h i l e we k n o w that most A r y a n s w i l l
cheerfully betray t h e i r race for a few h u n d r e d dollars — say, five
h u n d r e d , to a l l o w for h i g h ideals — or even for a pat on the head
a n d a prospect o f future profit. T h e n u m b e r o f A r y a n s w h o have

T h e y were just A r y a n curs, after all, a n d therefore o b v i o u s l y


expendable. To s u c h self-imposed debasement o u r race has come,
a n d it is not, perhaps, remarkable that A r y a n s e m p l o y e d by the
Jews in the press a n d television gladly coöperate in the offensive
against t h e i r o w n n a t i o n a n d race in return for the salary p a i d
t h e m a n d the approval o f t h e i r masters.

In sharp a n d terrible contrast to o u r race's s u i c i d a l m a n i a ,


the Jews c o u l d legitimately boast that no Jew has ever k n o w i n g l y
betrayed his race. It is true that they do n o t avail themselves of
that p r o o f o f superiority, b u t instead w a i l about betrayals, b u t
that so corresponds to the standard a n d inveterate Jewish tech-
n i q u e of m a k i n g themselves seem "persecuted" that o n e is
i n c l i n e d to question every instance of supposed "betrayal" that
they adduce.

O n e hears m o s t often Jewish execration of Pfefferkorn, the


Jew w h o , h a v i n g had h i m s e l f s p r i n k l e d w i t h the C h r i s t i a n s '
magic water, became a D o m i n i c a n a n d disclosed to the goyim
some o f t h e contents o f the B a b y l o n i a n T a l m u d . N o o n e can n o w
ascertain w h a t was i n Pfefferkorn's m i n d , b u t i f w e view h i m his-
torically, it is o b v i o u s that he, k n o w i n g l y or unwittingly, played a
very i m p o r t a n t a n d possibly c r u c i a l rôle in i n c i t i n g the great reli-
gious schism i n E u r o p e i n the early S i x t e e n t h C e n t u r y a n d thus
p e r f o r m e d a great service for his compatriots, i n c i t i n g the goyim
to b u t c h e r o n e a n o t h e r for centuries a n d to devastate t h e i r o w n
countries, to the great profit, as well as the s p i r i t u a l satisfaction,

T h e Jews speak bitterly o f H e n r y K l e i n , a Jewish attorney


w h o , d u r i n g the premature Jewish T e r r o r i n the U n i t e d States i n
1944, d i d n o t betray his A m e r i c a n clients, as a g o o d Jewish lawyer
s h o u l d , b u t defended t h e m before the Jewish Federal judge w h o
h a d been a p p o i n t e d b y o u r great W a r C r i m i n a l t o destroy t h e m

a n d thus terrorize all A m e r i c a n curs w h o dared n o t to lick the


boots of their masters. T h e Jews so persecuted K l e i n that he
d e n o u n c e d the Zionists (e.g., in his b o o k l e t , Zionism Rules the
World,[2] w h i c h he had p r i n t e d at his o w n expense in 1955) before
he was h o u n d e d to s u i c i d e . But, nota bene, he d e n o u n c e d the
Zionists, not his o w n race, a n d it is o n l y reasonable to believe that
he, however mistakenly, believed that he was p r o t e c t i n g his c o m -
patriots in the U n i t e d States, n o t h a r m i n g t h e m . It m u s t be
r e m e m b e r e d that even in 1944, the A m e r i c a n s were not so pros-
trate a n d cowed as they n o w are. In 1939—40, for example, it was
possible for an A m e r i c a n , Paul Beshers, w h o h a d enjoyed a b r i e f
season of p o l i t i c a l p r o m i n e n c e a few years before, to assure his
Jewish friends, " I f y o u drive us into a w a r against G e r m a n y , it w i l l
n o t be l o n g before A m e r i c a n s are s h o o t i n g Jews on M i c h i g a n
A v e n u e [in C h i c a g o ] w i t h o u t a h u n t i n g license." S o m e Jews were
(he says) impressed by that p r e d i c t i o n in 1940, a n d quite a few
w e l l - i n f o r m e d A m e r i c a n s , i n c l u d i n g officers in the a r m e d ser-
vices' intelligence corps, d u r i n g the w a r of 1941—45, expected very
drastic reprisals against the Jews after that war. It is against s u c h a
b a c k g r o u n d that K l e i n ' s supposed "betrayal" of his race m u s t be
understood.

T h e majority of Jews hate B e n j a m i n F r e e d m a n , w h o q u o t e d


a few w e l l - k n o w n passages in the T a l m u d a n d o t h e r Jewish writ-
ings that the l o w l y goyim s h o u l d not be p e r m i t t e d to see in his
b o o k s Facts Are Facts a n d The Hidden Tyranny.[3] F r e e d m a n , u n l i k e

w o r k e d themselves up to p o s i t i o n s of power in the various C h r i s -


tian churches d u r i n g the M i d d l e A g e s a n d i n t h e t i m e o f the Ref-
ormation and Counter-Reformation, incurred the v e n o m o u s
hatred of m a n y Jews. W h e n I met h i m m a n y years ago, he t o l d
me — I assume t r u t h f u l l y — that w h e n he a n d his wife were in an
elevator o f t h e very expensive a p a r t m e n t b u i l d i n g i n N e w Y o r k
C i t y in w h i c h he then lived, a n d the very r i c h Jews w h o lived in
the same b u i l d i n g entered the same elevator, they w o u l d spit all
over his a n d his wife's c l o t h i n g to s h o w their disapproval by a typ-
ical Jewish gesture. F r e e d m a n , however, d i d n o t i n t e n d to betray
his race; on the contrary, he was c o n v i n c e d (it seems, mistakenly)
that he was racially a real Jew, whereas most Jews were T u r k o -
M o n g o l i a n s w h o had disguised themselves as Jews a n d c u n n i n g l y
c o m e to d o m i n a t e the Jewish race, w h i c h he c e r t a i n l y d i d not
i n t e n d to depreciate, m u c h less betray. On the contrary, he imag-
i n e d that he was, at great self-sacrifice, protecting his o w n people
f r o m the reprisals that m i g h t someday fall u p o n t h e m .

T h e clearest example of the betrayal of the Jews by a Jew


w o u l d be the famous "Protocols of the E l d e r s of Z i o n , " if, as is
m a i n t a i n e d in some accounts of t h e i r p u b l i c a t i o n , that d o c u -
m e n t was s o l d by a Jew to the Russian intelligence services for a
fee. T h e Jews, however, vociferously c l a i m that the "Protocols" are
a forgery. T h i s allegation was l o n g accepted, on the g r o u n d s that
it was extremely u n l i k e l y that Jews w o u l d rashly put in w r i t i n g so
candid a statement of t h e i r purposes, a n d it was generally
believed that the d o c u m e n t was forged by a w h i t e m a n w h o h a d a
p h e n o m e n a l k n o w l e d g e of the Jews a n d an a s t o u n d i n g ability to
predict w h a t they w o u l d do in subsequent decades. Recent exhi-
b i t i o n s o f Jewish arrogance a n d c o n t e m p t for the A r y a n m e n t a l -
ity suggest, however, a r e c o n s i d e r a t i o n of the p r o b l e m . It may be
d o u b t e d w h e t h e r any m a n of o u r race c o u l d have so perfectly
anticipated a n d described in the last years of the N i n e t e e n t h

C e n t u r y the policies that the Jews p u t i n t o effect in the T w e n t i -


eth, d o w n to the present time. But however that may be, we can-
n o t regard the "Protocols" as p r o o f that a Jew betrayed his o w n
race.

Jews often d e n o u n c e as a "traitor" B e n j a m i n D ' I s r a e l i , w h o ,


in his Coningsby (1844) a n d m a n y speeches a n d b o o k s d o w n to
his Endymion (1880), c a n d i d l y t o l d the B r i t i s h that the o n l y real
issue was that of race a n d further t o l d them that all the govern-
ments of E u r o p e were really c o n t r o l l e d by Jews, w h o operated
b e h i n d the scenes a n d dictated the policies of the ostensible r u l -
ers, w h e t h e r m o n a r c h s or elected officials. S o m e of o u r people,
i n c l u d i n g the late D o u g l a s Reed in his p o s t h u m o u s Controversy of
Zion, t h i n k that D'Israeli was t r y i n g to w a r n the B r i t i s h about the
p o w e r a n d purposes of "Zionists." I do not profess to k n o w what
was in D'Israeli's m i n d — I w o u l d not presume to guess that, even
if he had been a m e m b e r of o u r race, instead of b e l o n g i n g to a
race whose m e n t a l i t y is so different from o u r o w n that we can
o n l y make conjectures about its processes — b u t I observe that he
c o u l d have issued the supposed "warnings" w i t h the assurance
that the A n g l o - S a x o n s were too s t u p i d to understand t h e m , a n d
that his p r o n o u n c e m e n t s on that subject, like his u n c o n v e n t i o n a l
b e h a v i o r a n d garish c l o t h i n g , served so to advertise h i m that he
attained p o l i t i c a l power in B r i t a i n , became the first a d m i t t e d l y
alien P r i m e M i n i s t e r of the B r i t i s h E m p i r e a n d the first undis-
guised Jew to enter the H o u s e of L o r d s as the E a r l of Beacons-
field. In 1858, Lord Harrington, commenting on the
i n t e r n a t i o n a l race's parasitic p l u n d e r i n g o f all n a t i o n s t h r o u g h
i n t e r n a t i o n a l finance, c o n t r o l of the press, a n d r e v o l u t i o n a r y agi-
t a t i o n , p o i n t e d out that Jews acquire "citizenship" in a n a t i o n
o n l y to sabotage it. He was s u p p o r t e d by L o r d G a l l o w a y , w h o
r e m a r k e d that if Jewish subversion of G r e a t B r i t a i n were not
checked, the t i m e m i g h t c o m e w h e n a c o r r u p t P r i m e M i n i s t e r

c o u l d be b r i b e d to have a title of B r i t i s h n o b i l i t y conferred on


o n e of the aliens. T e n years later, D ' I s r a e l i became the P r i m e
M i n i s t e r of the B r i t i s h E m p i r e , a n d in 1876, he became the E a r l
of Beaconsfield, w h i l e Jews t h r o u g h o u t the w o r l d snickered at
a n o t h e r p r o o f that goyim never learn.

H o w great was the c o r r o s i o n of E n g l i s h character in those


years may be estimated f r o m a single d a t u m . O n e of the foremost
B r i t i s h novelists, L o u i s e R a m é e ( " O u i d a " ) , in her Strathmore
(1865), casually m e n t i o n e d in a descriptive passage "the vampires
of Israel, w h o , like their forefather a n d first usurer, Jacob, k n o w
w e l l h o w to deal w i t h the famished, a n d sell us o u r mess of pot-
tage at no smaller price than o u r b i r t h r i g h t . " No o n e was per-
t u r b e d by her passing reference to w h a t everyone knew, b u t less
than a c e n t u r y later s u c h a reference by a novelist w o u l d have
been s u i c i d a l audacity. H e r publishers w o u l d have been at o n c e
d r i v e n i n t o b a n k r u p t c y ; her b o o k , however praiseworthy for its
literary qualities, w o u l d not have been mentioned by any
reviewer; she w o u l d have been defamed in all the newspapers as a
" N a z i " ; a n d all well-trained E n g l i s h nitwits w o u l d have s h r u n k i n
l o a t h i n g f r o m the c o n t a m i n a t i o n o f her presence. T h e A n g l o - S a x -
ons n o t o n l y cower before the Jewish Terror, b u t p r i d e themselves
o n t h e i r servitude.

It is n o t a mere c o i n c i d e n c e that Strathmore was p u b l i s h e d


three years before a Jew became the Q u e e n ' s P r i m e M i n i s t e r , thus
c l i m a x i n g a p r o l o n g e d a n d patient subversion of the u p p e r
classes by usury, bribes, a n d the t e c h n i q u e of m a r r y i n g Jewesses
w i t h large dowries to the sons of avaricious n o b l e m e n or m e m -
bers o f t h e l a n d e d gentry.

T h e Jews c o m p l a i n bitterly o f certain m e m b e r s o f their tribe


w h o p u b l i s h e d in the U n i t e d States in the 1930s indiscreetly can-
d i d c o m m e n t s on the innate differences between Jews a n d o u r

race. T h e worst offender was p r o b a b l y S a m u e l R o t h , w h o , h a v i n g


been repeatedly s w i n d l e d by Jews a n d t o l d that he must suffer in
silence for the sake of racial solidarity, p u b l i s h e d his Jews Must
Live[4] in 1934, w r i t i n g in "an agony of spirit" to describe c o n d u c t
a n d habits that were, in any case, apparent to any careful observer
of w h a t a n o t h e r Jew boastfully called the " n a t i o n w i t h i n " the
U n i t e d States. I do n o t question Roth's sincerity, b u t d i d his
c o m m e n t on "the hideous swamp the Jews have m a d e of W e s t e r n
C i v i l i z a t i o n " i m p a i r the p o w e r of the u b i q u i t o u s tribe f r o m
w h i c h he defected? T h e answer is o b v i o u s . T w o years before R o t h
wrote, the G e r m a n people, on w h o m the Jews had fed for centu-
ries before D'Israeli specifically n o t e d that, whatever the s t u p i d
G e r m a n s m i g h t imagine, their n a t i o n was really governed by Jew-
i s h financiers, m a d e a courageous effort to acquire c o n t r o l of
their own country and become an independent nation. T h e
result we all k n o w . T h e Jews, t h r o u g h their c o n t r o l of the press
a n d o f n u m e r o u s hirelings, o f w h o m W i n s t o n C h u r c h i l l a n d
F r a n k l i n Roosevelt are merely the most loathsome specimens,
stampeded great hordes of crazed A r y a n s f r o m B r i t a i n , France,

ANCIENT ALEXANDRIA

In the early years of o u r era, the Jews were then (as now)
b u s y s e l l i n g r e l i g i o n a n d r e v o l u t i o n to the natives, a n d that is
u n d o u b t e d l y what the E m p e r o r C l a u d i u s meant in 41 A.D.
w h e n , in his letter of w a r n i n g to the Jews in Egypt (preserved in a
papyrus n o w in the B r i t i s h M u s e u m , P. Lond. 1912), he described
t h e m as "the fomenters of a universal plague."

C l a u d i u s ' phrase i s t h e best d e s c r i p t i o n o f t h e b i o l o g i c a l l y


i n n a t e nature of Jews that I have seen. I h o p e this does n o t startle
y o u ; if it does, I r e c o m m e n d a little objective o b s e r v a t i o n of Jews
engaged in collective a c t i o n .

T h e p u b l i c a t i o n o f these papyri i n t h e B r i t i s h M u s e u m
stopped w i t h V o l u m e V , just short o f t h e g r o u p o f p a p y r i , begin-
n i n g w i t h #1912, that deal w i t h Jews a n d C h r i s t i a n s in Egypt.
T h e s e , however, were edited i n a separate v o l u m e b y H. Idris B e l l ,
L o n d o n , 1924, w h i c h can b e f o u n d u n d e r his n a m e i n any g o o d
library. W h y the o f f i c i a l series stopped where it d i d (and has
never been c o n t i n u e d ) , I do n o t k n o w . O n e suspects there was a
Jew in the w o o d p i l e ,

P. L o n d . 1912 is a l o n g papyrus fragment excellently pre-


served. It is a private c o p y of an edict by C l a u d i u s that was posted
in p u b l i c places in A l e x a n d r i a in 41 A.D. a n d is complete. It is in
G r e e k , not L a t i n , because in E g y p t every literate person (Greeks,
Jews, Egyptians, a n d the c o m p a r a t i v e l y few R o m a n s w h o were
there as governors a n d m i l i t a r y c o m m a n d e r s ) k n e w G r e e k ,
whereas o n l y the R o m a n officials k n e w Latin at a l l . B e l l believes
that o u r G r e e k text was translated f r o m C l a u d i u s ' s L a t i n , b u t I
am certain that the text is what C l a u d i u s h i m s e l f dictated to a
secretary i n G r e e k . L i k e every educated R o m a n o f his day, C l a u -

d i u s spoke a n d wrote G r e e k fluently, a n d f u r t h e r m o r e he was


s o m e t h i n g of a scholar a n d wrote his two m a j o r historical works
( n o w lost) in G r e e k . T h i s G r e e k text c o n t a i n s stylistic p e c u l i a r i -
ties that are characteristic of C l a u d i u s ' s mentality, b u t w o u l d
p r o b a b l y have been s m o o t h e d away by a translator.

C l a u d i u s , w h o was b o r n in 10 B . C . , was the son of the m a l e


c h i l d w i t h w h o m L i v i a was pregnant at the time that A u g u s t u s
m a r r i e d her. If that c h i l d was legitimate, it was the son of L i v i a ' s

If the c h i l d was illegitimate, as m a n y suspected, A u g u s t u s was
p r o b a b l y the father, but never acknowledged the paternity. C l a u -
dius's m o t h e r was t h e daughter o f M a r k A n t o n y . C l a u d i u s i n
i n f a n c y suffered from p o l i o m y e l i t i s or a s i m i l a r disease that left
h i m w i t h a partly paralysed foot, some i m p e d i m e n t in his speech,
a n d muscles of the face a n d n e c k subject to spastic c o n t r a c t i o n s .
Regarded as unfit for p u b l i c life, he devoted h i m s e l f to historical
a n d a n t i q u a r i a n studies, b e c o m i n g b o t h erudite a n d pedantic.
H e was quite intelligent, b u t t i m o r o u s , excitable, a n d g u l l i b l e ,
especially toward persons w h o showed h i m some attention a n d
professed f r i e n d s h i p d u r i n g the first fifty-one years of his life,
w h e n he was regarded as an awkward a n d r i d i c u l o u s p o l i t i c a l n u l -
lity, t h e b u t t o f his n e p h e w C a l i g u l a ' s wit. A m o n g those w h o thus
a c q u i r e d his gratitude a n d c o n f i d e n c e were a n u m b e r of clever
Jews o f great w e a l t h a n d i n f l u e n c e i n R o m e . A m o n g these was
M a r c u s Julius A g r i p p a (note the purely R o m a n name; a g r a n d s o n
o f t h e H e r o d w h o appears i n m a n y versions o f t h e C h r i s t story),
w h o , w h e n the b a r b a r i a n mercenaries rioted after the assassina-
t i o n o f C a l i g u l a a n d , w h i l e p l u n d e r i n g t h e palace, f o u n d o l d
C l a u d i u s h i d i n g in a closet a n d dragged h i m out to p r o c l a i m h i m
emperor, by subtle a n d crafty m a c h i n a t i o n s a n d b r i b e r y managed
to get C l a u d i u s installed a n d recognized as e m p e r o r by the Sen-
ate. C l a u d i u s rewarded h i m generously, a n d was always u n d e r the

i n f l u e n c e of the p r o m i n e n t Jews in R o m e . T h a t is what makes his


p r o n o u n c e m e n t so significant.

A l e x a n d r i a was, o f course, f o u n d e d b y A l e x a n d e r t h e G r e a t
as a G r e e k city in c o n q u e r e d Egypt, a n d it became u n d e r his
G r e e k successors, the Ptolemies, the capital of that country. Its
p o s i t i o n as the o n l y real h a r b o u r in Egypt added to its great pros-
perity, a n d n a t u r a l l y Jews came streaming in from t h e i r colonies
all over t h e c i v i l i z e d w o r l d . A l e x a n d r i a became t h e N e w Y o r k o f
the a n c i e n t w o r l d , i.e., the largest Jewish city. T h e Jews t o o k over
two of the five quarters of the city for their ghettoes, from w h i c h
they u n o f f i c i a l l y b u t effectively excluded w h i t e people, b u t natu-
r a l l y insisted o n p u s h i n g t h e i r way i n t o all t h e o t h e r quarters o f
t h e city a n d m a k i n g themselves o b n o x i o u s i n their n o r m a l ways.
Jews always betray the c o u n t r i e s in w h i c h they are feeding on the
natives, so naturally, w h e n A u g u s t u s attacked Egypt, the Jews nat-
u r a l l y betrayed t h e G r e e k s , w h o r e m a i n e d loyal t o C l e o p a t r a , t h e
last of the Ptolemies. A u g u s t u s p u n i s h e d the G r e e k s for their loy-
alty b y d e p r i v i n g them o f t h e i r local self-government, and
rewarded the Jews for their treason w i t h m a n y special privileges,
i n c l u d i n g the right to have a k i n d of Jewish g o v e r n m e n t of t h e i r
own.

T h e Jews, n o w r i d i n g h i g h , n a t u r a l l y p u s h e d t h e G r e e k s
a r o u n d m o r e t h a n ever, t h r u s t i n g themselves i n t o the gymnasia
a n d other G r e e k institutions t h a t were t r a d i t i o n a l l y for G r e e k s
o n l y a n d i n c i t i n g riots w h e n e v e r they were so "persecuted" that
the G r e e k s d i d not recognize t h e m as a vastly s u p e r i o r race. T h e
result was an endless series o f civil disturbances that the R o m a n s
were powerless to prevent because no government dared to
revoke A u g u s t u s ' s grant of special privileges to the Jews. In the
s e c o n d year after C l a u d i u s b e c a m e emperor, there was a n o t h e r
o n e o f the p e r e n n i a l riots in A l e x a n d r i a that became v i r t u a l civil

world.

T h e G r e e k s o f A l e x a n d r i a despatched a n embassy o f t h e i r
l e a d i n g citizens t o C l a u d i u s t o request restoration o f t h e i r local
g o v e r n m e n t a n d explain the cause of the riots, a n d the Jews, of
course, sent an embassy of t h e i r o w n to snivel a n d w h i n e about
b e i n g "persecuted" by the w i c k e d goyim.

T h e edict of C l a u d i u s of w h i c h the papyrus is a c o p y is


addressed t o t h e G r e e k s o f A l e x a n d r i a a n d a n n o u n c e s his deci-
s i o n c o n c e r n i n g the requests m a d e by t h e i r envoys.

T h e r e is (1) a p r e a m b l e by the R o m a n prefect w h o had cop-


ies of the edict displayed in p u b l i c places, (2) a section l i s t i n g the
titles of C l a u d i u s a n d the names of the G r e e k envoys, (3) permis-
s i o n to h o l d p u b l i c celebrations of Claudiuses b i r t h d a y a n d to
erect statues in his h o n o r , etc., (4) c o n f i r m a t i o n of the G r e e k s '
r i g h t to have a G r e e k e d u c a t i o n a l system qualifying t h e m for
A l e x a n d r i a n citizenship, (5) g r a n t i n g requested changes in the
a p p o i n t m e n t s to certain temple offices a n d other m i n o r offices,
(6) a p r o m i s e to take u n d e r advisement the G r e e k s ' request for a
restoration of their local g o v e r n m e n t ( C l a u d i u s never granted
that: the Jews w o u l d have h a d fits if so "persecuted"), a n d , (7) a
p r o n o u n c e m e n t a b o u t the recent riots a n d a w a r n i n g against rep-

T h i s m u s t have been translated i n t o E n g l i s h at least once,


but I do n o t k n o w where s u c h a t r a n s l a t i o n has been p u b l i s h e d ,
so, to save time, I w i l l translate here. W o r d s w i t h i n parentheses

As for who were responsible for the outbreak and insurrection,


or rather, if we must designate it correctly, for the wars against the
Jews, although your envoys and especially Dionysius son of Theon dis-
tinguished themselves in argument when confronted with their (Jew-
ish) adversaries, I nevertheless decided not to investigate the matter
thoroughly, and I entered in the ledgers of my mind a ruthless indig-
nation against whichever people recommences hostilities; I now
emphatically give warning that if the two peoples do not desist from
their disastrous and contumacious hatred of one another, I shall be
compelled to show what a benevolent ruler can be when he is roused
to righteous anger. Therefore, I now most solemnly conjure the Alex-
andrians to behave with forbearance and kindness toward the Jews
who have for a long time lived in the same city, and not to obstruct
any of their customary rites in the cult of their god, but to permit
them to observe the customs they followed in the time of the Divine
Augustus, which I now sanction, after hearing both sides of the case.
On the other hand, I now order the Jews not to agitate for more priv-
ileges than those they have long enjoyed, and not again to have the

unprecedented insolence of sending out their own ambassadors as


though they were living in a separate state, and furthermore (I order
them) not to force their way into the games and contests held by the
gymnasiarchs and cosmetae (officers who presided over the physical
and intellectual education of Greek youths and held exhibitions that
were open only to citizens of Alexandria) while they (the Jews) reap
the profits of their own special privileges[5] and, living in a city that is
not their own, enjoy all the bountiful advantages of that city; further-
more (I order the Jews) not to import or bring in (i.e., into Alexan-
dria) by ship Jews from Asia Minor or Egypt (from which Alexandria
was administratively separated), a procedure which must necessarily
excite in me the gravest suspicions. Otherwise (i.e., if the Jews do not
obey), I will by all means take vengeance on them as being the
fomenters of what is a universal plague throughout the civilized
world.

If both peoples, desisting from these practices, are willing to live


together with tolerance and kindness toward one another, I, for my
part, will show the utmost concern for the prosperity of the city (Alex-
andria) as being one joined to us in friendship from the time of our
ancestors.

I assure you that my friend, (Tiberius Claudius) Barbillus (one of


the six Roman citizens among the twelve envoys from Alexandria),
has always shown solicitude for your welfare whenever he appeared
before me, and he now championed your cause with great zeal and
distinction, and the same goes for my friend, Tiberius Claudius
Archibius (another one of the envoys). Farewell.

5. Alexandrian citizens paid heavy local taxes and additional taxes were
levied on residents (including Egyptian natives) who were not citizens,
but, as we now learn from a papyrus in Berlin (#8877), one of the priv-
ileges of which the Jews boasted was exemption from all such taxes.
Naturally, they did not want to become citizens of the city!

T h e few A r y a n s w h o dare to criticize the Jews are w o n t to


wax i n d i g n a n t over t h e m e t h o d s b y w h i c h t h e aliens acquire c o n -
t r o l , w h i c h , to be sure, are i m m o r a l a c c o r d i n g to o u r o w n
accepted standards o f c i v i l b e h a v i o r w i t h i n o n e o f o u r o w n societ-
ies. B u t let us be fair a n d , what is m o r e i m p o r t a n t , objective.

T h e survival of the fittest always has been, a n d always w i l l


be, the i m m u t a b l e law of life on this planet. M a m m a l s that do
not d e p e n d on sheer fecundity to preserve their k i n d (e.g., rab-
bits, l e m m i n g s ) have but two resources in themselves: strength
and stealth, the latter c o m p e n s a t i n g for deficiencies in the
former. E v e n the m a l e l i o n , w h o m we have taken as the s y m b o l of
courage, depends for m u c h of his sustenance on prey that his
females take by l e a p i n g from a m b u s h . T h e e l e p h a n t is a n o b l e
a n i m a l a n d a s y m b o l of strength, b u t he falls prey to the c u n n i n g
of weaker species, s u c h as tigers a n d m e n .

It is a p e c u l i a r i t y of o u r race — a n d o n e that the Jews regard


as especially c h i l d i s h a n d fatuous — that we have an ideal of vic-
t o r y o b t a i n e d o n l y in a fair fight. O u r racial m e n t a l i t y is d o m i -
nated by the sentiment that finds expression in o u r cherished
p i c t u r e o f M e d i a e v a l knights, equally m a t c h e d , m e e t i n g i n t h e
lists o r i n t h e storied adventures o f K i n g A r t h u r ' s R o u n d Table.
B u t even in o u r romances, the fair fight is an ideal o n l y as
between i n d i v i d u a l s o f o u r o w n race, w h o observe o u r racial stan-
dards of personal h o n o r ; a n d in practice o u r race has accepted
m o d i f i c a t i o n s of it that seem o d d to us today: for example, in the
family feuds o f Iceland it was considered p r o p e r to k i l l a m a n b y

In war, even between n a t i o n s of o u r race, o u r ideal of a "fair


fight" is disregarded as irrelevant, unless we h o l d that "fairness"
i n c l u d e s not o n l y physical courage, b u t also intelligent fore-

a d m i r e strategy as m u c h as courage. In the p r o v e r b i a l story of the
T r o j a n H o r s e , we do not r e p r e h e n d the d e c e p t i o n p r a c t i c e d by
S i n o n , b u t rather t h e superstition a n d c r e d u l i t y o f t h e Trojans,
w h o fell v i c t i m to the G r e e k s ' ruse; a n d w h i l e we may feel c o m -
passion for certain i n d i v i d u a l Trojans w h o suffered for t h e i r peo-
ple's folly, we feel no p i t y for that p e o p l e as a w h o l e , unless we
attribute t h e i r g u l l i b i l i t y to a force o u t s i d e themselves a n d t h i n k
that their m i n d s were d a r k e n e d b y t h e s u p e r n a t u r a l p o w e r o f
s o m e g o d o r gods. A l l t h e great generals o f h i s t o r y have achieved
t h e i r victories, not by the i n d i s p e n s a b l e courage of their m e n , but
by strategy, i.e., their a b i l i t y to o u t w i t their enemies by a f o r m of
d e c e p t i o n . We even have an a p h o r i s m that affirms that " a l l is fair
in war," a n d we take it for granted that the p h y s i c a l l y weaker
p a r t y m u s t rely on s u p e r i o r c u n n i n g , if it is not to s u c c u m b .
W h e n E u r o p e a n s first settled i n t h e W e s t e r n H e m i s p h e r e , they
were few in n u m b e r — so few that even their s u p e r i o r i t y in arma-
m e n t a n d d i s c i p l i n e over the aborigines d i d not cancel their
n u m e r i c a l weakness — a n d they d i d n o t hesitate to use s o m e
I n d i a n tribes to defeat a n d destroy others, often e x c i t i n g a n d
always p r o f i t i n g f r o m the i n t e r n a l dissensions of a race w h o s e
c o n t i n e n t they i n t e n d e d t o t a k e f r o m them. S u c h expedient

N o w the Jews have always been physically (i.e., n u m e r i c a l l y )


a weaker people. W h e r e v e r they have lodged themselves, they

o n l y male heads of h o u s e h o l d s a n d r e p o r t i n g these as a total pop-
u l a t i o n , it b e i n g the fault of the s t u p i d goyim that they assume
that the statistics were c o m p i l e d in the same terms as t h e i r o w n ,
w h i c h i n c l u d e w o m e n , c h i l d r e n , a n d dependants i n t h e total. I n
any event, even an accurate c o u n t of the aliens w h o attend syna-
gogues w o u l d be i n c o n c l u s i v e , since o n e w o u l d still have to guess
the n u m b e r of M a r r a n o s . A large part of the Jewish force in every
c o u n t r y consists o f M a r r a n o s , Jews w h o , u s i n g t h e c h a m e l e o n -

m a n y days there was no n a m e that betrayed the race of the c h i l d .
T h e personal names o f t h e parents a n d c h i l d r e n were all " C h r i s -
tian" names, w i t h some preference for names that are t r a d i t i o n -
ally Scottish, a n d the f a m i l y names all suggested B r i t i s h , F r e n c h ,
or sometimes Slavic, ancestry. T h o s e instances of the Jews' mas-
q u e r a d i n g u n d e r assumed names, it s h o u l d be r e m e m b e r e d , are
all o f Jews w h o , b y i n s e r t i n g s u c h a n n o u n c e m e n t s i n t h e i r o w n
newspapers, confess their race. M a n y M a r r a n o s eschew s u c h

conquest, b u t b o t h o f these are i n d u b i t a b l y fictitious.
O n e of those stories is well k n o w n , since it is f o u n d in the
c o l l e c t i o n o f Jewish tales c o m m o n l y called t h e " O l d Testament"
b y o u r people. A c c o r d i n g t o t h a t m y t h , t h e Jews ( w i t h t h e help o f
t h e i r t r i b a l deity) o p e n l y invaded t h e l a n d o f C a n a a n , ruthlessly

C a n a a n i t e s v o l u n t a r i l y p e r m i t t e d the Jews to penetrate t h e i r
c o u n t r y peacefully a n d set up synagogues a n d the rest of the Jew-
i s h racial organization, after w h i c h the Jews, of course, t o o k over.
P h i l o c a n d i d l y admits that w h e n the Jews peacefully penetrate a
c o u n t r y to d e s p o i l it, they, in their o w n m i n d s , n a t u r a l l y regard
the inhabitants as enemies, b u t he seems to hesitate between
alternative explanations of the C a n a a n i t e s ' s u i c i d a l folly in per-
m i t t i n g t h e Jewish i m m i g r a t i o n : t h e s t u p i d C a n a a n i t e s were

either impressed by the holiness a n d s u p e r i o r i t y of their covert


invaders or h a d their m i n d s b e f u d d l e d by the Jews' g o d .
It is true that the Jews at some t i m e o b t a i n e d c o n t r o l of the
t e r r i t o r y that was thereafter k n o w n as Judaea, b u t there is no way
o f d e t e r m i n i n g w h a t part o f t h e p o p u l a t i o n was c o m p o s e d o f
racial Jews as distinct from the subjugated a n d m o n g r e l i z e d
descendants of the o r i g i n a l inhabitants, w h o , despite the Jews'
boasts, were not exterminated in war. It is possible, of course,
that some nucleus of t r u t h m a y u n d e r l i e the Jews' story that they
captured city after city of the C a n a a n i t e s , butchered all the m e n ,
b u t c h e r e d all t h e w o m e n , b u t c h e r e d all t h e c h i l d r e n , b u t c h e r e d
all the oxen, b u t c h e r e d all the sheep, b u t c h e r e d all the donkeys,
a n d then relaxed i n blissful c o n t e m p l a t i o n o f their o w n holiness
(e.g., Jos. 6.21). T h e r e is archaeological evidence of the destruc-
t i o n of cities by w a r as well as by earthquakes in or near the time
o f t h e supposed conquest, b u t from what w e k n o w o f t h e Jews'
racial habits, we may guess that after their "peaceful" i m m i g r a -
t i o n , they p r o m p t l y started subversion a n d c i v i l wars a n d were
s o o n able to use o n e a r m y of s t u p i d goyim against a n o t h e r a r m y of
s t u p i d goyim, so that the natives slew o n e a n o t h e r a n d destroyed
themselves, w h i l e the Jews egged on the contestants a n d r u b b e d
their hands gleefully together, m u c h as recently they stampeded
their B r i t i s h a n d A m e r i c a n cattle i n t o G e r m a n y to facilitate their
p i o u s a p p r o p r i a t i o n o f t h e earth that their t r i b a l g o d contracted
to give t h e m .

T h e second story o f a r m e d conquest comes f r o m a n o t h e r


Jewish propagandist, Josephus, w h o was a little younger than
P h i l o , a n d whose story (Cont. Ap., 1.75—94, 224) of a conquest of
Egypt b y t h e H y k s o s l o n g i m p o s e d o n historians w h o d i d not
take i n t o a c c o u n t the Jews' racial genius for forgery a n d decep-
t i o n , w h i c h is n o w so v i v i d l y illustrated by s u c h hoaxes as " A n n e
F r a n k ' s D i a r y " a n d t h e nonsense about t h e "six m i l l i o n s " o f

G o d ' s Race that the G e r m a n s supposedly k i l l e d before the six


million crawled into the United States a n d o t h e r W e s t e r n
nations. W h e t h e r Josephus forged the passage that he claims to
quote from M a n e t h o or utilized the w o r k of some earlier Jew is
u n c e r t a i n ; he relies heavily on the Jewish forgers of earlier centu-
ries, especially the ones w h o assumed G r e e k names, m u c h as Jews
n o w masquerade u n d e r s u c h names as A s h l e y M o n t a g u , Lyle Stu-
art, a n d C r a i g Schiller, so that Josephus can pretend that they
were A r y a n s w h o testified to the vast s u p e r i o r i t y of G o d ' s Race.
W h a t is certain is that there was no conquest of Egypt by the
Hyksos.

It is n o w k n o w n (see Cambridge Ancient History, V o l . II, 1, pp.


54—64, 288—296; a n d especially the definitive w o r k on this subject,
The Hyksos, by J o h n V a n Seters, Yale U n i v e r s i t y Press, 1966) that
the " H y k s o s " were peoples, p r o b a b l y of several different tribes
that spoke S e m i t i c languages, w h o m the Egyptians i n d i s c r i m i -
nately described as "Asiatics," a n d w h o infiltrated Egypt by grad-
ual i m m i g r a t i o n across the S i n a i p e n i n s u l a , a n d p r o b a b l y never
were n u m e r o u s e n o u g h to f o r m a very large fraction of the p o p u -
l a t i o n ; they were clever e n o u g h , however, to spread sedition a n d
incite c i v i l wars u n t i l they attained a rule over the entire n a t i o n ,
p l a c i n g as governors in each district tributaries a n d stooges, m a n y
o f w h o m were certainly o r p r o b a b l y native Egyptian traitors, a n d
u s i n g an u n c e r t a i n p r o p o r t i o n of Egyptians in the troops by
w h i c h they m a i n t a i n e d their d o m i n i o n for almost two centuries.
A n Egyptian revolt finally succeeded i n o v e r t h r o w i n g t h e alien
rulers a n d e x p e l l i n g m a n y of them (for we m a y be sure that some
of the aliens managed to b l e n d themselves i n t o the native p o p u l a -
t i o n a n d escape notice). But d u r i n g their c o n t r o l of Egypt, the
i m m i g r a n t s i n c i t e d massacres of the u p p e r classes a n d p r o m o t e d
the mongrelization that the s t u p i d Egyptians had themselves
b e g u n by i m p o r t i n g b l a c k slaves from the south, a n d they left the

n a t i o n genetically i m p o v e r i s h e d by a great i n f u s i o n of b o t h b l a c k
a n d S e m i t i c b l o o d , from w h i c h Egypt never recovered.
T h e r e are some i n d i c a t i o n s t h a t t h e " A s i a t i c " i m m i g r a n t s
came f r o m the regions that are n o w Syria a n d Palestine, a n d the
m e t h o d s they e m p l o y e d to r u i n Egypt m a k e us c o n s i d e r seriously
Josephus's c l a i m that they were Jews a n d that w h e n they conde-
scended to leave Egypt, they b u i l t Jerusalem as the capital of the
region they then o c c u p i e d . U n f o r t u n a t e l y , there is no evidence
(other than t h e remarkable s i m i l a r i t y o f methods) t o c o n f i r m o r
refute a conjecture that the " H y k s o s " were organized a n d directed
by Jews. In the past century, before the Jews' h a b i t u a l d u p l i c i t y
a n d m e n d a c i t y were generally recognized by historians, Jose-
phus's story was rejected because the e n e m y aliens b r o u g h t w i t h
t h e m i n t o Egypt a g o d n a m e d Set (Seth), w h o m they regarded as
the e n e m y of the Egyptian gods, a l t h o u g h they also talked about
religious t o l e r a t i o n w h e n it suited their purposes in k e e p i n g their
s t u p i d subjects b e m u s e d . T h e y evidently proselytized for their
p a t r o n deity so effectively that he r e m a i n e d in the huge c r o w d of
Egyptian gods after the e n d of their rule, a l t h o u g h he was then
m o s t c o m m o n l y represented as the d i a b o l i c assassin of O s i r i s a n d
o t h e r native deities.

So l o n g as it was supposed that the Jews were u n i q u e l y


devoted to a tribal g o d w h o m they called Y a h w e h or Y a ' o (who is
designated in the " O l d Testament" by a w i d e variety of names
t h a t have been concealed b y t h e translators, w h o , b e g i n n i n g w i t h
the Septuagint, use a w o r d m e a n i n g 'Lord' to translate a n u m b e r
of different names), it was t h o u g h t a x i o m a t i c that the w o r s h i p -
pers of Set c o u l d not be the h o l y Jews; but it is n o w k n o w n that
the Jewish c o l o n y at E l e p h a n t i n e , w h i c h was regarded as perfectly
o r t h o d o x in Jerusalem, had five gods in a p a n t h e o n of w h i c h Y a ' o
was m e r e l y the chief, a n d that the Jews w o r k e d any c o n v e n i e n t
religious racket, for example, c l a i m i n g in Egypt that the Egyptian

g o d O s i r i s , the greatest of all gods, had i n s p i r e d M o s e s a n d the


"prophets of Israel" a n d had chosen the Jews as his special pets.

present state of knowledge, we m u s t leave it an open question
w h e t h e r or not the e n e m y i m m i g r a n t s i n t o Egypt were led by
Jews; if they were, the Jews were at w o r k as early as c. 1760 B . C . ; if
not, we have no certain historical trace of the race before m o r e
than a t h o u s a n d years later.

V . T H E J E W I S H S T R A T E G Y ITSELF:
IN THEIR O W N WORDS

T h e o r i g i n of the Jews as a race is u n k n o w n , b u t there are


i n d i c a t i o n s that they early began to e x p l o i t the superstitions of
t h e p o p u l a t i o n s o n w h i c h they fastened themselves. T h e Jews
have a tale that their ancestor, n a m e d A b r a h a m , came from Ur in
S u m e r i a ( w i t h mortgages on h a l f the S u m e r i a n s ' real estate in his
pocket?), a n d some scholars, n o t h i g h l y regarded today, have sug-
gested that some of the Semitic-speaking peoples w i t h w h o m the
S u m e r i a n s f o o l i s h l y tried t o coexist m e d d l e d extensively w i t h t h e
S u m e r i a n r e l i g i o n a n d perhaps even had an i n f l u e n c e on the
w h i t e , p r e - A r y a n c i v i l i s a t i o n of the Indus V a l l e y . T h e r e is a f i r m e r
basis for a conjecture — b u t only a conjecture, m i n d y o u — that
w o u l d e x p l a i n o n e o f t h e o d d i t i e s o f t h e " N e w Testament," w h i c h
was assembled by a C h r i s t i a n sect that professed a r e l i g i o n that
was o b v i o u s l y a Judaised f o r m of Z o r o a s t r i a n i s m . E v e r y o n e has
n o t i c e d the c u r i o u s detail that in the story a b o u t the b i r t h of the
christ n a m e d Jesus w h i c h gives the earlier date for the event, the
n a t i v i t y is said to have been attended by Zoroastrian priests, w h o
were said to have been g u i d e d to the spot by an o b l i g i n g star or
planet that floated in the atmosphere at an altitude no greater
t h a n that of c u m u l u s clouds to s h o w t h e m the way. It is possible
that t h e M a g i , t h e professional h o l y m e n o f t h e r e l i g i o n t h a t was
spread t h r o u g h the o l d Persian E m p i r e , were Jews. T h e Jews have
a t r a d i t i o n ( I V . Reg. 17.6; 18.11) that there were colonies of lsrael-
ites in M e d i a (in the cities, naturally!), a n d the M a g i not o n l y
c l a i m e d to c o m e from M e d i a , but were a closed caste racially a n d
(like the Jews) propagated themselves t h r o u g h the female line,
often o b t a i n i n g pure offspring by i m p r e g n a t i n g their sisters or
mothers. It is n o w v i r t u a l l y certain that at least the greater part of

t h e extant holy books of the supposedly " A r y a n " r e l i g i o n ,


a l t h o u g h n o w i n a n o d d dialect o f O l d Persian, were translated
f r o m a S e m i t i c language. Diogenes Laërtius (I.9) m e n t i o n s in
passing u n n a m e d G r e e k geographers w h o t h o u g h t that the M a g i
were early Jews, but since those works are n o w lost, we c a n n o t say
w h e t h e r that o p i n i o n was based on m o r e than the fact that after
t h e fall o f t h e Persian E m p i r e , m a n y o f t h e M a g i w h o p e d d l e d
their cult in other lands were k n o w n to be Jews. H e r o d o t u s ' s
d e s c r i p t i o n (III.79) of the M a g o p h o n i a , the Persian reaction
w h e n o n e of the M a g i attempted a p a r t i c u l a r l y outrageous fraud,
s o u n d s very m u c h like a racial outbreak, a n d H o w a n d W e l l s in
their c o m m e n t a r y on H e r o d o t u s (ad. I.101) suggest that the M a g i
m a y have been " n o n - A r y a n . " F r o m these a n d a few m i n o r traces
o n e can construct an hypothesis that w o u l d be h i g h l y significant,
if there were any real p r o o f of it.

W h a t e v e r their o r i g i n , there c a n n o t be the slightest d o u b t


a b o u t the m e t h o d that the Jews have always regarded as ideal in
c a p t u r i n g c o n t r o l of a c o u n t r y : it is set f o r t h clearly a n d e x p l i c i t l y
in the " O l d Testament" (Gen. 47.1—27). T h e hero of this tale is a
Jew n a m e d Joseph, w h o is said to have been b r o u g h t to Egypt as a
slave, but w h o cleverly wriggled u p w a r d in Egyptian society u n t i l
he was in a p o s i t i o n to prey u p o n the g o o d nature a n d supersti-
tions of the Egyptian k i n g , w h o m he first m a n i p u l a t e d to p e r m i t
an i n f l u x of Jews, w h o s o m e h o w take possession of the best l a n d
in the n a t i o n ; then he uses the king's a u t h o r i t y to c o r n e r the
grain market a n d is thus able to take from the Egyptians all their
money, all their cattle, a n d then all their l a n d , so that he has all
the Egyptians (except the Egyptian priests, w i t h w h o m he evi-
d e n t l y m a i n t a i n s a p r u d e n t but o d d alliance) at his mercy, forces
the famished wretches to sell themselves i n t o slavery, a n d then
shrewdly transports groups of the slaves from o n e e n d of the
c o u n t r y to the other, m i x i n g up the p o p u l a t i o n so t h o r o u g h l y

that all his v i c t i m s f i n d themselves a m o n g strangers w i t h w h o m


they w o u l d scarcely dare to c o n c e r t an effective protest — a n d the
Jews, n o d o u b t s n i c k e r i n g i n private, annexed p r o p e r t y a n d " m u l -
t i p l i e d exceedingly." Joseph used the Egyptian k i n g as a conve-
n i e n t p u p p e t in this o p e r a t i o n , a n d the tale implies, of course,
that he enjoyed the coöperation of his tribe's special g o d , at least
w h e n he was o p e r a t i n g as a fortune-teller on his way up. It is hard
to say h o w m u c h fact may u n d e r l i e the story, w h i c h is o b v i o u s l y
an e x p o s i t i o n of the Jews' ideal m e t h o d s . S o m e kings of Egypt
appear to have been feeble-minded, a n d there is even a record
that o n e of t h e m a d m i t t e d some desert n o m a d s w h o put up a pit-
eous plea that their pastures had d r i e d up, but the p r i n c i p a l fea-
tures of the tale m o r e p r o b a b l y reflect Jewish a m b i t i o n s than
actual events. H o w e v e r that may be, the tale c e r t a i n l y sketches an
ideal modus operandi for subjugating the goyim. A n d the Jews of
today w i l l surely not have the audacity to c l a i m that that descrip-
t i o n of their m e t h o d s was forged by the secret p o l i c e of R u s s i a
u n d e r t h e Czars!

T h e Jews c l a i m that the so-called "Protocols of the Elders of


Z i o n , " w h i c h were certainly p u b l i s h e d as early as 1904 a n d
r e p o r t e d l y m u c h earlier in b o o k s that were destroyed w h e n the
Jews seized Russia in 1917, are a "forgery," as, i n d e e d , they m a y
be, a l t h o u g h they describe in detail a n d w i t h complete accuracy
the m e t h o d s that the Jews have consistently used t h r o u g h o u t this
c e n t u r y t o subvert o u r c i v i l i z a t i o n a n d destroy o u r race. B u t A r y -
ans w h o w i s h to u n d e r s t a n d the Jewish m e n t a l i t y need not rely
on that d o c u m e n t : they have o n l y to read the " O l d Testament"
w i t h m i n d s that are not i m m o b i l i z e d in a fog of superstitious
awe. T h e r e is scarcely a chapter of that pseudo-historical narrative
that is not h i g h l y revealing; for example, there never was a Persian
k i n g n a m e d A h a s u e r u s (Assuerus; C h r i s t i a n h o l y m e n usually
c l a i m that the n a m e is a "mistake" for Artaxerxes!), but the fic-

t i o n a b o u t Esther is an i n s p i r a t i o n a l apologue to r e m i n d Jewesses


that w h i l e they m a y f i n d it expedient to m a r r y a m a l e of the lower

VI. A U N I Q U E M E N T A L I T Y

T h e racial m e n t a l i t y of the Jews is so different f r o m o u r o w n


that we can o n l y d r a w inferences f r o m o b s e r v a t i o n of their c o n -
d u c t a n d s u c h of t h e i r statements as appear m o r e or less c a n d i d
a n d w o r t h y of b e l i e f (e.g., M a u r i c e S a m u e l ' s excellent You Gen-
tiles,[7] N e w Y o r k , 1924), b u t w e m u s t r e m e m b e r t h a t all forms o f
life i n s t i n c t i v e l y a n d necessarily m a k e the preservation and
increase o f t h e i r species t h e i r highest purpose, a n d i f v a m p i r e
bats were capable of reason, they w o u l d u n d o u b t e d l y describe
t h e i r furtive b l o o d - s u c k i n g as a righteous exercise a n d identify as
d i a b o l i c a l l y evil t h e various animals ( i n c l u d i n g m e n ) w h o i n o n e
way o r a n o t h e r interfere w i t h t h e i r n o b l e exercise o f t h e i r god-
given right. N o species c o u l d t h i n k o f itself a s evil. A s a n e x - C o m -
m u n i s t o n c e r e m i n d e d me, " Y o u m u s t r e m e m b e r t h a t w h e n
C o m m u n i s t s betray a n a t i o n o r m u r d e r i n n o c e n t p e o p l e b y t h e
t h o u s a n d s , they t h i n k o f themselves a s h i g h l y m o r a l i n d i v i d u a l s
w h o righteously o b e y a h i g h e r p u r p o s e . " W e m a y b e absolutely
certain that whatever the Jews do as a race, no matter h o w v i l e
a n d dastardly it m a y seem to us w h o suffer its effects, seems to
t h e m just a n d righteous — as i n d e e d it is, if we c o n s i d e r it objec-
tively i n terms o f t h e b i o l o g i c a l law t h a t makes survival a n d
increase the highest law of every species.[8]

T h e great strength o f t h e Jews a n d t h e b o n d o f t h e i r racial


c o h e s i o n is their r e l i g i o n , w h i c h , in the widest sense, is an u n l i m -
ited faith in the absolute s u p e r i o r i t y of t h e i r race, for, as M a u r i c e
S a m u e l r e m i n d s us, Jewish atheists, w h o d e r i d e a b e l i e f in super-
n a t u r a l beings, w o r s h i p t h e I m m o r t a l Jewish People. B e y o n d this,

we c a n n o t be definite, for doubtless there always has b e e n the


w i d e s t g a m u t o f p e r s o n a l belief, a n d there i s every e v i d e n c e o f
wild a n d grotesquely e m o t i o n a l fanaticism among the lower
classes, as a m o n g the r a b b l e that was stirred up by the n u m e r o u s
goëtae a n d self-appointed christs i n t h e first c e n t u r y B . C . a n d t h e
F i r s t C e n t u r y o f o u r era w i t h p e r e n n i a l outbreaks o f insane v i o -
lence; a n d m a n y J e w i s h sects have bizarre n o t i o n s that m u s t be

cans saw in South Africa a bright hope for our ill-starred race and

members of it, attributing their prudence to the fact that they were
separated by only a generation from the pioneers who fought an
heroic war for independence, and perhaps also to some peculiar integ-
rity in the Dutch Reformed Church, which appeared to have retained
some belief in the traditional Christianity of the West at a time when
churches elsewhere had been bought and converted into mere instru-
ments of subversion.
Since the murder of Dr. Verwoerd, which was made to seem fortu-
itous to persons who do not understand the rule of cui bono?, it has
become painfully apparent that the Afrikaners are as gullible and
venal, as befuddled and stultified, as the majority of British and Amer-
icans; that what we mistakenly attributed to a people was only the
genius of one man, whose achievements remind one of Philipoemen,
who led the Greeks in their last stand for independence and to whose
influence over his decadent and demoralised people Baudelaire paid
tribute in the memorable lines of his earliest poem:
Cum te mirantur, ad alta
se credunt genitos...

sincerely e n t e r t a i n e d , as, for example, by the P o l i s h Hasidim, w h o


m a t e d their m a l e a n d female c h i l d r e n as s o o n as they were p u b e r -
ate to raise the b i r t h r a t e to the m a x i m u m for the express p u r p o s e
of e x h a u s t i n g G o d ' s stock of g o o d Jewish souls as s o o n as possi-
ble a n d thus f o r c i n g h i m t o b r i n g t h e w o r l d t o a n e n d s o o n e r
than he i n t e n d e d . B u t s u c h vagaries a m o n g the excitable a n d irra-
t i o n a l lower classes have really little significance for the racial
faith. O n t h e o t h e r h a n d , w h e n o n e turns t o t h e literate Jews,
o n e c a n n o t c o n f i d e n t l y d i s t i n g u i s h between w h a t they believe
a n d w h a t they d e e m e x p e d i e n t to profess. F i g h t i n g between vari-
ous Jewish sects has often been v i o l e n t , b l o o d y , a n d v i c i o u s l y
i n h u m a n , b u t seems not to have been so m u c h over d o c t r i n a l dif-
ferences as over the a m b i t i o n s of leaders w h o were ruthlessly slug-
g i n g it o u t for p o w e r a n d w e a l t h a n d used a religious p e c u l i a r i t y
t o r e c r u i t a n d excite t h e i r private armies. A n d a t t h e l i m i t , w e
have no assurance that the psychological process that we call
'belief,' a n d d i s t i n g u i s h from hypocrisy a n d mendacity, occurs in
t h e Jewish m i n d , w h i c h may n o t d i s t i n g u i s h between t r u t h a n d
falsity in terms of s o m e objective reality, as A r y a n s do even w h e n
the reality is m e r e l y a p r o d u c t of t h e i r i m a g i n a t i o n s ; so far as we
can tell, i n d e e d , the racial m e n t a l i t y of this alien species may, by a
p s y c h o l o g i c a l process b e y o n d o u r u n d e r s t a n d i n g , t h i n k o n l y i n
terms of w h a t is g o o d for the Jewish People, the D i v i n e Race, a n d

O u r m i n d s boggle w h e n we try to u n d e r s t a n d s u c h state-


ments as R a b b i S o l o m o n G o l d m a n ' s " G o d is absorbed [sic] in the
n a t i o n a l i s m of Israel... He [ G o d ] creates the w o r l d [sic] in the
H e b r e w language," D r . J o s e p h Kastein's " I t was n o t G o d w h o

ments, w h i c h seem to us to be the ravings of madness, b u t are
o n l y typical of the Jewish m i n d , w h i c h , we m u s t remember, has
regularly, t h r o u g h o u t history, o u t w i t t e d o u r race. W e , o f course,
often r e m a r k that m e n create G o d in their o w n image, thus stat-
i n g a psychological a n d a n t h r o p o l o g i c a l t r u t h , a n d w h a t we m e a n
by that statement is that gods do n o t exist, b u t are mere figments
of the imagination, and if a man o f o u r race, h a v i n g thus
a f f i r m e d his atheism, were then to profess b e l i e f in the d i v i n i t y
a n d reality of a g o d or gods, we s h o u l d r i g h t l y adjudge h i m
insane; b u t it is o b v i o u s that the Jewish m i n d sees no illogic in
w o r s h i p p i n g a g o d it has k n o w i n g l y created — in w o r s h i p p i n g its
o w n image in a m i r r o r . T h a t is i n s a n i t y — we c a n n o t honestly call
it a n y t h i n g else in o u r t e r m i n o l o g y — b u t it is the i n s a n i t y of a
species that has successfully preyed on all others for m i l l e n n i a
a n d i s n o w a c h i e v i n g o w n e r s h i p o f t h e entire earth.

If we are to be b o t h fair a n d objective, we must b e a r in m i n d


the difference — perhaps an e n o r m o u s difference — between the
J e w i s h m e n t a l i t y a n d o u r own.[10] W h e n w e c o n s i d e r t h e Jews' reli-
g i o n a n d describe i t i n o u r terms, w e a t t r i b u t e t o t h e m , e x p l i c i t l y
or by i m p l i c a t i o n , s u c h hypocrisy as we see in o u r clergymen
today, a n d we are t e m p t e d to c o n v i c t t h e m of a c o n s c i o u s d i s s i m -
u l a t i o n that is o d i o u s to us, but we m u s t r e m e m b e r that w h a t
seems r e p u g n a n t to us seems g o o d a n d righteous to t h e i r p e c u l i a r
mentality.

world about us quite differently from our perception of it. Since Jews
communicate with our race in Indo-European languages and in the
West even use those languages to communicate with each other
(although probably attaching different meanings to many key words)
or distort Indo-European languages into special dialects of their own,
such as their variety of the Greek koine in Antiquity and Ladino and
Yiddish in more recent times, the vast psychological difference may be
most clearly seen when one examines Hebrew, a dialect they formed
from Western Semitic (Phoenician) and impressed with their own
mentality, since it has many peculiarities not found in other Semitic
languages. These are set forth by Dr. Thorleif Boman in his Hebrew
Thought Compared with Greek (Philadelphia, Westminster Press, 1960),
a work that deserves the most careful study by Aryans. Dr. Boman is a
Christian and thus obligated himself to find a "moral" value in the
radically different Jewish mentality, and a comparable study by an
unprejudiced philologist is greatly to be desired. It is entirely possible
that the schizophrenic daubs that are peddled to the boobs as "mod-
ern art" actually correspond to the Jewish perception of reality and
instinctive hatred of what seems beautiful and noble to us, and should
not therefore be regarded as merely a means of corrupting our culture
and displaying contempt for us.

VII. T H E J E W I S H R E L I G I O N

W h i l e it is scarcely possible that Jews do not k n o w they are


p r a c t i c i n g deceit a n d fraud w h e n they cozen goyim, it is likely that
they feel m u c h as do members of o u r race w h e n they s h o o t deer
or ducks from b l i n d s , b u t we can o n l y m a k e precarious guesses
a b o u t their o w n feelings a b o u t t h e i r r e l i g i o n . W h a t is clear is its
usefulness to t h e m in their attacks on other races.

(1) T h e r e l i g i o n is the perfect cover for the Jews' racial arro-


gance. If they c l a i m e d on any o t h e r g r o u n d s to be the M a s t e r
R a c e a n d p r o c l a i m e d that the m e m b e r s of o t h e r races were so
i n f e r i o r that they were little, if at a l l , better than swine, the Jews
w o u l d arouse resentment from persons w h o were u n w i l l i n g to
accept that status. B u t peoples that have emerged f r o m barbar-
i s m , even i f still deeply i m b u e d w i t h superstitions themselves,
have learned to be tolerant of m a n y strange superstitions a n d
strange gods a n d k n o w that there is v i r t u a l l y no l i m i t to what
votaries can believe. T h e Jews further d i s a r m resentment by pro-
fessing to share t h e i r status as a M a s t e r Race w i t h any 'convert'
a n d profess to be eager proselytizers, b u t have taken the precau-
t i o n to i m p o s e on proselytes sexual m u t i l a t i o n s that al one suffice
to exclude v i r i l e m e n a n d grotesquely barbarous taboos that are
certain to repel every goy except a few females w h o are so light-
headed that they w i l l m a k e useful puppets. T h e i r faith in their
innate s u p e r i o r i t y is thus shrewdly disguised.

(2) T h e r e l i g i o n is a perfect cover for conspiracy. W h e n the


Jews invade a country, they n o r m a l l y m a k e themselves i n c o n s p i c -
uous by i n f i l t r a t i n g , a few at a time, a n d p l a n t i n g a few of t h e i r
n u m b e r in every city, t o w n , or even village where there is m o n e y
to be m a d e by e x p l o i t i n g the s t u p i d natives. If the scattered
groups of invaders m a i n t a i n e d a close liaison w i t h o t h e r m e m -

bers of their race b o t h w i t h i n a n d w i t h o u t the n a t i o n they are


a t t a c k i n g a n d c l a i m e d to do so on the basis of any c o m m o n inter-
est except r e l i g i o n , they w o u l d soon be i d e n t i f i e d as an alien a n d
e n e m y conspiracy, b u t by c l a i m i n g that they have a c o m m o n
interest in the w o r s h i p of some g o d , they persuade the citizens to
t h i n k of t h e m as merely the votaries of some absurd, b u t h a r m -
lessly foolish, cult, a n d to o v e r l o o k the real solidarity of the invad-
ers.

(3) T h e r e l i g i o n is the perfect means — a n d this is most


i m p o r t a n t — the perfect means o f m a k i n g certain that Jews w i l l
be persecuted. It m u s t be realized that the Jews' success depends on
their cunning in having themselves "persecuted."

By perpetually w h i n i n g that they are a poor, helpless, perse-


cuted m i n o r i t y , they effectively disguise t h e i r real p o w e r a n d their
success in w r a p p i n g t h e i r tentacles about their v i c t i m s , a n d by
e x c i t i n g the pity of soft-hearted a n d soft-headed goyim, they can
use those goyim as weapons against the others.

By establishing a r e p u t a t i o n for b e i n g persecuted for their


r e l i g i o n by awfully w i c k e d pagans, they can m a k e it seem that
they, p o o r innocents, are suffering for their piety w h e n e v e r their
depredations a n d m a l e v o l e n c e have so exasperated t h e i r v i c t i m s
that the latter try by legislation or v i o l e n c e to free themselves
f r o m the aliens w h o are e x p l o i t i n g a n d oppressing t h e m .

(4) T h e r e l i g i o n is perfect camouflage, w h e t h e r or n o t it was


c o n s c i o u s l y designed for that f u n c t i o n . First of a l l , it enjoins on
the race practices so barbarous a n d taboos so absurd a n d i n c o n -
v e n i e n t that members of other races can not believe that any
r a t i o n a l beings w o u l d v o l u n t a r i l y s u b m i t themselves to w h a t the
Jews call t h e i r "Law" a n d therefore assume that the Jews do so
o n l y from a slavish fear of their capricious a n d ferocious deity:
that convinces the goyim that the Jews never dare to disobey the

m e m b e r s o f it, b u t w h i c h can b e represented t o t h e s t u p i d " G e n -
tiles" as g o v e r n i n g the Jews' c o n d u c t t o w a r d t h e m . T h u s have the
Jews enveloped themselves in a r e p u t a t i o n for so fearing t h e i r
d e i t y that they obey his w r i t t e n instructions p u n c t i l i o u s l y , even in
t h e i r relations w i t h o t h e r races. So t h o r o u g h l y have the Jews
i m p l a n t e d this n o t i o n in o u r people that m a n y A r y a n s , even if
they have no religious p r e c o n c e p t i o n s , almost a u t o m a t i c a l l y exon-
erate Jews from charges that are s u p p o r t e d by evidence that
w o u l d suffice t o c o n v i c t m e m b e r s o f any other race. T h e testi-
m o n y o f eye-witnesses w h o entered t h e i n n e r s a n c t u m o f t h e Tem-
ple in Jerusalem is rejected out of h a n d : the p i o u s Jews w o u l d n ' t
have had s u c h a s h r i n e . S t r o n g c i r c u m s t a n t i a l evidence of r i t u a l
m u r d e r s is s i m p l y disregarded: the G o d - f e a r i n g Jews w o u l d n ' t
i n d u l g e in h u m a n sacrifice. E v e r y n a t i o n on w h i c h the Jews have
fastened themselves since they first appear in h i s t o r y has been
destroyed b y i n t e r n a l subversion a n d c o r r u p t i o n , b u t n o o n e
i n q u i r e s t o what extent t h e alien b o d y lodged w i t h i n t h e n a t i o n
was responsible for its disintegration a n d f i n a l d o o m : the high-
m i n d e d Jews w o u l d n o t h a r m t h e i r hosts. A n d s o i t goes. O u r
p e o p l e have been c o n d i t i o n e d a u t o m a t i c a l l y to accord to the Jews
an e x e m p t i o n f r o m the rules of evidence that we observe a m o n g
ourselves. So far as I k n o w , no A r y a n charged w i t h theft or m u r -
d e r has even t h o u g h t of p r o v i n g his i n n o c e n c e by asserting he is a
C h r i s t i a n a n d p r o d u c i n g his B i b l e as p r o o f that C h r i s t i a n s can-
n o t steal o r m u r d e r . N o o n e has ever c l a i m e d t h a t t h e T h i r t y
Years' W a r m u s t b e a n i n v e n t i o n b y pagan historians t o slander
C h r i s t i a n s , since it is u n t h i n k a b l e that two sects of gentle, l o v i n g ,

lamb-like C h r i s t i a n s w o u l d have so barbarously slaughtered o n e


another.

(5) T h e r e l i g i o n provides a means of penetrating even the


i n m o s t circles of nations a n d societies of credulous goyim. A Jew
has o n l y to c l a i m that he rejects the r e l i g i o n a n d to have h i m s e l f
s p r i n k l e d w i t h h o l y water to make C h r i s t i a n s fancy that he has
been m i r a c u l o u s l y transformed a n d is no longer a Jew; n o n -
C h r i s t i a n s are as g u l l i b l e , for if a Jew does n o t observe some of
the taboos a n d is seen to eat pork, a n d if he affects adherence to
their culture, they accept h i m as o n e of themselves. T h e Jewish
r e l i g i o n c o u l d have been designed to facilitate the p l a n t i n g of
M a r r a n o s i n t h e heart o f invaded nations.

(6) T h e i r r e p u t a t i o n as b e i n g on i n t i m a t e terms w i t h super-


n a t u r a l beings gives the Jews a great advantage in p e d d l i n g sor-
cery a n d s i m i l a r h o k u m in societies m a r k e d by a h i g h level of
ignorance. In the M i d d l e A g e s , for example, a n d even d u r i n g the
Renaissance a n d R e f o r m a t i o n , the practice of magic to b i l k the
c r e d u l o u s a n d to impose even on the rulers of states a n d learn
their secrets was almost as useful to the Jews as usury a n d c o m -
m e r c i a l fraud in subverting E u r o p e a n society. A q u i c k glance at
any g r i m o i r e o f t h e time o r a t t h e s u m m a r y i n A r t h u r E . W a i t e ' s
Book of Ceremonial Magic ( L o n d o n , 1912; N e w Y o r k , 1961) w i l l
suffice to s h o w that b o t h t e r m i n o l o g y a n d practices c o m e f r o m
Jewish sources, especially the K a b b a l a h , adapted to impose on
the goyim.

(7) T h e i r expertise in superstition has always given the


" G o d - p e o p l e , " as the Jews like to call themselves, the ability to
i n f l u e n c e a n d divert native religions for their o w n benefit. S i n c e
s u c h w o r k is d o n e covertly t h r o u g h M a r r a n o s a n d dupes, we can
o n l y suspect Jewish i n f l u e n c e i n m a n y religious c i v i l wars w i t h o u t
b e i n g able to prove it. It is, for example, historically certain that

agents of subversion to weaken a n d betray t h e i r hosts, a n d that
after C y r u s captured B a b y l o n w i t h o u t a p r o l o n g e d siege a n d
fighting, he repaid the Jews for t h e i r g o o d w o r k , w h i c h h a d
spared the lives of m a n y of his soldiers, a n d (as m a n y a n o t h e r
c o n q u e r o r was to do later) rewarded t h e m for their betrayal of his
enemies w i t h special privileges. T h e Jews, a c c o r d i n g to their tradi-
tions, flattered the t r i u m p h a n t goy by c a l l i n g h i m t h e i r christ, a n d
p r o b a b l y r u b b e d their hands together in glee as they prepared to
use those privileges to e x p l o i t the natives of various regions in the
e x p a n d i n g Persian E m p i r e , i n c l u d i n g eventually t h e native Egyp-
tians, as we have learned from the Jewish papyri f o u n d at Ele-
phantine. We may reasonably infer that the Jews stealthily
o p e n e d the gates of B a b y l o n to the Persians, so that C y r u s c o u l d
take the strongly w a l l e d city w i t h o u t fighting, b u t we can o n l y
conjecture w h a t c o n t r i b u t i o n s they m a d e t o t h e agitation a n d
d e m o r a l i s a t i o n o f t h e B a b y l o n i a n s t h a t weakened t h e E m p i r e
before t h e Persians invaded it. T h e tale o f t h e fall o f B a b y l o n i n
the Jews' story-book is, of course, an impressive f i c t i o n , p r o b a b l y
c o m p o s e d almost f o u r h u n d r e d years after the event by an a u t h o r
w h o d i d n o t even k n o w t h e n a m e o f t h e last k i n g o f B a b y l o n ,
w h o was N a b o n i d u s (= N a b u - n a ' i d ) , a n d e v i d e n t l y a great bene-
factor of the Jews,[11] w h o n a t u r a l l y k n i f e d the sucker in the b a c k
w h e n they had a chance to do so. T h e r e may be some t r u t h , how-
ever, in the Jews' t r a d i t i o n that their hatred of the B a b y l o n i a n s
was given a religious c o l o r i n g , a n d the r a n t i n g attributed to Isa-
i a h as w e l l as parts of the tale called " D a n i e l " may preserve a
m e m o r y of religious agitation carried out by the Jews in B a b y l o n .
N o w o n e m a j o r cause o f N a b o n i d u s ' s difficulties was what
a m o u n t e d to a religious c i v i l w a r in his d o m a i n s , ostensibly
between votaries of Sin a n d the votaries of M a r d u k , carried o u t

w i t h a ferocious f a n a t i c i s m that seems strange a m o n g peoples


l o n g a c c u s t o m e d t o p o l y t h e i s m , even t h o u g h s o m e o f t h e m are
S e m i t i c b y race. A n d there i s evidence that s o m e (we k n o w n o t
w h e t h e r few or many) of the votaries of M a r d u k were p e d d l i n g a
k i n d of m o n o t h e i s m , c l a i m i n g that he was the o n l y (good?) g o d
a n d t h a t o t h e r gods were m e r e l y aspects o f h i m . T h e Jews, o f
course, never hesitate to p r o m o t e whatever g o d is useful to t h e m
(e.g., Sebazius i n R o m e a n d O s i r i s i n Egypt d u r i n g t h e s e c o n d
c e n t u r y B . C . ) in m a n i p u l a t i n g goyim, a n d we m a y suspect that
they were m e d d l i n g w i t h the B a b y l o n i a n r e l i g i o n as w e l l as c o n -
t r i b u t i n g i n all p r o b a b i l i t y t o t h e e c o n o m i c depression a n d i n f l a -
t i o n in N a b o n i d u s ' s realm — but, so far as I k n o w , we have no
proof. T h e same is true of m a n y later events in history.

A l t h o u g h a few obscurities r e m a i n , the o r i g i n a n d e v o l u t i o n


of C h r i s t i a n i t y is n o w w e l l k n o w n , b u t the subject is far too c o m -
plex for f u l l e x p o s i t i o n here. We m a y note, however, o n e stage in
t h a t e v o l u t i o n , t h e Protestant R e f o r m a t i o n , w h i c h was, i f c o n s i d -
ered historically, a terrible c a l a m i t y that d r e n c h e d the streets a n d
fields o f E u r o p e w i t h m u c h o f t h e best b l o o d o f o u r race, i m p o v -
e r i s h i n g it genetically, w h i l e the Jews watched gleefully a n d prof-
ited e n o r m o u s l y f r o m b o t h sides a n d , w i t h t h e fragmentation o f
Protestantism, all sides. N o w m a n y causes c o n t r i b u t e d to that

disaster, b u t if we try to identify o n e single i n c i d e n t that triggered


the e x p l o s i o n , we must fix on the cleverness of the Jews in F l o -
rence, w h e n , i n 1485, they b a m b o o z l e d a n d e x p l o i t e d G i o v a n n i
P i c o , C o u n t d e l l a M i r a n d o l a a n d titular P r i n c e o f C o n c o r d i a ,
extracting e n o r m o u s sums f r o m t h e too wealthy y o u n g m a n w h i l e
f i l l i n g his vigorous, b u t adolescent, m i n d w i t h K a b b a l i s t i c hocus-
pocus, t e l l i n g h i m it was the true essence of C h r i s t i a n i t y . F r o m
P i c o the clue leads directly to R e u c h l i n , Pfefferkorn, L u t h e r (who
was tactfully g u i d e d by his helpful Jewish friends u n t i l late in his
life, w h e n h e perceived h o w they had used h i m ) , U l r i c h v o n H u t -

three centuries. It w o u l d be absurd to c l a i m that the catastrophe
was the result of a Jewish plot, b u t it is legitimate to pose the
q u e s t i o n to w h a t extent Jewish intrigues a n d m a n i p u l a t i o n s c o n -
t r i b u t e d to it. T h a t is a p r o b l e m that c o u l d be the Hauptwerk of a
d i l i g e n t a n d objective historian w i l l i n g to devote his life to the
requisite research.

(8) T h e Jews' r e l i g i o n , w h i c h , as presented to the goyim,


seems to validate their boasts of a p e c u l i a r "righteousness,"
makes possible the greater part of their secular (i.e., e c o n o m i c
a n d social) subversion a n d eventual destruction of the nations
they invade. It must be r e m e m b e r e d that the Jews operate by dis-
c o v e r i n g a n d e x p l o i t i n g causes o f dissent w i t h i n nations, i n c i t i n g
classes a n d c o m p a r a b l e groups w i t h i n the n a t i o n to reciprocal
a n t a g o n i s m , a n d exacerbating t h e rivalries t o t h e p o i n t o f c i v i l
war, u n t i l the n a t i o n is paralysed a n d reduced to masses of i n d i -

isolated from the rest of the society on the basis of some eco-
n o m i c , o c c u p a t i o n a l , regional, c u l t u r a l , sexual, or racial interest

they have in c o m m o n , p e r s u a d i n g t h e m that they are "oppressed"


by the w i c k e d society, i n c i t i n g t h e m to hatred of t h e i r "oppres-
sors" a n d m a k i n g t h e m greedy for the profits they t h i n k they can
gain by " d e m a n d i n g their rights," a n d thus setting each g r o u p
against all others u n t i l the n a t i o n is paralysed by pseudo-legal
c o n t e n t i o n that may h o p e f u l l y be expected to eventuate in civil
wars, massive massacres, a n d a reversion to total b a r b a r i s m . T h e
Jews, w h o are always careful to w a i l that they are a "persecuted
m i n o r i t y " w i t h a passion for g o d l y "justice," are thus ideally pre-
pared to incite the " u n d e r p r i v i l e g e d " to outbreaks for "social jus-
tice," a n d it is, of course, well k n o w n that all of the m u l t i p l e
forms of subversion are directed by Jews, often q u i t e openly,
a l t h o u g h they usually try to associate w i t h t h e m some h i r e d or
light-headed members of each g r o u p they are i n c i t i n g to what w i l l
be, in the e n d , self-destruction.

(9) T h e same parade of religiosity facilitates the other p r i n c i -


pal offensive against the o c c u p i e d n a t i o n , if it belongs to o u r
race, w h i c h is m o r b i d l y susceptible to rhetorical appeals to senti-
m e n t a l i t y a n d "ideals," i.e., fancied changes of the real w o r l d to
m a k e i t m o r e pleasant, usually b y some magical transformation o f
h u m a n nature. A r y a n s , especially females, are easily intoxicated
b y r h a p s o d i c talk a b o u t " a l l m a n k i n d , " "the b r o t h e r h o o d o f
man," "world peace," "equality of races," " a l l m e n are b o r n
equal," a n d s i m i l a r nonsense. T h a t a d u l t A r y a n s believe i n s u c h

V I I I . C O N S P I R A C Y O R INSTINCT?

T h i s s u m m a r y of the Jews' most useful devices leaves us, of


course, w i t h the question h o w it is possible for the dispersed a n d
w i d e l y scattered m e m b e r s of the race to act w i t h w h a t a m o u n t s to
u n a n i m i t y a n d perfect coördination. It is scarcely credible that so
large a n u m b e r of i n d i v i d u a l s , m a n y of t h e m s h o w i n g a low o r d e r
of intelligence, c o u l d carry o u t s u c h operations a c c o r d i n g to a
c o n s c i o u s l y f o r m e d p l a n o n w h i c h they have all p r e v i o u s l y
agreed. T h e great mass of Jews seem to be, almost w i t h o u t excep-
t i o n , u n d e r t h e tight c o n t r o l a n d d i s c i p l i n e o f t h e i r fairly n u m e r -
ous leaders, w h o c o u l d , in t u r n , be e q u a l l y subject to the orders
of a supreme a n d secret directorate, w h i c h plans a n d directs a
c o n s c i o u s strategy as set f o r t h in the famous "Protocols." T h i s is
possible, a l t h o u g h A r y a n s are apt to t h i n k most u n l i k e l y an oper-
a t i o n o f w h i c h they w o u l d b e utterly incapable — o f w h i c h they
are, we m u s t believe, genetically incapable, since t h e i r earliest
records, i n t h e H o m e r i c traditions, t h e N o r s e legends, a n d even
the Vedas, attest the great d i f f i c u l t y of m a i n t a i n i n g an effective
consensus w i t h i n even c o m p a c t a n d comparatively s m a l l bands
for specific, i m m e d i a t e , a n d l i m i t e d ends. It is a p e r n i c i o u s a n d
perhaps fatal error, characteristic of o u r race, to assume that
o t h e r races have a p p r o x i m a t e l y the same nature as ours, so that
a r g u m e n t against a conscious a n d concerted c o n s p i r a c y m u s t be
d i s c a r d e d . T h e alternative to that theory, so far as I can see, can
be o n l y an hypothesis that the Jews are directed by instinct, at
least to a large extent. T h e y m a y represent a c o m p l e x a n d h i g h l y
advanced f o r m o f t h e b i o l o g i c a l p h e n o m e n o n o f w h i c h a s i m p l e
manifestation is seen in m a m m a l s that h u n t in packs or bands.
A s i s w e l l k n o w n , wolves a n d A f r i c a n w i l d dogs, for example,
h u n t i n organized packs a n d stalk a n d b r i n g d o w n t h e i r game b y

a k i n d of strategy that is carried o u t by the pack as a u n i t b u t w i t h


each i n d i v i d u a l in it h a v i n g a definite f u n c t i o n a n d a d a p t i n g h i m -
self to the needs of a specific situation. T h i s activity we attribute
to instincts o p e r a t i n g entirely b e l o w the level of real conscious-
ness. A f r i c a n b a b o o n s f o r m bands that are really s m a l l tribes hav-
i n g an oligarchic government, a n d t h e i r survival u n d e r very
adverse c o n d i t i o n s is p r o o f that they adapt t h e i r p r e s u m a b l y
instinctive m e t h o d s to new c o n d i t i o n s , a n d that they learn by
experience a n d observation. It is assumed, however, partly f r o m
the structure of the b a b o o n ' s b r a i n a n d the absence of a real lan-
guage, that the species is not capable of conscious t h o u g h t . On
the o t h e r h a n d , we are aware that, a l t h o u g h we may, on strictly
objective grounds, identify o u r race as h a v i n g a p e c u l i a r capacity
for objective thought, m a n y of o u r actions are d e t e r m i n e d by
i n s t i n c t u a l a n d subconscious reactions (e.g., o u r p e r c e p t i o n o f
beauty, fear of death, reaction to o d o r s a n d sounds, etc.), how-
ever m u c h we may c o n s c i o u s l y try to rationalize t h e m or to alter
t h e m b y efforts o f the w i l l that are likely to p r o d u c e schizophre-
nia.

It is entirely possible, therefore, that a species c o u l d have


been f o r m e d by b i o l o g i c a l selection that a u t o m a t i c a l l y preys on
o u r species as instinctively as wolves prey on c a r i b o u , a l t h o u g h , of
course, w i t h m u c h greater c u n n i n g a n d versatility.

IX. E X T E R M I N A T I O N

T h i s hypothesis is o p e n to the objection that, so far as we


can tell, a d i s t i n c t change has taken place in the Jews' activity in
this c e n t u r y a n d at a p p r o x i m a t e l y the t i m e of the " P r o t o c o l s . "

Before this, the aliens seem to have been c o n t e n t to e x p l o i t


the A r y a n s a n d , in b i o l o g i c a l terms, feed on t h e m ; the present
objective is o b v i o u s l y e x t e r m i n a t i o n of o u r species t h r o u g h m o n -
grelization a n d massacres, so that it w o u l d seem that the organiza-
t i o n a n d d o m i n a t i o n o f t h e Jewish c o l o n i e s b y t h e Zionists
p r o d u c e d a change in p u r p o s e that must, to a large extent at least,
have been c o n s c i o u s l y d e t e r m i n e d a n d p l a n n e d .

T h i s i m p l i e s some measure o f r u l e b y some k i n d o f d i r e c t o r -


ate that has the a b i l i t y a n d p o w e r to set objectives for the race.
T h e alternative is to explain the change as a n a t u r a l result of the
progressive w e a k e n i n g of o u r race by less direct attacks d u r i n g the
past t h o u s a n d years or m o r e , c o m p a r a b l e to the change in the
activity of a w o l f pack w h e n it senses that the harried c a r i b o u are
nearing exhaustion.

W h a t e v e r the e x p l a n a t i o n , the Jews' d e t e r m i n a t i o n to exter-


m i n a t e the A r y a n s is not unreasonable.

O n e m a y see a g o o d analogy in the cattle that are raised in


the southwestern part of the U n i t e d States. F o r a l o n g time, the
favorite breed was the 'Texas L o n g - h o r n , ' w h i c h was hardy, able
to fight o f f coyotes a n d o t h e r predators, a n d to survive in the
w i l d s u n t i l it was r o u n d e d up by the cowboys for a l o n g drive to
the market, but it was also a dangerous a n i m a l that w o u l d attack
its owners w h e n p r o v o k e d . It is n o w v i r t u a l l y extinct, h a v i n g been
replaced on the ranches by m o r e d o c i l e breeds, s u c h as the ' B l a c k
A n g u s , ' since the predators have been exterminated a n d the cat-
tle n o w graze w i t h i n fences or are s i m p l y fattened on c o r n pro-

horn' is no longer needed, w h i l e the m o r e d o c i l e a n d sluggish

E a r l y i n t h e T w e n t i e t h C e n t u r y , A r y a n s had, for all practical
purposes, subjugated the entire w o r l d a n d m a d e it everywhere
b o t h safe a n d c o n v e n i e n t for the Jews, whereas events in G e r -
m a n y in the 1930s proved that A r y a n s c o u l d be dangerous to the
M a s t e r Race, i f they got o u t o f c o n t r o l . E l i m i n a t i o n o f t h e species
seems therefore a logical step for the self-styled ' G o d - p e o p l e . '

X. G E N E T I C ' I N T E G R A T I O N '

I shall add a d i s q u i e t i n g c o n s i d e r a t i o n that, so far as I k n o w ,


no o t h e r A r y a n has taken i n t o account. It is based on the w o r k of
Dr. A l f r e d N o s s i g , whose m a n u a l of advice to his race on the best
means o f e x p e d i t i o u s l y t a k i n g possession o f t h e entire planet,
published simultaneously in Austria, Germany, and the U n i t e d
States (Integrales Judentum; V i e n n a , B e r l i n , N e w Y o r k , 1922), m u s t
once have been widely distributed, but has now become
extremely rare, so that I h a d to search for years before f i n d i n g
even a battered c o p y of it. M o s t of w h a t he says is, of course, mere
c o m m o n p l a c e to anyone w h o has observed the Jews' techniques,
b u t there is o n e c l a i m w h i c h , if true, explains m u c h a n d leaves us
w i t h little o r n o hope, n o matter w h a t m a y happen i n t h e future:
he boasts of a genetic i n f i l t r a t i o n of o u r race that p r o b a b l y renders
us helpless.

A c c o r d i n g to Dr. N o s s i g , any taint of Jewish b l o o d ("ein ein-


ziges jüdisches Bluttröpfchen") w i l l so alter the b r a i n cells
( " G e h i r n g a n g l i e n " ) o f m a n y subsequent generations o f a n appar-
e n t l y pure A r y a n family that the descendants w i l l be susceptible
to Jewish p r o p a g a n d a a n d can readily be m o b i l i z e d against t h e i r
o w n race. W h a t is m o r e , Dr. N o s s i g seems to reject the usual Jew-
i s h v i e w that the genes of Jewishness, like h a e m o p h i l i a , are trans-
m i t t e d o n l y t h r o u g h females, s o t h a t o n l y t h e offspring o f
Jewesses, regardless of the race of their father, are real Jews. (This,
of course, explains s u c h varied p h e n o m e n a as the degeneration
o f t h e B r i t i s h aristocracy, w h i c h some observers trace partly t o
t h e c o m m o n practice o f covetous o r necessitous B r i t o n s o f marry-
i n g t h e i r sons to Jewesses w h o were p r o v i d e d w i t h fat dowries a n d
often d u n k e d i n h o l y water t o m a k e t h e m m o r e acceptable, a n d
the k i d n a p p i n g of m a l e G e r m a n infants in 1944—45, w h o were

race.) D r . N o s s i g , astonishingly, seems to believe that the heredity
is t r a n s m i t t e d by Jews of either sex. T h i s means that, for example,
if a Jew in 1800 seduced a n d impregnated an A r y a n m a t r o n , her
descendants, even today after m a n y generations ( w h i c h w o u l d
still be less than "eine lange R e i h e v o n G e n e r a t i o n e n " ) of mar-
riages to pure A r y a n stock, w o u l d all have the Jewish t u m o r in
t h e i r brains a n d b e subject t o c o n t r o l t h r o u g h i t . A n d w h e n o n e
tries to guess in h o w m a n y nests the i n v a d i n g cuckoos may have
l a i d their eggs t h r o u g h the centuries, o n e shudders.
Dr. N o s s i g is o b v i o u s l y c o n v i n c e d that the genes of Jewish-
ness are not o n l y d o m i n a n t , b u t have a p o w e r of d o m i n a n c e
greater than is attested for the genes of any physical trait. T h a t
does n o t c o n f o r m to the theories h e l d by most m o d e r n geneti-
cists, but I can f i n d no scientific c o r r o b o r a t i o n or refutation of
t h e c l a i m , a n d I n e e d n o t p o i n t o u t t h e m e t h o d o l o g i c a l obstacles
i n t h e way o f d e t e r m i n a t i o n o f t h e i n h e r i t a n c e o f specific m e n t a l
traits in i n d i v i d u a l s , even if research on that subject were freely
permitted.

XI. RELIGIOSITY

T h e current intensive p r o m o t i o n o f o c c u l t hocus-pocus,


w h i c h so generally afflicts the y o u n g w h o have been intellectually
d i s i n h e r i t e d a n d sabotaged in the p u b l i c boob-incubators, seems
to indicate that m a n y people w h o have no r e l i g i o n have an
instinctive appetite for some substitute for it. A few h i g h l y i n t e l l i -
gent m e m b e r s of o u r race, i n c l u d i n g some I have observed in the
graduate schools, m e n as well as m e m b e r s of the religious sex,
w h o are, of course, too intelligent to practice witchcraft or d r u g
themselves w i t h mescaline or lysergic acid to "get in t o u c h w i t h
the infinite," want to believe in metempsychosis (an o l d A r y a n
faith, at least!) a n d in some c o s m i c intelligence r o u g h l y compara-
ble to the H i n d u Brahma (neuter) that governs the universe in
c o n f o r m i t y w i t h some H i g h e r Purpose.

A certain religiosity, a desire or need to believe in magic a n d


miracles ( w h i c h , of course, i m p l y the existence of a p r a e t e r h u m a n
p o w e r capable of p r o d u c i n g them), may be b i o l o g i c a l l y innate in
all races a n d perhaps even in some species of m a m m a l s that are
not a n t h r o p o i d . T h a t , at least, is an hypothesis that I have often
c o n s i d e r e d . M a n y readers p r o b a b l y k n o w E u g e n e M a r a i s ' major
w o r k , The Soul of the Ape (i.e., b a b o o n s — I am t o l d that the mis-
n o m e r comes i n t h e translation f r o m t h e A f r i k a a n s , i n w h i c h t h e
title has a w o r d that designates b o t h apes a n d the larger m o n -
keys), but m a y not have seen his earlier a n d m u c h shorter w o r k
w h i c h was translated a n d p u b l i s h e d s h o r t l y after his death u n d e r
the title My Friends, the Baboons. In it M a r a i s reports that w h e n he
a n d his assistant were o b s e r v i n g a c o l o n y of b a b o o n s a n d had suc-
ceeded in establishing f r i e n d l y relations w i t h them, they were
awakened o n e n i g h t b y a n unprecedented visit f r o m t h e d o m i -
n a n t males w h o were t h e oligarchs o f t h e b a b o o n t r o o p . T h e y

f i n a l l y u n d e r s t o o d t h a t they were b e i n g i n v i t e d t o visit t h e lair o f


the troop, a n d f o l l o w i n g those leaders they were c o n d u c t e d to the
troop's sleeping place, where they f o u n d a n u m b e r of females
m o u r n i n g over offspring t h a t had apparently d i e d o f some epi-
d e m i c disease. So far as M a r a i s c o u l d d e t e r m i n e , he had been
i n v i t e d in the hope that he c o u l d a n d w o u l d resurrect the dead
b a b o o n - c h i l d r e n a n d restore them to life. T h e r e was sadness a n d
h o w l i n g w h e n h e departed w i t h o u t h a v i n g p e r f o r m e d t h e desired
m i r a c l e . A n a t o l e France has written a very plausible essay on
dogs, w h o regard m e n as their gods w i t h a piety w h i c h , France
hints, does n o t essentially differ from the religious piety of
h u m a n beings except that the dogs can see a n d touch their dei-
ties a n d so k n o w that they exist, whereas h u m a n beings have to
c o n t e n t themselves w i t h figments o f their i m a g i n a t i o n s .

W e m u s t c o n s i d e r t h e p o s s i b i l i t y t h a t o u r race, t h o u g h dis-
t i n g u i s h e d , of course, for its u n i q u e a b i l i t y for scientific research,
m a y also have a p a r t i c u l a r (and possibly related) tendency toward,
or desire for, religious belief. T h i s makes us v u l n e r a b l e to n u m e r -
ous hoaxes a n d impostures, p a r t i c u l a r l y the k i n d s typically, per-
haps instinctively, created by Jews. T h e r e is, I t h i n k , a great deal
o f t r u t h i n Spengler's i d e n t i f i c a t i o n a n d description o f t h e Faus-
tian s o u l of o u r c i v i l i z a t i o n w i t h its y e a r n i n g for the i n f i n i t e as its
idée maîtresse. Infinity can be temporal as well as spatial, and it is
easy to see that this tendency of the racial m e n t a l i t y w o u l d natu-
r a l l y p r o d u c e a very strong a n d intense desire for i m m o r t a l i t y . As
Nietzsche said in his m i d n i g h t h y m n , "Doch alle Lust w i l l
Ewigkeit, — w i l l tiefe, tiefe Ewigkeit!"

of C h r i s t i a n i t y , a l t h o u g h , so far as I can judge from experience
w i t h m y o w n writings, about 1 5 % o f t h e C h r i s t i a n s are alert
e n o u g h to see my i m p l i c a t i o n s .
I t h i n k I have a greater sympathy for C h r i s t i a n i t y than my
readers imagine, for I not o n l y recognize it as a b e l i e f that was for
a l o n g time part o f o u r c i v i l i z a t i o n a n d p r o d u c e d s u c h s p l e n d i d
m o n u m e n t s as the great cathedrals, b u t I also regard it as h a v i n g
been a c o n s o l a t i o n a n d b o o n to the great majority of o u r o w n
p e o p l e a n d o n e that I am sorry so m a n y m u s t n o w do w i t h o u t .
( T h i s is s o m e t h i n g quite different f r o m the social u t i l i t y of super-
n a t u r a l sanctions that m a y be the indispensable basis of a gener-
ally accepted a n d observed morality.) M y feeling for C h r i s t i a n i t y
is, I t h i n k , expressed by w h a t I c o n s i d e r o n e of the best poems of
Sir W i l l i a m Watson, "The Churchyard."

I wandered far in the wold,


And after the heat and glare,

Before we c o n s i d e r C h r i s t i a n i t y vis à vis the Jewish survival


strategy, let me first m a k e two generalizations:
(1) T h e p o w e r a n d value of a r e l i g i o n has n o t h i n g to do w i t h
t h e p e r s o n a l i t y o r p r o b i t y o f its founder. T h e best example o f t h a t
is p r o v i d e d by the M o r m o n s , w h o are today the most s o l i d a n d
stable cult in the U n i t e d States, a n d w h o successfully resisted
longer t h a n any o t h e r large c h u r c h the contagious decay that
q u i c k l y reduced all others, w i t h the exception of some small, scat-
tered, a n d d i s c o r d a n t F u n d a m e n t a l i s t churches a n d some pock-
ets of T r a d i t i o n a l i s t C a t h o l i c s , to the c o n t e m p t i b l e q u a c k e r y of a
"social gospel" a n d h y p o c r i t i c a l irrationality. T h i s really astonish-
i n g a n d massive religious edifice was f o u n d e d by o n e Joseph
S m i t h , a petty s w i n d l e r w h o began his career by fleecing suckers
by means of a magic stone t h r o u g h w h i c h he c o u l d see treasure
b u r i e d in the earth, b u t after he was arrested a n d got o f f w i t h a
p r o m i s e n o t to do it again, t u r n e d to the safer a n d m u c h m o r e
lucrative racket o f s w i n d l i n g suckers w i t h r e l i g i o n . H e f o u n d e d a
great c h u r c h , b u t there is reason to believe that he d i d n ' t give a
d a m n w h a t h a p p e n e d to it after he was dead a n d p r o b a b l y d i d n ' t
expect it to last. S m i t h , of course, was a m a n a b o u t w h o m we
have a great deal of i n f o r m a t i o n , b o t h about his life a n d about
his doctrines, whereas we k n o w n o t h i n g whatsoever a b o u t Jesus
except the myths associated w i t h his name, a n d these are so vari-
ous, contradictory, a n d late that he is, for all practical purposes, a
m y t h i c a l figure, like A d o n i s or M i t h r a , even if there was a m a n by
that n a m e (as is likely) about w h o m the myths were assembled. If
it were possible to ascertain w h o he was a n d what he d i d , it
w o u l d not in the least matter if he were f o u n d to be a character
n o m o r e a d m i r a b l e than Joseph S m i t h .
(2) T h e Jesus-cults that existed in the R o m a n E m p i r e are
c o n n e c t e d w i t h W e s t e r n C h r i s t i a n i t y o n l y i n t h a t some o f t h e m
p r o v i d e d a pseudo-historical story that was accepted by the W e s t

( o u r ancestors s i m p l y ignored the parts that o u r m i n d s f o u n d dis-


tasteful), a n d a confused metaphysical d o c t r i n e expressed in
words that o u r people m i s u n d e r s t o o d a n d progressively reinter-
preted u n t i l t h e o r i g i n a l m e a n i n g was c o m p l e t e l y forgotten. T h i s
is true not o n l y of the r a n k jungle of Jesus-cults that f l o u r i s h e d in
t h e S e c o n d C e n t u r y a n d thereafter, b u t also o f t h e " o r t h o d o x "
C h r i s t i a n i t y w h i c h came i n t o b e i n g u n d e r t h e successors o f C o n -
stantine. A s Spengler p o i n t s out i n t h e second v o l u m e o f t h e
Untergang, even the " o r t h o d o x " C h r i s t i a n i t y of the last days of the
R o m a n E m p i r e was still essentially a M a g i a n cult a n d , as such,
was u n i n t e l l i g i b l e to the Faustian m i n d , a n d he observes that
A u g u s t i n e , t h o u g h revered b y t h e Western c h u r c h , w o u l d have
regarded t h e C h r i s t i a n i t y o f A n s e l m o r S t . T h o m a s o r L u t h e r a s
an a b o m i n a b l e a n d i n c o m p r e h e n s i b l e heresy — a n d so w o u l d the
o t h e r supposed "Fathers of the C h u r c h . " T h e y were fathers his-
torically, o f course, b u t had they k n o w n t h e C h r i s t i a n i t y o f M e d i -
aeval E u r o p e , they w o u l d i n d i g n a n t l y have repudiated it as a
bastard w i t h w h o m they had n o c o n n e c t i o n .

T h e r e was no s u c h t h i n g as an ' o r t h o d o x ' C h r i s t i a n i t y


before the last two decades of the F o u r t h C e n t u r y , w h e n o n e
b u n c h o f h o l y m e n g o t h o l d o f T h e o d o s i u s (by e x p l a i n i n g t o h i m
h o w advantageous it w o u l d be for h i m to coöperate w i t h them)
a n d so were able to use the p o l i c e power of the state to repress
a n d k i l l t h e i r competitors, the A r i a n s , w h o had been the officially
s a n c t i o n e d b r a n d of C h r i s t i a n s (and so "orthodox"!) before that
t i m e . (The A r i a n s , n o w called 'heretics' retrospectively, were
g u i l t y of b e i n g sufficiently logical to c l a i m that a father was neces-
sarily o l d e r than his s o n , a n d they n a t u r a l l y regarded as very stu-
p i d heretics the mystery-mongers w h o c l a i m e d that a father a n d
his son had been b o r n at the same time. T h e latter, however, were
clever e n o u g h to back T h e o d o s i u s before he p u s h e d his way to
the t h r o n e a n d to back G r a t i a n against his father, a n d once they

m e r a b l e C h r i s t i a n sects that d i d not have doctrines that can c o n -
veniently be twisted into conformity with what became
' o r t h o d o x ' b y decree o f T h e o d o s i u s i n 381, thus l e a d i n g t h e
u n w a r y layman to suppose that there was an ' o r t h o d o x ' C h r i s -
t i a n i t y before that time. T h e y also conceal the fact that if the
b r a n d that got p o w e r in 381 is o r t h o d o x y , then all W e s t e r n C h r i s -
t i a n i t y is a heresy, a n d they themselves are, by that d e f i n i t i o n ,
heretics.)

T h e o n l y honest t h i n g t o d o i s t o a p p l y t h e term ' C h r i s t i a n '


to all the sects that c l a i m e d to be followers of a Jesus e n t i t l e d
' C h r i s t u s , ' w h o was really or supposedly executed in Judaea in
t h e t i m e o f T i b e r i u s o r thereabouts. W h e n C h r i s t i a n s b e c o m e
c o n s p i c u o u s , late i n t h e S e c o n d C e n t u r y , m o s t o f t h e m were
Jews, a n d it is p r o b a b l e that the n u m e r o u s letters of Paul, i n c l u d -
i n g b o t h those that were i n c o r p o r a t e d in the " N e w Testament"
a n t h o l o g y w h e n it was put together a n d those that were excluded
for some reason, were manufactured at this time by Jews w h o
w a n t e d to take in goyim on easy terms. (These fabrications proba-
b l y i n c l u d e d t h e forged c o r r e s p o n d e n c e o f Seneca w i t h Paul,
w h i c h seems to have been k n o w n to T e r t u l l i a n . ) T h i s was a p r i n -
c i p a l difference a m o n g t h e n u m e r o u s C h r i s t i a n sects. T h e N a z a -
renes, whose h o l y b o o k was a " G o s p e l A c c o r d i n g to the
Hebrews," o f w h i c h fragments survive, a n d w h o spoke o n l y A r a -
m a i c in their rites, h e l d that o n l y Jews by race c o u l d be C h r i s -
tians, since C h r i s t , w h e n he returned to b u t c h e r the hated goyim,
n a t u r a l l y w a n t e d o n l y Jews to r u l e the w o r l d . A c o m p r o m i s e was
m a d e by the E b i o n i t e s , w h o had, inter alia, a " G o s p e l of M a t -
thew" that was c e r t a i n l y o l d e r than the d i l u t e d rifacimento that

b e c o m e C h r i s t i a n s second-class, as I w i l l show below. T h e C a r p o -
cratians, w h o seem to have been a n u m e r o u s a n d p o w e r f u l sect in
their day, a d m i t t e d goyim on equal terms, since S a l v a t i o n was for
all those w h o h a d been 'redeemed b y C h r i s t ' from servitude t o
man-made laws a n d m a t e r i a l i s m . C h r i s t h a d c o m e to free m a n -
k i n d f r o m oppression a n d to bestow on the righteous a n e w free-
d o m : w h a t matters is s p i r i t u a l salvation, a n d we m u s t s h o w o u r
e m a n c i p a t i o n from material things by r e c o g n i z i n g no h u m a n law
whatsoever a n d by feeling free to i n d u l g e any lust a n d p e r f o r m
any act to w h i c h the spirit may move us. L i k e the E b i o n i t e s , the
C a r p o c r a t i a n s preached a total c o m m u n i s m , w i t h all p r o p e r t y
a n d w o m e n to be for the use of everyone. T h e y a d m i t t e d w o m e n
for the sake of general p r o m i s c u i t y in the m o d e r n m a n n e r , a n d
a l t h o u g h they h a d no objection to homosexuality, they thus dif-
fered f r o m some o t h e r brands o f C h r i s t i a n s , w h o excluded
females a s " u n w o r t h y o f t h e K i n g d o m o f G o d " a n d practiced
o n l y m a l e homosexuality. T h e r e were m a n y other C h r i s t i a n sects,
each w i t h its o w n revelations from G o d via Jesus, s u c h as the
Naasenes, w h o w o r s h i p p e d snakes as symbols a n d i n c a r n a t i o n s of
d i v i n e power because snakes shed t h e i r skins p e r i o d i c a l l y a n d so
are b o r n again a n d live forever; the A d a m i t e s , w h o s e specialty was
g o i n g n u d e in p u b l i c to show that they h a d been redeemed by
C h r i s t from o r i g i n a l sin a n d were thereby e m a n c i p a t e d from all
the laws of s i n f u l m a n ; a n d scores of others.

My guess is that the C a r p o c r a t i a n s a n d s i m i l a r canaille were


t h e d o m i n a n t sects o f C h r i s t i a n i t y u n t i l t h e persecutions b y t h e
w i c k e d pagan emperors i n t h e T h i r d C e n t u r y m a d e those forms
o f C h r i s t i a n i t y u n p o p u l a r because l i k e l y t o b e unhealthy. T h e
tales of the martyrs are all f i c t i o n , of course, (Jerome, in a letter

that was i n c l u d e d , doubtless by oversight, in the official collec-


t i o n of his correspondence, boasts of his s k i l l in i n v e n t i n g martyr-
stories to edify the faithful), but some R o m a n emperors d i d m a k e
systematic attempts to enforce respect for law a n d accepted m o r a l -
ity b y t r y i n g t o excise t h e C h r i s t i a n t u m o r o n t h e state, a n d I
t h i n k it l i k e l y that these persecutions were sufficiently successful
to leave the Gospel-business o p e n to sects that at least professed
the relatively i n n o c u o u s doctrines that f i n a l l y b e c a m e "ortho-
dox."

O u r h o l y m e n try to dodge the facts of early C h r i s t i a n i t y by


c a l l i n g "gnostic" all the sects that weren't " o r t h o d o x " by stan-
dards t h a t were n o t devised before t h e F o u r t h C e n t u r y . T h i s , o f
course, is sheer dishonesty. A " G n o s t i c i s m " is a religious sect that
claims to have a gnosis, a knowledge of supernatural things,
revealed to t h e m by some S a v i o r w h o was either an incarnate g o d
or a d i v i n e l y - i n s p i r e d s u p e r m a n . O b v i o u s l y , all C h r i s t i a n sects are
G n o s t i c in that sense, because they all c l a i m to be based on reve-
lations made by C h r i s t , w h o , in the various sects, was regarded as
h a v i n g been either an i n c a r n a t i o n of a g o d or a m a n w h o m J o h n
t h e Baptist o r some other p r o p h e t had p u m p e d full o f H o l y
S p i r i t . In the first four centuries A.D. the w o r l d was full of G n o s -
tics p e d d l i n g special revelations, a n d , o f course, C h r i s t was o n l y
o n e of the Saviors: others were B a r u c h , G a m a l i e l , Tat (= the
E g y p t i a n god Toth), Seth (Egyptian god), B a l a a m , Ezechiel, A d a m
(whose b o o k s h a d just been discovered), Moses, E n o c h , M a r -
sanes, N i c o t h e u s , Phosilampes, M i t h r a , Zoroaster, Z e r v a n , et al.,
et al. In the early centuries of o u r era, the N e a r East was a B e d -
l a m filled w i t h the insane ravings of fakirs p e d d l i n g t h e i r Saviors
a n d their forged G o s p e l s , a n d at this distance it is i m p o s s i b l e to
tell the difference between m a d m e n , hallucinés w h o got visions
of g o d from eating the sacred m u s h r o o m , Amanita muscaria, a n d
shysters fleecing the yokels w i t h mystic gabble. O n e c a n n o t read

m u c h of the g i b b e r i s h w i t h o u t feeling queasy a n d dizzy, b u t for a


q u i c k survey of the stuff that o u r h o l y m e n w a n t to sweep u n d e r

Paris, 1959, w h i c h surveys the b o o k s f o u n d at C h e n o b o s k i o n a
few years before. T h e one significant t h i n g is that the peddlers of
all forms o f G n o s t i c i s m ( i n c l u d i n g C h r i s t i a n cults before t h e
T h i r d C e n t u r y ) were almost all Jews. If y o u w i l l l o o k in y o u r Scien-
tific American for January 1973, p p . 80—87, y o u w i l l note that the
a u t h o r has to a d m i t that "it becomes increasingly evident that
m u c h o f G n o s t i c i s m i s p r o b a b l y o f Jewish o r i g i n . " H e i s naturally
cautious, w a r y of o f f e n d i n g G o d ' s Peculiar People. A l t h o u g h I
a d m i t t h a t one c a n n o t identify t h e race o f some o f t h e m o r e
p r o m i n e n t Salvation-hucksters, I t h i n k it significant that those
w h o m one can identify racially always t u r n out to be Jews, a n d I
w o u l d delete " m u c h of" a n d "probably" in the author's state-
ment.

T h e r e can be no question b u t that C h r i s t i a n i t y was origi-


n a l l y a Jewish p r o m o t i o n , and it is noteworthy that the C h r i s t i a n s
w h o try to make their cult respectable in the T h i r d C e n t u r y
c l a i m that they repudiate the Jews. O n e of the earliest to do this
was T e r t u l l i a n , a C a r t h a g i n i a n shyster, whose Apologeticum, a
defense of C h r i s t i a n i t y , was written at the very b e g i n n i n g of the
T h i r d C e n t u r y . He asserts that C h r i s t i a n i t y is not a conspiracy of
revolutionaries a n d degenerates, as was c o m m o n l y believed, a n d
claims that it is an association of l o v i n g brothers w h o have pre-
served the faith that the Jews forsook — w h i c h has been the c o m -
mon story ever since. O u r holy men salvage T e r t u l l i a n by
c l a i m i n g that he was " o r t h o d o x " in his early writings, b u t then,
alas! became a M o n t a n i s t heretic, p o o r fellow. T e r t u l l i a n is the
a u t h o r of the famous d i c t u m that he believes the impossible
because it is absurd (credo quia absurdum), so he is naturally dear
t o t h e heart o f t h e pious. H o w m u c h Jerome a n d o t h e r saints

have tampered w i t h the facts to make T e r t u l l i a n seem " o r t h o d o x "


in his early works has been m o s t fully s h o w n by T i m o t h y Barnes
in his Tertullian ( O x f o r d , 1971), b u t even he spends a h u n d r e d
pages p a w i n g over c h r o n o l o g i c a l difficulties that can be recon-
c i l e d by w h a t seems to me the s i m p l e a n d obvious s o l u t i o n : T e r -
t u l l i a n , w h o was evidently a pettifogging lawyer before he got i n t o
the Gospel-business, had sense e n o u g h to e l i m i n a t e from his
b r i e f for the C h r i s t i a n s facts that w o u l d have displeased the
pagans w h o m he was t r y i n g to c o n v i n c e that C h r i s t i a n s repre-
sented no threat to c i v i l i z e d society; he a c c o r d i n g l y concealed in
his apologetic works the p e c u l i a r doctrines of the C h r i s t i a n sect
to w h i c h he h a d been o r i g i n a l l y "converted," b u t he n a t u r a l l y
e x p o u n d e d those doctrines in writings i n t e n d e d , n o t for the eyes
of w i c k e d pagans, but for o t h e r brands of C h r i s t i a n s , w h o m he
w i s h e d to convert to his o w n sect, w h i c h was that of M o n t a n u s , a
very H o l y P r o p h e t ( d i v i n e l y i n s p i r e d , of course) w h o was a Phry-
g i a n , n o t a Jew, a n d w h o h a d learned f r o m chats w i t h G o d t h a t
since the Jews had muffed their b i g o p p o r t u n i t y at the t i m e of
the C r u c i f i x i o n , Jesus, w h e n he returned next year or the year
after that, was g o i n g to set up his New Jerusalem in P h r y g i a after
he h a d raised hell w i t h the pagans a n d t o r m e n t e d a n d b u t c h e r e d
t h e m in all of the delightful ways so lovingly described in the
A p o c a l y p s e , t h e H y m n o f H a t e t h a t still soothes t h e souls o f "fun-
damentalist" C h r i s t i a n s today. If, in his Apologeticum a n d s i m i l a r
works, T e r t u l l i a n had t o l d the s t u p i d pagans that they were g o i n g
to be t o r t u r e d a n d exterminated in a year or two, they m i g h t have
d o u b t e d that C h r i s t i a n s were the i n n o c e n t little lambs that T e r -
t u l l i a n c l a i m e d they were.

T e r t u l l i a n writes semi-literate bombast. T h e first C h r i s t i a n


w h o can write decent L a t i n is M i n u c i u s Felix, w h o s e Octavius,
w r i t t e n in the first h a l f (possibly the first quarter) of the T h i r d
C e n t u r y must have d o n e m u c h t o m a k e C h r i s t i a n i t y respectable.

H e concentrates o n r i d i c u l i n g pagan myths t h a t n o educated


m a n believed anyway a n d on d e n y i n g that C h r i s t i a n s (he means
his k i n d , of course!) practice incest (a favorite recreation of m a n y
sects that h a d been saved by C h r i s t f r o m the tyranny of h u m a n
laws) o r cut t h e throats o f c h i l d r e n t o o b t a i n b l o o d for H o l y
C o m m u n i o n (as some groups u n d o u b t e d l y did). He argues for a
m o n o t h e i s m that is i n d i s t i n g u i s h a b l e from the Stoic except that
the O n e G o d is identified as the C h r i s t i a n deity, f r o m w h o s e
w o r s h i p the sinful Jews are apostates, a n d insists that C h r i s t i a n s
have n o t h i n g to do w i t h the Jews, w h o m G o d is g o i n g to p u n i s h .
W h a t is interesting is that M i n u c i u s has n o t h i n g to say a b o u t any
specifically C h r i s t i a n d o c t r i n e , a n d that the names of Jesus or
C h r i s t do not appear in his w o r k . T h e r e is just o n e a l l u s i o n : the
pagans say that C h r i s t i a n i t y was f o u n d e d by a felon ( u n n a m e d )
w h o was c r u c i f i e d . T h a t , says M i n u c i u s , is absurd: no c r i m i n a l
ever deserved, n o r d i d a m a n of this w o r l d have the power, to be
believed to be a g o d (erratis, qui putatis deum credi aut meruisse nox-
ium aut potuisse terrenum). T h a t a m b i g u o u s reference is all that he
has to say a b o u t it; he turns at o n c e to c o n d e m n i n g the Egyptians
for w o r s h i p p i n g a m o r t a l m a n , a n d then he argues that the sign
of the cross represents (a) the mast a n d yard of a ship u n d e r sail,
a n d (b) t h e p o s i t i o n o f m a n w h o i s w o r s h i p p i n g G o d properly,
i.e. s t a n d i n g w i t h outstretched arms. If M i n u c i u s is not m e r e l y
t r y i n g to p u l l the w o o l over the eyes of the g u l l i b l e pagans, it cer-
t a i n l y sounds as t h o u g h this C h r i s t i a n were d e n y i n g the d i v i n i t y
o f C h r i s t , either regarding h i m , a s d i d m a n y o f t h e early C h r i s -
tians, as m a n w h o was i n s p i r e d but was not to be i d e n t i f i e d w i t h
G o d , or c l a i m i n g , as d i d a n u m b e r of later sects, that what
appeared on earth a n d was crucified was merely a ghost, an
insubstantial a p p a r i t i o n sent b y C h r i s t , w h o h i m s e l f p r u d e n t l y
stayed in his heaven above the clouds a n d laughed at the fools

are q u i t e sure that he was " o r t h o d o x . "

W h e t h e r t h e C h r i s t i a n s , o f w h o m there i s n o certain histor­


ical trace before c. 112, were s i m p l y a m o d i f i e d or disguised c o n ­
t i n u a t i o n of the Chrestiani (i.e., the followers of a Jewish christ
w h o , u n d e r t h e assumed n a m e o f C h r e s t u s , e v i d e n t l y persuaded
at least the rabble of the huge Jewish c o l o n y p l a n t e d in R o m e
that the t i m e to start b u t c h e r i n g the goyim had c o m e ) c a n n o t be
d e t e r m i n e d . T h e w o r d that Tacitus used, a s s h o w n b y t h e o r i g i n a l
r e a d i n g o f t h e M e d i c e a n m a n u s c r i p t ( w h i c h can s t i l l b e seen
b e n e a t h the erasure a n d " c o r r e c t i o n " by a later hand) was Chres­
tiani ("quos p e r flagitia invisos vulgus C h r e s t i a n o s appellabat"),
a n d the accuracy of that s p e l l i n g is guaranteed by the fact that
T e r t u l l i a n c o m p l a i n s in 197 A.D. a n d later that the m e m b e r s of
his sect are called Chrestiani by the w i c k e d pagans, w h i c h isn't
r i g h t at a l l , because the correct w o r d is Christiani.

T h i s is significant because χ ρ η σ τ ό ς [Chrestus], 'useful, ser­


viceable, good,' is a c o m m o n G r e e k w o r d a n d was a n a m e fre­
q u e n t l y given to slaves of O r i e n t a l o r i g i n (retained by t h e m as a
c o g n o m e n w h e n they were e m a n c i p a t e d ) a n d was also c o m m o n l y
taken as a n a m e by persons of the lower classes in A s i a M i n o r
w h o w a n t e d t o b e k n o w n b y a n i n t e l l i g i b l e G r e e k n a m e i n place
o f t h e o u t l a n d i s h S e m i t i c o r o t h e r native n a m e t h a t was p r o p e r l y
theirs ( m u c h as C h i n e s e in this c o u n t r y call themselves ' C h a r l i e '
o r ' M i k e ' ) . C i c e r o ' s f r i e n d , C u r i o , for example, h a d a slave o r
freedman n a m e d C h r e s t u s , w h o m h e e m p l o y e d a s a k i n d o f j o u r ­
nalist to draw up s u m m a r i e s of d a i l y events in R o m e for transmis­
s i o n as news to his friends w h o were out of Italy. M a n y persons of
that n a m e are k n o w n . O n e o f t h e m was a Jewish r e v o l u t i o n a r y
agitator, C h r e s t u s , w h o was regarded as the leader of o n e of the
b i g Jewish outbreaks i n R o m e , w h i c h , a s w e k n o w f r o m Sueto-

n i u s (Claud. 25.4), was a c c o m p a n i e d by r i o t i n g a n d outrages so


gross that C l a u d i u s ran all the Jews (except, of course, those w h o
h a d b o u g h t citizenship) o u t of the city. (It d i d not w o r k , of
course, for w h i l e he was h a v i n g o n e t h r o w n o u t of the front door,
two were p r o b a b l y c r a w l i n g in the b a c k w i n d o w s , a n d a few years
later R o m e was m o r e c r o w d e d w i t h Jews than ever, a n d C l a u d i u s ,
w h e n they again made themselves m o r e o b n o x i o u s t h a n usual,
d e c i d e d they were too n u m e r o u s a n d too deeply e n t r e n c h e d in
the e c o n o m i c life of the city to be expelled, a n d tried to c o n t r o l
t h e m by suppressing their synagogues in the city (Cassius Dio,
L X . 6 . 8 ) . T h e date o f t h e p a r t i c u l a r outbreak o f w h i c h C h r e s t u s
was the leader is u n c e r t a i n . It is assigned to 49—50 A.D. by Koes-
t e r m a n n , w h o has a g o o d article on this subject in Historia, X V I
(1967), 456—469, but it c o u l d have been an outbreak of Jews six or
seven years earlier. A c c e p t i n g K o e s t e r m a n n ' s date, it o c c u r r e d
between fourteen a n d fifteen years before the b u r n i n g of R o m e
i n 6 4 A . D . , for w h i c h N e r o b l a m e d t h e Chrestiani, w h o were cer-
t a i n l y regarded as a gang or rather h o r d e of Jews w h o were t r y i n g
t o destroy c i v i l i z a t i o n i n t h e m a n n e r o f C h r e s t u s , w h o m they m a y
have venerated as their K a r l M a r x or T r o t s k y (Bronstein).

W h a t h a p p e n e d to C h r e s t u s is not k n o w n , b u t it is not
i m p o s s i b l e he h i d to avoid arrest, got out of R o m e , a n d went
b a c k to Judaea, if he h a d been there before, or, if he h a d not,
chose it as a g o o d place to stir up m o r e t r o u b l e for c i v i l i z e d m e n .
If so, he c o u l d have been arrested a n d executed there by the
R o m a n authorities. If so, he c o u l d have been the basis on w h i c h
the later myths a b o u t Jesus (a very c o m m o n Jewish name, w h i c h
c o u l d w e l l have been his) were constructed. It is a c u r i o u s fact
that o n e of the earliest C h r i s t i a n forgeries, k n o w n already to T e r -
t u l l i a n a n d a n t e d a t i n g most or all of the N e w Testament, is a sup-
posed letter from Pontius Pilatus d e s c r i b i n g t h e C r u c i f i x i o n , a n d
exists in two versions that are addressed to C l a u d i u s as well as in

t h e s t a n d a r d versions i n w h i c h t h e r e i g n i n g e m p e r o r i s T i b e r i u s .
It is h a r d to see w h y any C h r i s t i a n s s h o u l d have seen an advan­
tage in p l a c i n g the C r u c i f i x i o n so late, b u t it w o u l d be under­
standable i f t h e story o r i g i n a l l y c o n c e r n e d C h r e s t u s a n d t h e date
was m o v e d farther b a c k w h e n it was d e c i d e d that it w o u l d be bet­
ter to change the n a m e to C h r i s t u s a n d p r e t e n d that there was no
c o n n e c t i o n . A change f r o m C h r e s t u s to C h r i s t u s w o u l d have
b e e n easy to put over by the e n d of the S e c o n d C e n t u r y , w h e n
the i n c r e a s i n g itacism in G r e e k p r o n u n c i a t i o n gave eta a n d iota
t h e same s o u n d i n p o p u l a r speech. T h e r e w o u l d b e t h e f u r t h e r
advantage that the n e w n a m e w o u l d be u n i q u e a n d unprece­
d e n t e d as a p e r s o n a l n a m e , instead of b e i n g a very c o m m o n
n a m e a m o n g t h e l o w e r classes.

The word χ ρ ι σ τ ό ς [Christus], 'salve, o i n t m e n t , ' was natu­


r a l l y never a n a m e given to persons, b u t in c o n t e m p o r a r y Y i d d i s h
(i.e., the Jewish dialect of G r e e k ) it was for some reason used as
an epithet a p p l i e d to the Jewish kings w h o appear in stories in
t h e O l d Testament, i m p l y i n g t h a t they h a d been ' a n o i n t e d ' a n d
so were legitimate. It does o c c u r in the S e p t u a g i n t . It thus
a c q u i r e d a m o n g Jews a c o n n o t a t i o n that w o u l d have m a d e it a
logical title to be assumed by a r e v o l u t i o n a r y agitator w h o
c l a i m e d to be a legitimate k i n g of the Jews a n d also the M e s s i a h
w h o m t h e Jews had l o n g been awaiting w i t h t h e expectation t h a t
his s u p e r n a t u r a l powers w o u l d enable t h e m t o b u t c h e r t h e hated
I n d o - E u r o p e a n s w i t h o u t fear of reprisals. It is e n t i r e l y possible
that there was s u c h an agitator, d i s t i n c t f r o m C h r e s t u s , in the
t i m e of T i b e r i u s a n d that he was executed by the R o m a n gover­
n o r o f Judaea a t t h a t t i m e . Y o u w i l l n o t i c e t h a t t h e stories i n the
N e w T e s t a m e n t c o n t a i n clear vestiges o f a c l a i m t o b e t h e ' K i n g o f
the Jews,' w h i c h the a u t h o r s of the stories f i n d it necessary to
e x p l a i n away. In the absence of any h i s t o r i c a l r e c o r d o n e can o n l y
speculate, of course, but on the w h o l e I t h i n k it m o r e l i k e l y that

there was an agitator or thaumaturgist n a m e d Jesus (i.e. Yeshua', a

career of C h r e s t u s . Palestine was full of goëtae, fakirs, p e d d l i n g
miracles a n d revelations to the m u l t i t u d e , a n d it w o u l d not be at
all a s t o n i s h i n g if o n e of t h e m tried to set h i m s e l f up in c o m p e t i -
t i o n to the established Jewish priests w i t h fatal results or even
started a r e v o l u t i o n a r y m o v e m e n t of some sort that the R o m a n
government nipped in the bud.

T h e foregoing w i l l explain w h y it is nearly certain that the


Chrestiani executed b y N e r o i n 6 4 A , D , were a m o b o f Jewish rev-
o l u t i o n a r i e s , followers o f t h e n o t o r i o u s C h r e s t u s , w h o had led
the destructive outbreak fourteen or m o r e years before. T h e r e is
thus no historical evidence for the existence of C h r i s t i a n s at so
early a date. ( T h e t e r m ' C h r i s t i a n ' s h o u l d o b v i o u s l y be a p p l i e d
o n l y to sects that c l a i m to be derived f r o m a C h r i s t u s distinct
f r o m Chrestus.) F o r further i n f o r m a t i o n on this subject, see the

Pliny's letter is o u r earliest historical evidence for C h r i s t i a n s .
P l i n y was i n B i t h y n i a i n 112 A . D . , a n d a t that t i m e t h e C h r i s t i a n s
p r o b a b l y had not yet c o n c o c t e d any 'gospels,' a l t h o u g h it is possi-
ble, of course, that they had some in secret a n d were able to c o n -
ceal t h e m f r o m h i m . (There is a translation w i t h the text of the
letter in the Loeb series.) T h e y c o n v i n c e d P l i n y that they were just
a b u n c h of ignorant a n d superstitious, b u t i n n o x i o u s , fanatics,
a n d , as is evident from the letter, P l i n y was really astonished to
f i n d no evidence that they were g u i l t y of the crimes (such as r i t u a l
murders) a n d anarchistic subversion that he n a t u r a l l y associated
w i t h the name. S i n c e his is the o n l y historical evidence for C h r i s -
tians at so early a date, we have no means of k n o w i n g w h e t h e r he
confused Christiani w i t h Chrestiani (who may still have been active
at that t i m e — the Jews were always c o n s p i r i n g against c i v i l i s a t i o n

a n d m a y have kept the name) — a c o n f u s i o n that was p a r t i c u l a r l y


easy because a R o m a n w o u l d have t h o u g h t it u n l i k e l y that a
g r o u p w o u l d call itself 'the people of the salve,' w h i c h is all the
n a m e w o u l d m e a n to anyone w h o was not a Jew — or there were
C h r i s t i a n s (i.e., persons w h o c l a i m e d to be followers of a C h r i s -
tus, n o t Chrestus) w h o d i d practice r i t u a l m u r d e r s a n d t h e like.
T h e r e were s u c h later.

It is certain that the earliest k n o w n sects of " C h r i s t i a n s , "


i.e., followers of o n e or a n o t h e r of the agitators n a m e d Jesus,
were enemies of, a n d p r o b a b l y conspirators against, the G r a e c o -
R o m a n s . T h e Nazarenes a d m i t t e d o n l y Jews; t h e E b i o n i t e s , i n
c o n f o r m i t y w i t h t h e d o c t r i n e stated e x p l i c i t l y i n t h e " N e w Testa-
m e n t " (Marc. 7.27—29), a l t h o u g h most C h r i s t i a n s are too s t u p i d to
u n d e r s t a n d w h a t they read, a d m i t t e d goyim to the status of " w h i n -
i n g dogs," p r o v i d e d they h a d themselves c i r c u m c i s e d a n d obeyed
their d i v i n e l y - a p p o i n t e d masters, p r o m i s i n g t h e m t h a t w h e n
Jesus returned w i t h celestial r e i n f o r c e m e n t s a n d i n f l i c t e d on the
hated G r e e k s a n d R o m a n s all the slaughter a n d torment that is
so enthusiastically described in the apocalypse that was i n c l u d e d
in the " N e w Testament," the proselytes w o u l d be p e r m i t t e d to lie
on the f l o o r b e h i n d the tables at w h i c h the t r i u m p h a n t Jews ban-
quet a n d to eat the table scraps t h r o w n to t h e m . T h i s promise,
however, u n d e r s t a n d a b l y failed to attract large n u m b e r s of goyim,
a n d the superstition got u n d e r way o n l y w h e n its doctrines h a d
been m o d i f i e d t o facilitate t h e "conversion" o f large n u m b e r s o f
t h e m o n g r e l i z e d inhabitants o f t h e o n c e - R o m a n E m p i r e . M a n y o f
the early C h r i s t i a n sects d i s c l a i m e d in various ways a c o n n e c t i o n
w i t h the Jews, a n d it can scarcely be d o u b t e d that the anti-Jewish
passages in the " N e w Testament" were designed to facilitate c o m -
p e t i t i o n w i t h those sects. It is, I t h i n k , most significant that the
C h r i s t i a n sect w h i c h shrewdly m a d e a deal w i t h the despots of
t h e decaying R o m a n E m p i r e a n d thus acquired t h e legal a n d m i l -

itary p o w e r to exterminate its competitors was o n e w h i c h h a d


assembled a hastily collected a n d slovenly edited a n t h o l o g y of a
few of the n u m e r o u s gospels a n d called it a " N e w Testament," so
that it c o u l d carry w i t h it an " O l d Testament" of Jewish tales to
prove that the Jews were the C h o s e n Race of the tribal deity
w h o m the Jews had i m p u d e n t l y i d e n t i f i e d w i t h the animus mundi
o f Stoic m o n o t h e i s m a s well a s w i t h t h e A h u r a - M a z d a o f t h e
Zoroastrian cult. It m a y also be significant that the C h r i s t i a n s
have always used the n o r m a l Jewish techniques of fraud a n d forg-
ery, most o b v i o u s l y w h e n they c o n c o c t e d gospels that p u r p o r t to
have been written by eyewitnesses of m i r a c u l o u s a n d impossible
events. T h e evidence does not p e r m i t us to affirm that C h r i s t i a n -
ity was c u n n i n g l y invented by the Jews as a means of paralysing
the healthy instincts of o t h e r races, b u t we can affirm that if the
Jews d i d set out to devise a m e n t a l p o i s o n that w o u l d eventually
be lethal to o u r race, they c o u l d have concocted no d r u g that was
m o r e efficacious in the circumstances.

I e m p h a t i c a l l y call y o u r attention to the o b v i o u s fact that the


p r i m i t i v e C h r i s t i a n d o c t r i n e is a specific d e m a n d for the suicide
o f o u r race, w h i c h survived f r o m t h e e n d o f t h e R o m a n E m p i r e
to the present o n l y because o u r ancestors, of fresh barbarian
stock, s i m p l y ignored in practice a large part of the p e r n i c i o u s
d o c t r i n e , especially in n o r t h e r n E u r o p e u n d e r essentially aristo-
cratic régimes. U n t i l the disintegration of Protestantism m a d e it
possible for any a m b i t i o u s tailor, clever c o n f i d e n c e m a n , or dis-
g r u n t l e d housewife to have "revelations" a n d p i t c h the w o o at
lower classes to m a k e themselves i m p o r t a n t or fleece the suckers,
t h e professional h o l y m e n either c o n t e n t e d themselves w i t h tell-
i n g o u r people they were " s i n f u l " o r used t h e c o m m o n devices o f
theologians t o c o n c e a l t h e i m p o r t o f t h e h o l y b o o k . (Even so,
however, the C a t h o l i c dervishes are o b v i o u s l y responsible for the

eventual d o m i n a n c e o f mestizos i n " L a t i n " A m e r i c a , a n d m a n y


s i m i l a r misfortunes.)
F o r t h e deplorable acceptance o f C h r i s t i a n i t y b y t h e igno-
rant barbarians of o u r race, I have tried to account in my b o o k ,
Christianity and the Survival of the West. I w o u l d n o w change n o t h -
i n g in that discussion except to m a k e it m o r e emphatic, for in the
years since I wrote it, I have c o m e to the c o n c l u s i o n that, w i t h
o n l y n u m e r i c a l l y insignificant exceptions, the C h r i s t i a n s are use-
less in any effort to preserve o u r race, a n d that o u r domestic ene-
mies are, f r o m their standpoint, w e l l advised to subsidize, as they
are n o w d o i n g , the r a n t i n g of evangelical shamans a n d the revival
o f m e n t i c i d a l superstitions b y every means, i n c l u d i n g t h e h i r i n g
of technicians w h o can pose as "scientists" a n d "prove," by subtle
o r i m p u d e n t tricks, t h e " t r u t h " o f t h e flimsiest hoaxes a n d t h e
m o s t preposterous n o t i o n s . T h e d e v e l o p m e n t o f C h r i s t i a n i t y i n
all the sects of the Western w o r l d d u r i n g the past two centuries
has been the progressive e l i m i n a t i o n f r o m all of t h e m of the ele-
ments o f o u r natively A r y a n m o r a l i t y that were s u p e r i m p o s e d o n
t h e d o c t r i n e before a n d d u r i n g t h e M i d d l e A g e s t o make i t
acceptable to o u r race a n d so a r e l i g i o n that c o u l d not be
e x p o r t e d as a w h o l e to o t h e r races. W i t h the progressive weaken-
i n g of o u r racial instincts, all the cults have been restored to c o n -
f o r m i t y w i t h t h e " p r i m i t i v e " C h r i s t i a n i t y o f t h e h o l y b o o k , i.e., t o
the u n d i l u t e d p o i s o n of the Jewish originals. I s h o u l d , perhaps,
have m a d e it m o r e explicit in my little b o o k that the effective
p o w e r of the alien cult is by no means c o n f i n e d to sects that
affirm a b e l i e f in supernatural beings. As I have stressed in o t h e r
writings, w h e n the C h r i s t i a n myths became unbelievable, they
left in the m i n d s of even intelligent a n d educated m e n a residue,
the detritus of the rejected mythology, in the f o r m of supersti-
tions about " a l l m a n k i n d , " " h u m a n rights," a n d s i m i l a r figments
of the i m a g i n a t i o n that h a d gained c u r r e n c y o n l y on the assump-

t i o n that they h a d been decreed by an o m n i p o t e n t deity, so that


in practical terms we m u s t regard as basically C h r i s t i a n a n d reli-
gious s u c h i r r a t i o n a l cults as C o m m u n i s m a n d the tangle of fan-
cies that is called " L i b e r a l i s m " a n d is the most w i d e l y accepted
f a i t h a m o n g o u r people today. I am a little encouraged that today
some of the m o r e intelligent "Liberals" are at last p e r c e i v i n g that
t h e i r supposedly r a t i o n a l creed is s i m p l y based on the C h r i s t i a n
myths they have c o n s c i o u s l y rejected. I note, for example, that
M a r y K e n n y , w h o describes herself as "a f o r m e r radical" (The Sun-
day Telegraph, 27 January 1980, p p . 8—9), has c o m e to the realiza-
tion that "so m a n y of the ["Liberals'"] p o l i t i c a l ideas... are
religious at root. T h e search for equality in the secular sense is a
replacement o f t h e J u d a e o - C h r i s t i a n idea that G o d loves every
i n d i v i d u a l equally. ...The feelings of g u i l t or, i n d e e d , pity, w h i c h
o n c e went i n t o the religious drive, are b e i n g transferred to secular
ideas to the ultimate destruction of o u r c i v i l i s a t i o n . "

So far as there is hope for us, it lies, I t h i n k , in this belated


t e n d e n c y to take a c c o u n t of b i o l o g i c a l realities.

XIII. T H E D O O M O F N A T I O N S

In the foregoing pages I have tried o n l y to suggest what seem


to me to be the most i m p o r t a n t p h e n o m e n a that m u s t be taken
i n t o a c c o u n t in f o r m i n g an objective estimate of the Jews a n d in
c o n s i d e r i n g dispassionately t h e present p l i g h t o f o u r race a n d t h e
d o o m that seems to h a n g over o u r c h i l d r e n a n d over ourselves,
unless we are i n d i v i d u a l s w h o have already c o m e prope ad ipsos
exactae aetatis terminos.

I do not k n o w what, if anything, can be d o n e to preserve a


species that some j u d i c i o u s observers believe to be d r i v e n by a
largely subconscious, but irresistible, death-wish. In 1914,
a l t h o u g h we had the Jews on o u r backs, we were i n d u b i t a b l y the
d o m i n a n t race on earth; we are n o w a despised a n d degraded spe-
cies o f a n t h r o p o i d s o n w h o m all o t h e r species, i n c l u d i n g t h e very
lowest a n d most b r u t i s h , joyously feed. W h e n I see that o u r peo-
ple are either too d o l t i s h to perceive t h e i r degradation or too cra-
ven to care, I am close to despair. E v e n a few decades ago, I
s h o u l d not have believed it possible that here in the U n i t e d
States A r y a n s w o u l d w i l l i n g l y see t h e i r c h i l d r e n h a u l e d to
"schools" to be defiled by enforced association w i t h savages a n d
t o b e r o b b e d , beaten, raped, a n d m u t i l a t e d b y t h e a n i m a l s . E v e n
today, I am almost i n c r e d u l o u s w h e n I hear chiefs of p o l i c e on
t h e r a d i o u r g i n g t h e w h i t e rabbits t o m i n i m i z e t h e chances t h a t
they w i l l be m a u l e d or k i l l e d by the savages w h o m they tax t h e m -
selves to n o u r i s h a n d w h o m they subsidize to breed faster: in the
jungles that were o n c e o u r large cities, the c r i n g i n g w h i t e inhabit-
ants are t o l d they s h o u l d not venture o u t of doors after dark,
s h o u l d w a l k o n l y i n t h e m i d d l e o f sidewalks s o that C o n g o i d s are
less l i k e l y to p o u n c e on t h e m from doorways or f r o m a u t o m o -
biles in the street, a n d m u s t not s h o w themselves in large areas of

their o w n cities. A r e creatures that accept s u c h degradation capa-


ble of survival or even fit to live? Is it o n l y that they have been
enslaved by foul superstitions, or have t h e i r b r a i n s been so clot-
ted by centuries of systematic p o i s o n i n g that they have been ren-
dered p e r m a n e n t l y a n d i r r e m e d i a b l y imbecile?

W h e n the Jews invade a n a t i o n , t h e i r first c o n c e r n is, as p r u -


dence d e m a n d s , t o acquire c o n t r o l over t h e m i n d s o f t h e i r vic-
tims. I n t h e m i d d l e o f t h e N i n e t e e n t h C e n t u r y , L o r d H a r r i n g t o n
t o l d P a r l i a m e n t that the Jews already c o n t r o l l e d "a large p o r t i o n "
o f t h e B r i t i s h press, a n d , o f course, i n other A r y a n c o u n t r i e s they
h a d been e q u a l l y or m o r e successful. Less than a c e n t u r y later,
t h e i r c o n t r o l over all t h e means o f c o m m u n i c a t i o n w i t h i n every
A r y a n n a t i o n h a d b e c o m e v i r t u a l l y absolute, a l t h o u g h a few
s m a l l j o u r n a l s are still p e r m i t t e d to p u b l i s h some articles that the
o c c u p y i n g p o w e r has not approved. In this c o n n e c t i o n , it is w e l l
to r e m e m b e r the d i c t u m of D z h u g a s h v i l i (alias Stalin) that a peri-
o d i c a l w i t h a c i r c u l a t i o n of 10,000 or less was n o t w o r t h captur-
i n g or suppressing. It is also true that the Jews n e e d to have a
little o p e n o p p o s i t i o n to m a i n t a i n the fiction that they are "perse-
cuted," a n d it is possible that they have encouraged on a s m a l l
scale the m o r e absurd a n d i m p r a c t i c a l forms of " a n t i - S e m i t i s m "
for precisely that purpose. But they seem n o w to feel that they
m a y safely e x h i b i t their arrogance a n d to have resolved that no
A r y a n c u r shall be p e r m i t t e d to b a r k at his owners or even to
w h i m p e r audibly.

F o r all practical purposes, t h e n a t u r a l aristocracy o f o u r


race, w h i c h once gave it some sense of d i r e c t i o n , has been totally
destroyed, by r e v o l u t i o n a r y massacres, by c o n t r i v e d wars for hal-
l u c i n a t o r y ends, b y e c o n o m i c l o o t i n g u n d e r t h e guise o f "democ-
racy," by i n t e r n a l c o r r u p t i o n t h r o u g h the fostering of its vices,
a n d by m i s c e g e n a t i o n . We are left w i t h w h a t is, on the w h o l e , an
A r y a n proletariat, differentiated o n l y b y i n c o m e , a n d , especially

if the i n c o m e is s o m e w h a t above average, w i l l i n g to s u b m i t to


a n y t h i n g a n d even to do a n y t h i n g for a few a d d i t i o n a l dollars,
p o u n d s , o r r a n d . O u r entire p o p u l a t i o n , w i t h almost n o signifi-
cant exceptions, is n o w at the m e r c y of, a n d therefore enslaved
by, the e c o n o m i c pressures w h i c h the Jews exert at the first signs
o f disaffection. O u r r a c e ' s t r a d i t i o n a l s u s p i c i o n o f "tradesmen"
was o n l y realistic. T h e m a n w h o s e i n c o m e depends on v e n d i n g to
the masses is always subject to temptations to p r o f i t that are l i k e l y
to be stronger than any m o r a l restraints he may theoretically
acknowledge, a n d today he is no m o r e t h a n a slave at the m e r c y
of his masters. E v e n m o r e precarious is the status of those w h o
have no material goods to sell, s u c h as authors, journalists, actors,
clergymen a n d o t h e r soothsayers, salesmen, advertising agents,
teachers, a n d t h e like, whose l i v e l i h o o d depends entirely o n t h e
sale of words, mere s o u n d s w h e t h e r s p o k e n or w r i t t e n , to masses
w h o s e tastes have been f o r m e d by the f o r m i d a b l e m a c h i n e r y that
controls their m i n d s . T h e s e facts of e c o n o m i c enslavement lead
m a n y acute observers to the c o n c l u s i o n that o u r race's o n l y
chance of survival lies in the chance that the Jews, b l i n d e d by
their o w n arrogant c o n f i d e n c e in their absolute superiority, w i l l
p e r m i t or precipitate a total collapse of organized society i n t o the
anarchy in w h i c h the strong a n d resolute w i l l again survive at the
expense o f t h e weak a n d f o o l i s h .
