reviewed

1. Data sheet of bus duct

2. Material requisition for low-voltage switch board and bus duct
3. Extent of supply for low-voltage switch board and bus duct

The observations and the suggestions described document wise as these suggestions shall include in
those relevant documents.

Doc No 01. Data sheet of bus duct

1. Enclosure material
Normally busduct enclosure come with steel or aluminum enclosure. In here due to high
salinity in air it shall use Aluminum enclosure to avoid corrosion issues.

2. Conductor insulation
Conductor insulation shall be extruded epoxy compound material other than manually
insulated cupper bars

3. Powder coating colour

It shall mention the powder coating colour in RAL code for supplier reference

1. Factory Acceptance Test

It shall include the details about factory acceptance test in the manufacturing facility
before ship the product after manufacturing

2. Training and supervision

It shall mention about the installation trainings for the contractor. Also supplier shall
provide the onsite installation and testing supervision

1. Conductor material
It shall mentioned as high purity copper with (99.9% Cu) Tin plated on surface for better
conductivity

2. Construction of the busbar

Busbar shall be sandwich type with shall no spaces for trapping air throughout the length.
Also such compact design will not allow to develop fire throughout the busduct if fire occurred

3. Grade of conductor insulation

Insulation grade of the conductors shall be in higher grade (Ex Class F insulation)

4. Flexible Conductors

It shall introduce flexible conductors for all flange ends as if there any vibration develop
at one end it will not progress through the busduct.
